Zomato — need refund from zomato | |||
Dear sir, I'm a regular customer at zomato foodelivery app. Today's incident really shocked me. They intentionally cancelled my online prepaid order and refused to refund my money. I tried to contact them but they have blocked me. Their auto replied (Bot chat) reason is as i was not reachable through phone they have cancelled it and as food has been prepared, it can not be refund. As i was blocked instantly i can not request them to redeliver also. Order id is-[protected]-biriyani and side dishes However, I was fully available on my phone and As soon as i have got the not reachable message from zomato i have contacted the delivery person and He refused to deliver at my location as i was not reachable. This is totally wrong, the snap and notification time and phone signal (Please see the phone time also) will tell you they are just telling a lie. They hardly might be waited for 5min and left for the other place. I have no missed call in my phone also. I have also request him to redeliver but the delivery boy declined. Even if i'm not available via phone they have my full address including floor no with well known landmarks plus their gps help. If he wants to really deliver he can easily ask someone after reaching the place. But he did not. Could you please take stern steps against them and arrange for a refund.
