Order No. [protected] which was placed for a 1 chicken bhuna wrap + 1 masala chicken tikka wrap at 1:30pm on payment of Rs. 275.24p was cancelled without reason after more than an hour and the money was forfeited.
The app had the complete address of the place where the food was to be delivered, . According to the chat history, the delivery partner came to the delivery spot but because he could not connect with me on phone, he cancelled the order i.e take the food with him and zomato decided to keep the monies despite the short delivery by the delivery partner.
The moment the message of cancellation was informed, i immediately spoke with the chat online help person but they refused to be of any help. The persons who were on chat were Rukhsaar, Zia, Amit and Sania. Despite repeated requests, Zomatos online persons refused to help as said that once the order is cancelled, the food cannot be delivered and the money will be forfeited.
Now what if i had not paid online for the food, what would they have done? The delivery partner would search heaven and hell and deliver.
Why did the delivery partner fail or refuse to deliver despite having complete address and a known address. The Building is on the main road, the unit number was written and so also complete building name.
This is just a cheating scam.
What took so long for the delvery partner to deliver, he didnt want to deliver. Wanted to cheat me and that is why he took so long.
