My Brother rented his car on Zoom Car host program. Booking ID JPSN739G8. Booking was from Vadodara Gujarat on 17/6/2022 and it was supposed to end on 18/6/2022. On 18th June, He received call from the customer that they are extending the booking and asked to wait for 2 more days but Car was not returned till 22nd June. So we enquired Zoom car about status of the car. We tried to reach the customer and found out that, the person who booked the car, handed over the car to some other person, which is wrong in first place. On 23rd June, after waiting much, we decided to visit the location where the Car was last located which around 400kms away from Vadodara which took us 6 hrs to reach by road. No Zoom Car executive came with us which I find very irresponsible as it is their duty to keep Host's car safe. When we reached the location, found that it was not there. It was car's last known location. After much investigation with local Police, found that Car has been sold to some person for 3.5 lac INR. We came back to Vadodara and reported this to Police Station in which we gave them names of 2 persons who took our car when booked. We again visited Banaskatha by travelling 6 hrs. with one the person to get the car back but our all efforts were in vain. Even the person we took with us who was involved in this, absconded from there. Now we returned home with No hope to get the car back.
After this much harrasment, Zoom Car didn't even care to call us/ get in touch with us to help in this. We are going through emotional trauma. Zoom car is solely responsible for all this. Was this information helpful? |
