I have been repeatedly contacting zomato over 'chat service', email, instagram, and even calls to India to follow up on a simple request and query but unfortunately I have not received any valid response or understanding of the matter. I had a 'Gulf News' coupon of AED 100 off on zomato gold membership which I tried many times today to use and get the gold membership but unfortunately the payment didnt get processed. After multiple tries, finally the payment was processed without the coupon being applied and I was debited AED 175 from my account when I could have just paid AED 75 for the same. Please note that the only reason i even applied for a gold membership is because i had the coupon. Now, I face a big issue where none of your representatives seem to be helpful. They are saying that they cannot do anything from their end once the payment is processed. My question is, how does the payment get declined on a smaller amount and get processed when the amount is more than doubled. Please look into this as my entire day has gone in speaking to your representatives who were not at all helpful. This is about customer service and experience.
