I have placed order from zomato (order no [protected]
)on 17.06.2022 for which amount Rs 587.90 was paid online.
My delivery address was mentioned correctly in the order.
I received a call from delivery boy who clearly refused to deliver my order citing wrong address.
When I requested him to check that My delivery address is mentioned correctly, he again refused and told that he will talk to company.
After sometime I again got call from zomato, where a lady named MARIAM bluntly refused to deliver my order and said order will be cancelled.
I requested to check that my delivery address on order is correct and to deliver the order ; she refused. She was extremely arrogant and rude.
After all this suffering, I received message that my order is cancelled entire amount is deducted as cancellation charges. I have not canceled my order.
How can zomato cancel my order mentioning address mismatch when my DELIVERY ADRESS IS ABSOLUTELY CORRECT. Also they have deducted entire amount as cancellation charges.
On top of this your virtual assistant is not giving any option to sort this thing out.(attached)
when I complained on [protected]@zomato.com on 17.06.2022, they replied "This mail is for order ID -[protected] from Pizza Hut regarding the order cancellation.
We would like to inform you that if the order gets cancelled due to the wrong delivery address, a cancellation charge is levied as the food is already prepared and dispatched. We have checked on our end that you had asked for delivery to another location, which was not possible for our delivery person. We would further request you to avoid such instances going forward as it leads to food wastage."
Please note that I have not cancelled my order, I have not asked to deliver to any other location. I have asked to deliver to the mentioned address only.
