So i placed an order through zomato today at around 8:02 pm. The order was confirmed and i even got a text saying that the delivery person is on his way. After around an hour of receiving the on his way text, the order had still not reached to me so i called up the customer care to which a lady executive said he will reach in 10 minutes. After 15 minutes when it didn't reach i called up again and this time another lady executive is like the order is just 1 km away and hung up. After a minute i get a call from zomato saying that the restaurant is facing some issues with some machine, your order hasn't even been prepared yet. I am like wtf! You sent me a confirmation that the delivery guy is on his way, so he is like if you want you can cancel the order and i said i want to talk to your supervisor to which he said he will arrange a call back and hung up. Please note that it had already been 2 since i placed the order. Next thing i am getting is a text message from zomato saying we have initiated the refund and the restaurant declined your order. After 1.5 hours they cancelled the order and please mind it, this was the second incident in a row. Yesterday i took it casually but they literally repeated it again today and didn't bother to give a damn. It's high time some action been taken against these people. Was this information helpful? |
I placed an order on Monday and paid online but the same was cancelled by u guys and the money has not been returned yet pls initiate the same on urgent basis.
