Zomato — zomato cancel a confirmed order after 45 mins

I had placed an order through the zomato app and the order was confirmed and it said that a rider was at the restaurant to pick up my order. But after 45 mins of waiting, a rude customer care representative from zomato calls me to inform me that he’s cancelling my order as it is outside the delivery zone. I have ordered from the same restaurant before to the same address and it’s been delivered with no issues so why the sudden issue now?! And shouldn’t the customer be informed before and not after 45 minutes of waiting for the order. I’m truly disappointed by this!!!
