Zomato — food delivery | |||
Food orders on zomato today by 9:30 pm and the restaurant has handed over the order for delivery to zomato guy by 10:00 pm but the food was not deleiverd even till 11:30 pm. After we contacted the through live chat they are communicating that they have cancelled the order without giving any reasons. Cancellation is not intimated to us until we called back and their cancellation team is giving false allegation s against yhe restaurant that they have cancelled the order. On our response that the restaurant has confirmed the handover of the parcel they changed the reason to non servicable area. Both are pure lie since i ordered from the same restaurant yesterday and they have delivered it. I hav e ordered food for my kid and waiting for 2 hrs without any communication. This is pathetic and they just say pls convey your feedback in live chat and not following any escalation matrix even after repeated request and have just initiated refund of the payment. My kid has to go to sleep hungry as they have cancelled the order after 11:30 and no restaurants are opened and they denied to arrange for any alternate order as well. This is really a pathetic service and looting the customers. Rigid action need to be taken against them and i need a compensation for this agony suffered due to zomato.
