Zomato — food delivery at incorrect address. | |||||
I ordered food through zomato at my work address but somehow it got ordered to my home address. I spoke with someone from zomato and he assured me that he will update the correct address to the delivery boy. After more than an hour of placing my order i got a call from the delivery boy stating that he was standing at my home address. When i asked him if he was informed about the address change, he straight away said no and refused to deliver the order to my work address which is approx 1.5km from my home address. I spoke with zomato again informing the same and they said that they cannot do anything as the delivery boy is not picking up the phone and asked me to cancel the order. My concerns are: 1. Why was the delivery boy not informed about the address change? 2. Why was incorrect information provided to me that the delivery boy is informed about the address change? 3. If zomato cannot change the delivery address after the order is placed, why was it not informed to me at the same time instead of an hour later? I am extremely unhappy and dissappointed with this instance. Was this information helpful? | |||||
