Zomato — zomato deduct whole amount even after rejected by merchant | |||
I have ordered Punjabi paneer masala(Order No. [protected]) from Om sweets on 21/07/2019. i immediately cancel the order with in a minute of ordering it. I paid RS 250 for this order and Zomato deducted the whole amount as cancellation charges which includes item cost+ delivery charges. I had a long chat with Vijay singh customer care executive and he assured me of full refund after taking the exceptional approval from his senior as a prime customer and he suggested me to drop an email to [protected]@zomato.com. I dropped an email to the same email id and i got the response from Zomato that we cant refund your amount as the food was prepared/dispatched. At the same time I talked to OM sweets manager where i placed the order and he told me sir your order was rejected since the order was cancelled, so we have not prepare your order. How can Zomato entitled to take the full amount with delivering anything? Was this information helpful? | |||
