[Resolved] Zoom Car — car clutch failure | |||
We booked tata hexa via zoomcar on 8th morning for 15th of march. I went to collect the car from a zoom point and i hardly drove for 300 meters and was not even out of zoom car zone when the clutch failed unexpectedly. I immediately called the zoomcar customer service to inform them about the failure. I asked for a replacement car but they refused to provide me with hexa as they were out of availability for that one. They provided me with a scorpio which was in miserable condition. On 16th they messaged me that i will be charged 10, 000 for the damage, 484 for refueling and without any prior notice they auto debited 10, 000 from my credit card which was totally unacceptable. I called them right away asking for a clarification but they said they will revert in 3 days with the mechanic reports whether it was due to my fault or due to machine failure. Today is the 5th day but they are still asking for 24 hours. This is the first time i booked zoomcar and the experience was beyond worse. Also, the customer service staff are highly unprofessional and rude. Was this information helpful? | |||
