Zomato — order not delivered and cash not refunded | |||||
Food Order Date: Dec 27, 2018 Price of Food ordered: Rs 226 + Rs 10 tips I ordered food from Zomato for my family at my residence. As I was in office I was unable to pick up the call when the delivery person had reached my home. Though I had clearly added my address in the Zomato app the delivery person instead of delivering the food called me twice and since I was unable to attend the call these guys rejected my order. When I called the delivery guy he did not respond and said it is cancelled as you did not pick up the call. When i connected to the customer service they charged me the cancellation fees of the same price that I had booked the food for. I'm unable to understand even though the address is correct why did they keep calling instead of delivering the food to the address. As a resolution I would like the Rs 236 to be refunded from Zomato as it is their faulty service. Attached is the chat record with the customer support as they mentioned the same in chat as well and a copy of the rejected order. Was this information helpful? | |||||
