Zomato — order denied

Hi

This is in regards to my order number [protected] placed yesterday at 10:30 pm. At around 11:30 pm i received a call from zomato rider support informing me that my order cannot be delivered because the delivery boys bike got punctured. We asked him to connect us to the rider and he did. The rider told us stories about his bike getting punctured. Now why i call it stories is because several times when i order late night, riders bikes get punctured so it's either a ghost that's doing it at faridabad or riders are big time cheaters.
The rider support person hung up the call on our face and while we were discussing about going all the way to the rider and collecting our order, we were informed by the rider that our order is canceled. I can't believe zomato can have such inhuman ppl working there. Instead of trying there best on getting the food delivery, they canceled our order that to at that point of time when its really difficult to order from another restaurant. They didn't even feel guilty that we couldn't get our food even after waiting for more than an hour.
We were told that the amount that we paid will get refunded but what about the fact that we are going to sleep hungry? What about the time wasted waiting for food? Isn't zomato responsible for compensation for that? We kept fight for this with the rider support and customer care executives asking them to compensate for that as well but they kept denying. I can't believe people can be so bad.
Zomato and there riders are cheating big time. They do this punctured drama for there last order so that the order gets canceled and they can take our orders to there home.
