hi m nisha, am using aircel ...aircel proide rs 150/- month unlimited gprs service when i open wap services after 2 sec it show error message packet data connection not available...i have call customer care many time but they not solve my problem and told me that they send my complain to gprs department and they callback in within 24hrs but after 10 days i have not got any callback plz help me...thnks

hi, im arun from jammu. aircel is simply theeeee worst telecom company. few days back i switch over to aircel for unlimited surfing on laptop using its so called new pocket internet option, but they r cheating peoples there servies doesnt work not even on cell phone. and the worst thing is that there customer cell is worst among all other operators, i call may times the aircel customer cell but they are not able to solve my problem. i used airtel n bsnl they r simply the best. even govt. psu bsnl is far better than aircel...

Aircel is slow on pc not on mobile phones.

it depends upon your handset and the browser you are using on your handset.

get yourself opera mini its fast.
windows mobile users can try firefox. Opera mini is available to you too.

how to get aircel gprs connection setting for nokia 5130 model...

i have the send msg requesting for that setting... but a error msg like you model doesnot support... i have asked the same to customer care operator too they also doesnot know the answer for it...

I'm telling this to all the guys who have been using Aircel pocket internet connection. Unlimited browsing per month for just 98. This really sounds great. I really stunned when i hear this plan. And the main advantage we'll get if we use this plan is we can use the third party browsers like opera mini, tea shark, bolt, uc web. So we can connect even wit pc and enjoy the speed. If anybody faces the problem in getting gprs setting from customer care people, all we have to do is maintain our patience. They'll say tat it'll be done in 24 hours. But it never happened. So atleast we wil have to wait for 3 to 4 days. And another one important thing i found out when i browse in this plan is the gprs speed. No one can deny tat Aircel gives tremendous speed for its customers. I'm getting the speed of a kb per ten to thirty seconds. I had been using this gprs service in Airtel, Vodafone. But i never get this much speed lik i get in here. So i called up and asked the gentle customer care people, they said we're offering gprs service at the speed o[censored]pto 40 kbps. I simply laughed and cut the line. My conclusion is if you want to browse at low cost and low speed. You can go ahead.

Aircel is cheating people in the name of pocket internet. TRAI should punish this service provider for this kind of practice.

I am using aircel SIm, mobile no. [protected] with a handset NOkia 7210 Supernova. I can access the gprs but can't install Opera Mini and instructed to conatact the service provider. When i called to aircell they were very non co-operative. Also the speed is ridiculously slow. Their service is disgusting. I will never recommend anybody to go for aircel SIM.

i am using aircel only for pocket internet . my no. is [protected] ..it works very well but i cannot use this service because tower of my mohhalah does not give link & when i switch to another tower again it works very well and i have no more pocket money to change my home to another tower location.

Give me Aircel GPRS Java (.prov) settings for nokia 6233 to make use of opera mini browser. I am from mumbai.

i have nokia 6233 handset and using Aircel SIM card, i’m from mumbai.I have Aircel GPRS active in my handset but i can only browse through inbuilt(default) browser only i cant browser through
operamini, not able to use other JAVA based applications like GMAIL, google earth either.
So i request you plz give me Aircel GPRS proxy settings so that i can browse the internet through
operamini.

Aircel — problem not solved from last 22 days

my sms is not going to a particular number.i have complained to aircel customer care about these but from last 22 days they are telling to wait,2 times complain no they have given to me but still i m facing same problem.my problem is not solved from last 22 days.daily i call customer care they are telling still to wait and last day they told that there senior will call to me but still i m waiting no seniors have call me up.plzzzzzzzzzzzz take some steps against this company

This just seems like a technical glitch. I think you should just visit the nearest Aircel store speak to the technical guys there. This should be resolved in no time….

Dear All,
I accept that after few min. the GPRS is disconnect, but this problem is due to the auto bill display after finish of any call in prepaid. same thing I conplain to the CC here at SHILLONG but still my problem is not solved, if any one know that how to stop the auto display of bill then my problem will solved.
And I don't think any IP is required for configure, because I am using Nokia 5300 my setting is mannual and i am not mention any IP address... If any help required plz mail me.

nokia5130c-2 xpressmusic — non compartibility toGPRS

I bought a unit of the said handset on 7th december, 2009. but to my suprise all effort to get it configured to enable me have access to browse was not succesful. I shall be happy if you can let me know what to do so that i can enjoy the purpose of buying it..
