Below is the email I have sent to the zomato----
I am contacting you for a very serious concern called theft. I have order food from Sagar Ratna from DLF phase-2 cyber city. I were keep tracking the order and received an SMS after 45 min stating order is cancelled as you did not picked the call. I immediately called back on the number to know the status so the delivery boy talked rudely saying you did not picked the call so company cancelled the order, and asked me to contact to the company. I said I have not received any call. He said I don't know any thing you have to contact to the company. As I have already paid for the food in advance I initiated the chat, On chat the chat executive came to the conclusion with in 5 min that you got 8 calls and you did not picked up the call, your money will not be refunded and given me the email ID to raise the complaint. I know what exactly happened with me,
Zomato delivery agent knows that If he shows that I cancelled the order by saying that customer is not picking the call, I can eat that food and also if restorent get the food back I will get some reimbursement money, however restorent denied to take back the food(I confirmed) so he got the perfect meal for dinner and he knows that customer will keep chatting and can dispute the issue.
Now I need the investigation on this as I am going to file the legal action with all the proofs as I will be discussing this with the telecom company about the how many times I have been called as I have received only one sms however I should have received 8 missed call or any sms stating 8 missed calls.
Other bad news fro the Zamato is if did not got the resolution, One of my friend is in media, So what about escalating it on media, Will it work I don't know, but I am sure You spoiled y dinner I will make sure will do something on this. Was this information helpful? |
