This entire issue explains over a series of insult and shame faced by me on an order placed in zomato and the order id is [protected]. Please read as this one is sooo shameful and would be interesting
Part 1:
On my order no update was given and the delivery has been marked completed delivered . When I reached the chat support right from 9 pm till 12 am the Chat service agent gave a 23 credits. I was never desperate for their credits . I asked where my food is which I paid for!!
Now comes the real picture of how Zomato treated me as a customer. I asked about my food delivery and you gave 23bucks . What is this ? Did I sound like a beggar to them ? I have paid zomato and it’s their responsibility to render the service for what I have paid for . It’s again I had to follow up asking where is my order and NOONE FROM Zomato TEAM APPRISED ME about the delivery being late. Totally unacceptable!!!
Part 2
As I emailed the management team. About the poor quality I cc’ed the COO of zomato
A team lead called me the next day and apologises and ask my date for a free meal from their side .I did tell him about the poor quality of service and I got the refund.on him compelling for a meal invite I did get compromise on that as part my money got refunded and zomato could have left me as it. Now the second insult comes . The team assured me a lunch today which I never volunteered . I did mention in my last email to them zomato can arrange lunch “if it’s okay”.
So they have sent me a note for the same for today around 1 pm and I had cancelled my personal plans and appointments. Around 12:45 pm today I emailed and asked about the status as usual NO ONE CALLED ME and left me waiting the whole time I sent email twice and then I got an apology call.
Such a shame on zomato as they insulted me over and over in different occasions totally ridiculous and in acceptable which caused me pain and shame and insult
