Zomato — food was delivered late and cold in spite of special instructions provided at the time of ordering.

I had placed an order for my mother's birthday dinner and had added specific instructions for the food to be delivered hot. No complaints against the restaurant at all. They were great. It was in fact zomato with the unprofessional agents who repeatedly simply dismissed my concern and complaint in sheer negligence. The order reached more than an hour late leaving my mother hungry who ended up eating stone cold food. I couldn't have asked for a worse experience. All i requested for was the refund which is the least they could do and the maximum i received was an insult and 100rs for the compensation. As though this wasn't enough, after chats being ended on my face with 2 agents, i was finally passed on to david from the "escalation" team who simply offered the same after i made the effort to type out the entire situation to him. Just horrible and negligent. Never expected this from zomato. Never.
