Zomato — refund not provided after cancellation of order. | |||
By mistake i placed order of wrong food item. So immediately i cancelled the order. Within a minute, order was cancelled still i got to know that refund was not initiated. I complained on zomato chat and by sending an email. But instead of providing refund, i got the reply as per new policy, we can't refund the amount. This is really disappointing. Customers should be aware about the new policies if policies are changed. And it is unfair to charge whole amount as cancellation charges. Before cancellation, zomato should notify user that money will not be refunded if order will be cancelled. So this way, zomato is cheating with customers. I would not have cancelled the order if i was aware about the same. I am going to stop ordering from zomato app. But i want that strict action to be taken on zomato.
