I am a prepaid subscriber of Airtel in Bangalore. I use Nokia 1616 model. There have been multiple cases of activation of VAS though I have never sent any request for subscription/activation. Actually, SMS sending doesn't work on my phone. Therefore neither I can proactively subscribe nor unsubscribe.

First time when it was activated on my phone (a few months ago) I spoke to their customer care and charges were reversed & service was deactivated. Next time the service was de-activated but charges were not reversed (I was becoming a habitual offender!). This time I cannot even contact them without paying everytime I try to reach them.

Since the last few days I have been receiving film gossip messages. I tried twice today to speak to customer care. Each call was charged but I couldn't speak to anyone. I tried then 155223 as advised at Airtel website. Everytime I tried, it happily read out an error message after I keyed in my language selection.

Is this how Airtel operates now-a-days? Can I expect some sane response from Airtel?

    I have taken Rs 799/- 1mbps unlimited plan in march2011, evry mnth i am paying Rs 1000/- bill for my fixed landline for broadband services. Now my broadband speed is 200-300 kbps and u people are collecting for 1mbps. Now i came to know that airtel broadband is fully cheating the customers. now i wanna withdraw my broadband connection in 24hrs ,if there is any delay in withdrawl i will not be responsible and won't pay the bill.

    it is my humble requst to u that please disconnect my airtel landline no.       I had applied for airtel broadband connection on 12th of august 2011 and agent promised me to set a connection in 3 days .After that i keep calling him after 3 days he did not replied ,rejected my calls and then after 12 days on 24th aug connection established. Then i called on customer care for issue related to my login id and password .I called more than 10 times.I try to get online help but and i didnt get my problem solved .They used to keep me on hold ,disconnect my calls ,don't take calls ,sometimes they say we will send u shortly but i did'nt received yet . It cost me more than 70 rs on my mobile bill still i didnt get my Login id and password on airtel.in from where i can see my data usage. I choose airtel because of good services it provides but i have experience of such worst* services that I dont want to continue with this services.       I want to bring this in notice of all. I made a payment of Rs 1700.00 on 22 of may through Barclays credit card and last date was 24 of may.on 26th Airtel disconnected my connection with the reason that I haven't paid my bills.After confirming from barlays, which shows payment has made, I call customer care and I was treated as I have done a crime and without any reason my sim was barred even I was not able to receive the calls.
      Next day when I called customer care, I was told that your sim has not barred. This was ridicules. I suffered a lot on that night and I want to take this matter in front of TRAI.
      If any one knows how to file a case through TRAI please let me know.
      worst mobile service...i am sorry to say...but this is truth for you guys...i have requested to activate gprs on saturday i.e 24/05/08( send agprs 121)...got reply dat da service will get activated within four hours..saturday and sunday are my off..so i thought instead of going here and there..i will use internet to utilize my time and work out things that i am not able to work in weekdays from my office...contacted 121 at 1400hrs same day..guys say..that its not been activated, they are creating a online request and the service will get activated with in 4 hrs..after 4 hrs i called up again..same reply again..again..again again every 4 hrs..finally on sunday morning at 8 i called up 121...still same answer..i requested them that i need to talk to their team lead or someone from the technical i.e IN deptt or switch..as network is looked after by nokia siemens network...they said..all are busy...systems are down please call at 9..i called up at 9...and found that my calling to the customer care was blocked...i was frustrated at that time...two days have passed and the damn service hasn'nt been activated yet...my whole 2 day off was spoiled just because of your poor service...on monday..i did a sms to 121 (dgprs) and got reply dat service is deactivated...i said ok...now on tuesday i get a sms from 121 that the service is activated..now what the hell would i do for that..i didnt send request and didn't called 121 then how the hell the service got activated...and whats the need for it...all the day i am in office...and at night come to my place..just to take sleep..how would i utilize the service..its useless for me..but its revenue for you guys..coz u r charging 12/15rs per day...

      lastly i woukd like to say that...i will be surrendering my connection very soon...i thought it would be nice to have bharti connection here, as it is looked by NSN.. i was previously working in NSN only...i came here and joined another company...bought airtel hoping that the "express yourself" stuff will work..but it didn't...

      Airtel data card Complaints — shame on airtel part for making itself worst!!!

      i had taken data card of airtell n i used for 1 month, b/w tht thousand of the times they disconnected the connection sayin' some crap of address verification n all tht. Many a times i went to the center n shouted at them n asked to make it proper.

      since all were working at our house we asked them to come after 6 but they couln't come on the time tht we used to say them n do addr verification n they used to ask me to wait though they used not say the proper timing for us... so we coudn't leave our work n wait like an jobless for a week or till they come n do some stupid senseless addr verification(though we had provided passport as proof).

      finally got frustated with the connection n also with the false billing n asked them to disconnect but thy asked me to wait for a period of 3 months to disconnect it. n nw i think its 3 months ... 'm nt sure whether they ll take back my datacard or not... (if any knows about it let me know...)

      suggestion::: PLZ DONT GO FOR AIRTELL DATACARD!!!
      I am having "AIRTEL lifetime prepaid " for the past 3 years. May i know the reson why AIRTEL is giving missed call to my number minimum thrice a day. And charge amounts (from Rs. 1 to 50 in the name of down load and service message) when mobile is not in use. Even though compaint a lot to AIRTEL customer care improper and worst response received and not refunding my money.
      Its really funny...i don't know how to express my sadness.., being one of the topmost telecommunication providers, airtel is the worst..many times i've been complaining regarding the unnecessary calls from airtel, and unnecessary messages.,
      my mom is 60 years old who barely knows how to use a telefone, she uses telephone only to recieve calls and call back if needed, she has been charged daily Rs.5 for some gameplay which she didnt even knew.She was getting some stupid messages saying 'download hotbabes' etc...at the age of 60 is it that hotbabes what she needs?? what a shame on Airtel..i repeatedly called them and only irritated responses were the answer...once they say their server is down and they can't do anthing right now..they will make sure that the problem is solved with in 10 days..2 months passed and no response..each time i call a new person lifts the phone and i've to start the story again...
      INDIA IS RICH ...BUT IT WILL REMAIN POOR AS FAR AS THE LAZYNESS OF THE WORKERS IN COMPANIES AND THE POOR SERVICES PROVIDED BY COMPANIES LIKE AIRTEL..

      Dear sir,
      I got call from airtel for migration my prepaid no to postpaid on 21/2/13. They told me about plan of 149 with various benefits which was 450 min.free around 250 msg free in this plan. I accepted the plan. After that I got a verification call from airtel no. [protected] at around 11:30 am. I agreed for the plan & provide all the information about my documents.after that they sent a person named Anil no. [protected] to collect the documents & security amount of 250 rs they give me a one new sim and said that your no will be convert into a postpaid no within 7 days. After 5 days from this process I got a call from airtel executive no [protected]. He told me that they can't provide me this plan 149 which was told by executive and I accepted one. After that I got a call again from airtel named varun no [protected]. They told me same thing I told him how can you do that with me I am your loyal customer since 3 to 4 year. They ask me about the executive name who told me about the plan I told him that his name was naveen no [protected]. He said that he will call me within 10 to 20 min. But no response. After that made several call to all these no. But no one was answering my call.so plz take some quick action.& tell me what should i do.

        It has taken 4 months for airtel to supply me a new connection and they are still trying..not only did i arrange for the permission to install in my society but also helped them get 12 new connections but alas 7 other people have got connections and not me....

        someone came and installed the phone and later disconnected the same...Have filled 2 different forms with 2 CEF numbers. Have given 2 differnt cheques...How ridiculous can be the sales team of a organization like Airtel!!!!

        I have posted on airtel presense in the past but no luck.....I would have called them a 1000 times....this is so crazy....Even my cheque would have been encashed....should i report this to consumer forum or take this to the court....

        No one is really bothered..I have been talking to the complaints department with Neeru and Pradeep for over 6 weeks but no one seems to be taking the ownership...they enjoy all their leaves for sure...5 minutes is a life time for them...they would arrange a callback which has not come in 57 times they have arranged for one....even the complaint resolution team is a joke..

        I just spoke to some one right now and he said even Sunil Mittal cant get your phone connection activated right now at this hour..as it is he is focusing on SOuth Africa now....

        I have had airtel for 10 years now and have a feeling now that its not worth keeping....I'm going to put these comments on every blog and website I come across.

        i had taken an broadband connection from airtek company in indore on 30/06/2015 and her representative completed all the formality same day all papers or cash amount of rs.500 and assured me established a connection in coming 24hours. But upto today my connetion was done. As per there request i completed all detalissame day but they delay my connection day by day showing different argues and excuses. I had already tell them i want an urgent or emergency for a connection but also they do so.

          Airtel is not providing me the dynamic locking facility for 41229217, I only get false promises and very very good lip service, this problem was to be solved by August 24th, but there is no development on the same, also they have not sent the hard bill copy for the period ended August 25th, may be another trick to collect penalty as people may forget, over all very very poor response from this company.

            I have selected Airtel DTH connection and have paid Rs.2790 through 'Shell Tranource' on 27-Aug-2011, after getting a confirmation Ms.Priti from Airtel, that the installation shall be surely done on Sunday. Accordingly I received an SMS from Airtel with Cust ID [protected] and an acknowledgement of receipt of Payment. I also received an SMS confirmation that an Engineer will be at my house at 13:00 hrs on 28-Aug-2011.

            Since then I had been calling your number [protected] and [protected], but I was frustrated with the kind of replies I got. There were so many confirmations but none were kept. I was at home for 3 continous days waiting for the Airtel engineer. I made several followups but the customer care executives I spoke to had no information about the status, nor could they give me any number to verifiy with. They were also very very ADAMENT.

            The Dish was installed on 06-Sep but the box he brought was non-HD. Again a service failure. I was told that the HD box will be installed on 07-Sep. But again as it was Airtel service, no one turned up. Again after so many calls, the guy came on 08-Sep.

            I had bought this connection under the scheme of Rs.2790/- which included 2 months of free channels. After activation, I was able to view a few channels, but some normal Channels and all HD Channels were locked. I registered a complaint on 09-Sep and I was promised that all channels shall be visible by evening. Once again Airtel's false promises. Now suddenly all the channels are locked and I get an error code of 6 - zero balance. Whereas I should have 2 months free subscription.

            I am seriously feeling cheated, frustrated and angry with this kind of response from AIRTEL. I also asked for my cash back, but some shameless people dont understand the frustration. Till now, 10-Sep evening, I have a non-operations AIRTEL DTH HD stupid good for nothing box.

            I urge people to seriously think of any other DTH Service but Airtel.

              निवेदन यह है की मै अपने नम्बर की काल जनवरी 2012 की निकलवाना चाहता हु जिस के लिए मेने आपके कस्टमर केयर से बात करके 3 अप्रैल को 121 पर पेपर बिल के लिए sms किया मगर जब 24 घंटे बाद भी मेरे पैसे नहीं कटे तो मैंने कम्प्लेंट करवाई फिर मुझे 12 अप्रैल का समय दिया फिर 12 अप्रैल को भी न पेपर बिल मेरे पते पर पंहुचा और न ही पैसे कटे फिर मैंने 198 पे कॉल करके बात की जिसमे मुझे बताया गया की मेरी समस्या का हल हो गया है परन्तु ऐसा नहीं था मुझे कॉल डिटेल नहीं मिली थी फिर बात करने पर मैंने ई-बिल के लिए sms किया जो मात्र 6 घंटे में मिलना था पर sms करते ही मुझे जो sms प्राप्त हुआ उस पर लिखा था की आपका बैलंस पर्याप्त नहीं है जबकि उस समय मेरे मोबाईल में 100 से ऊपर रुपये पड़े थेफिर मैंने 198 पे कम्प्लेंट करवाई जिस में मुझे 20अप्रैल तक का समय दिया गया फिर 20 अप्रैल को भी बैलंस नहीं कटा और नहीं मुझे मेरी मेल पर बिल मिला फिर मैंने शिकायत की तो एक वरिष्ट ग्राहक सेवा अधिकारी ने विशेष निवेदन दर्ज किया जिस में मुझे 48 घंटे का टाइम दिया गया और मात्र 24 घंटे में मुझे कॉल आ गयी और उन जनाब ने ई -बिल निकलवाने का नया प्रोसीजर बताया फिर मैंने वही किया परन्तु उसके बाद भी मुझे sms प्राप्त हुआ उस पर लिखा था की आपका बैलंस पर्याप्त नहीं है जबकि उस समय मेरे मोबाईल में करीब 80से ऊपर रुपये पड़े थे यही प्रक्रिया मै अपने तीनो नम्बर के लिए अजमा चूका हु परन्तु मुझे जनवरी माह का बिल नहीं मिला उसके बाद मै 21 अप्रैल को आंबेडकर चोंक करनाल स्तिथ आपके ऑफिस गया जहा एक महिला ग्राहक सेवा प्रतिनिधि से मेरी बात हुयी उस ने कॉल डिटेल के लिए साफ़ मना कर दिया की आप पुलिस के पास जाओ और वहा से कॉल डिटेल निकलेगी अगर यहाँ से कॉल डिटेल चाहिए तो 1500 रुपये लगेंगे जिस पर मैंने उक्त कर्मचारी से कहा की यह मेरा अधिकार है की मै अपने नम्बरों की कॉल डिटेल लूआप मुझे मना कैसे कर सकती है और अगर 1500 रुपये चाहिए तो मै आपको दे देता हु पर आप 15oo की रसीद मुझे दे दे और उक्त महिला कर्मचारी इस बात से चिड गयी और उन्होंने कहा की अब तो आपको कॉल डिटेल नहीं मिलेगी आप जो चाहे कर ले अब आज सुबह भी मुझे कॉल आई की आप 198 पे कॉल कर ले आपकी समस्या का हल हो जायेगा जो नहीं हुआ आपके ग्राहक सेवा प्रितिनिधि अधिकतर गलत जानकारिय देते है आप ३ अप्रैल से आज तक की रेकॉर्डिंग सुन सकते है

              गोरतलब है की मुझेसर्वोच्च न्यायालय में slp दायर करने के लिए मेरे नम्बरों की कॉल डिटेल की आवश्यकता है उम्मीद है की आप जल्द से जल्द उपरोक्त तीनो नम्बरों की कॉल डिटेल उक्त नम्बरों से किये गए sms की मेल पर उपलब्ध करवा देंगे आपकी अति किरपा होगी
              नोट :अगर यह ई -बिल न उपलब्ध कराया गया तो माननीय सर्वोच्च न्यायालय की केस में मुझे हनी होने पर सरे हर्जे -खर्चे की आपकी कंपनी जिम्मेवार होगी

                I was promised a cal back from the advisor who called me after discussing the matter with their senior but have not received any call. So If you want me to continue the service with Airtel will request you to call as promised and provide proper compensation as your advisor were not only rude but also abused me and used false and unsocial words.

                SO please call me after discussing the matter with your concerned supervisor as I was chased for about Rs13000/- Will require a compensation of about 10% of the amount as I have been harassed a lot.

                Airtel Mobile Service — Receiving Unsocial Message

                I am aged 45 and in my mobile frequent messages are coming as
                " for GIRLFRIENDS AND BOY FRIENDS CALL543216".

                I wanted to inform them to stop sending such messages and hence I called in this number ... and there were only recorded messages coming and I disconnected... The next message was a thanks message in using this service and it was charged Rs. 25/-..

                This is really cheating and this type of messages can put the youth who are studying in colleges in a embrassing situation...

                More over this is not our culture...

                Hence I request AIRTEL to stop this "MAMA BUSINESS"... LET AIRTEL keep their diginity and please stop brokerage on GIRL FRIENDS AND BOYFRIENDS...

                This is a Complain that is even not been able to resolved by Nodal Officer and neither they have curtesy to send a Information that they are working on it.

                Now from here the game starts:

                On 3 July I got a call from MR BRIJ PANDEY with ref to the 1st complain
                38254133 who was very irate and was abusive as well and he adamantly said no
                not said ordered that this is your due amt and you have to pay any how,
                hearing this tone I requested to transfer the call a supervisor for which I was
                ordered that they donot have any senior and he is the most senior person over
                their. I got frustrated as he was geting adamant and rude and then he promtly
                said that he is going to disconnect the call and I have to pay as he is
                ordering for the same.
                Their after MR BRIG PANDEY made a call from his mobile number [protected] and
                went abusive with all MC and BC words saying me a begger.

                Their after I called 198 and logged a complain about the same and my cal was
                attended by Mr Pratik who was a floor supervisor who confirmed that I wouldnot
                face any problem and he would make sure for the same as he has checked the
                details and found that the 2 a/c are no where associate. He logged a complain
                with a ref number 38290221.

                Their after I called again as pratik provided me your number which was nopt
                available on sundays, talked to MR RAKESH KUMAR who confirmed the same a
                logged another complain for the mis behave and the confirmed that every thing
                would get sorted soon. He assuered me as well that no problem would occur any
                more.


                Now, I received a call again from MR AURANGJEB who was working on th complain
                of 2 july ref number 38271449 and confirmed that the 2 number are no where
                associated and compensated with RS100/-. He assured me as well that I would no
                fuher face any problem.

                On 4 July I left early for my office, when I tried to contact that number which
                was with my wife I was not able to contact.

                Called 198 no proper responce call got transferd from 1 person to other till
                the floor manager Jafar who was also of no use.

                I HAVE MAXIMUM CALLS RECORDED WITH ME AS WELL.


                If you can do some thing please do that else Its your wish.

                I had a good image for AIRTEL which is no more as the agent are not tranined
                and they donot know any thing.

                AIRTEL IS A COMPANY, AIRTEL NODAL OFFICER AND APPELLETE ARE OF NO USE.

                WE CAN EXPECT EVEN MORE WORST SERVICE THAN THIS.
                Their was no contact made, an agent from your end called and promised to call back after discussing the matter with their superiors but never did, so AIRTEL IS and All the officers of AIRTEL wil never be able to sort the probelm, The advisor are adamant and rude and they use false languages and abuse the customer by all means. One of the example is MR BRIG PANDEY who caled me from his personal mobile and abused me and used all sorts of the false and unsocial words. This is what AIRTEL can provide.

                TO ALL I WILL SUGGEST BETTER TO USE VODAPHONE Against AIRTEL as their network and and customer service is best as per my experience of last 2 Years.

                Thanks and Hope Again I will be mislead by AIRTEL ADVISORS.

                  I am Joseph John and my airtel digital tv id number is : [protected]

                  I have used this item around 6 months without any failure, after that we are getting these type of errors like
                  " Your inserted card is not a valid airtel view card.." , " Your card is not a valid TV card " etc.
                  I have called 3 times to customer care and they told me remove and reinsert the card and restart the setup box. I have tried and some times it will work. Now this error is getting in every time I switch on the TV.

                  Second time when I called them they told me they changing some settings here and send a message from your reg mobile with content HR. I have done this but not getting any results.

                  Third time I called and I told them I am going to replace with any other DTH service and they told me that your complaint is not registered here you can regiter the complaint here and if there is any problem in the View Card, the card that is inserted at the back side, it should be replaced and it will cost 350/- Rs . I told them ok I will pay the money if it is the problem of the card and registered the complaint.

                  After doing this , there is not getting any response regarding my complaint even after 2 days. So I realized that there is not a perfect complaint system for this airtel digital TV.

                  This complaint will help for the viewers who are planned to take the AIRTEL DIGITAL TV setup box.

                    I had been with the airtel for more then 03 years, but due to negligence in the services and poor commitments, I requested airtel for a disconnection on 13 th July as my prepaid account was expiring on the 25th July (This is well before 07 Days (required as per TRAI Regulations) before the actual date of connection).

                    Also I received the retention call from the Airtel Side, which I denied and asked for proceeding for the disconnection.

                    On the 07th August I received the Bill again which was supposed for asking for payment of the bill again for next billing cycle. Which when enquired the appellate person said that i was "retained" which I denied. And asked for instant closing of the account. Also I as had already migrated to some other ISP, I was not using their internet services, but still they persisted that I was using the internet. And from that movement ahead, I am being harassed for calls/msg/mails for payments.

                    Hence to protect myself Also to have action all the harassment caused by this incident, I had to prepare to file court case.

                    I went to their office and provide a signed letter a notice , which they had to accept, but still, there were no people who were ready to talk with me.

                    On visiting Airtel website, there is supposedly a person that called Surendra Sen who should be the actual appellate authority present as per the documents submitted to TRAI. BUT the appellate team accepts that there is no appellate member called as Surendra Sen. So AIRTEL HAS CHEATED THE TRAI? As it is submitting false personnel's details in its documents?

                    Whenever I call the appellate, I have spoken with nearly all the agents, I ask where can I meet your appellate person as I have to hand over the Notice as required by the Consumer Court directives. but I have never received the reply for the same. The appellate officer says that they have to check for the details in their system. funny?? they sit in the Vega Center swargate...?

                    Also as per the TRAI mandate, it is essential for the customer to easily connect to the appellate officer. YOu can try, and all you will have an IVR, which will leave you only disappointed and clueless. This is a violation of the TRAI guidelines. ( I have recorded the options and my dialogues with the apellate desks, can provide to whomsoever interested).

                    4) Where a legal notice should directed in case of providing Airtel Telemedia consumer protection case?

                    6) Can a meeting be arranged for me to get your signatures for the confirmation of the receipt of the mails? you can contact me for fixing the meeting point...
                    7) Who is Mr. Surendra Sen? What are his contact details ? Why he is not available on the Pune appellate desk? Why such information is provided to TRAI?
                    8) Why there is IVR and many multiple options for calling the Appellate as in Trai, it is stipulated that there should be easy access to the appellate?

                      Hi,

                      I had taken Airtel Broadband connection unlimited package. When the installation guy did the set up, he asked me to subscribe one antivirus which comes free. I had refused to subscribe since i have already antivirus. But the guy convinced me its free so i had clicked on subscribe me. But i saw it has charge Rs 85 monthly. Many a times i had called Airtel Customer Care to raise a complain to unsubscribe me. But always airtel customer care people drops the call. People say that Airtel customer care is the best, but i observed they drops call when ever customer raise any complain. Is there any senior management to resolve Airtel customer service issue??

                        I had recharged my airtel number [protected] with Rs 333 through my Axis internet banking...The bank showed a debit of the said amount whereas no money was credited to my number ..This happened around 0830 hours on 9th sep'11. After lodging a complaint to the customer care i got a message with a reference number CBNRA[protected], but no action has taken place since then.
                        I have recharged through internet banking several times but this was the first time i faced such problem. Please look into the matter as soon as possible.

                          i m facing the problem regarding network connectivity problem from last 4 weeks in Airtel mobile service.I am a prepaid customer of the company.i Have registered my complaint on customer care complaint help line provided by company.they told me my complaint had been filed & will be resolved my network regarding problem Before the 8th of September 2011 but now today 9th September i am filing this complaint against company Because they didn't solved my problem at on the time period provided by their customer care executive & they also has block my numbers for 198 complaint help line although i called there only 2 or 3 time only in a week from my number because executive almost try to disconnect the calls before filing complaint or without any resolution.its not my fault sir they also block my other two numbers for the same help line these are my family members numbers but they call from there numbers only one time in a month after that call they block the number so sir/madam plz take any action against them try to resolve my problem.because one month ago there was no any kind of network problem but now our mobiles are only paying the roll as boxes in our house also in our area.so plz resolve our problem asap.

                            We are suffering from poor telecast since 04.08.2011
                            The picture blinks every 5-10 seconds, only few channales are turning on.
                            Many channels are not appearing on TV screen and error code B001displayed.
                            We have activated economy sports package and only 15 channels are on and
                            that too are blinking as mentioned above.The Airtel dealer Mr.Akhilesh
                            (Dharampeth,nagpur) could not able to recognize the problem for more than 3weeks. Then I contact Mr.Vikram (Marketing Exe-Airtel), he contacted me to Mr.Gulab (Techninal team-Airtel)
                            After contineous follow ups with him the root cause of the complaint was found on 04.09.2011

                            Root Cause : At the time of installation (in the month of March 2011) Cabel Joiner exposed to rain.
                            Remidy: Replacment of abel wire.

                            Installation team came for installation with insufficient amount of length and applied the cabel Joiner.
                            Rs.150 were charged to us though we requested them to come other day with sufficient length of cable.

                            In the meantime Mr.Vikram nad Mr.Gulab committed me that they will recharge my DTH account on or before 05-sep-2011 for the month because of the technical problem not identified after more than one month.
                            Due to this commitment I have not recharged the account.DTH account is disconned & is in negative balance.

                            Now when I am chasing Mr.Gulab he is neither picking up my calls nor responding to SMS.

                            Requesting you for the JUSTICE.

                              myself yogesh dadaram bodke from ulhasnagar having mobile no.[protected].i had an plan of 1 paise per second.then one day i got an sms from airtel saying that i[censored] done recharge of 45 u will get 45 balance for 60 paise per minute,val-30 days . after that they changed my plan now 2 month has gone then only my call rate is 1.2 paise /sec.i m very disappoint with ur service .if i make call to customer care ,they r going to end my call,i want my moey refund which is lost because o[censored] as well as want change my plan to 1 paise/sec other i will close ur service as well as will take some legal action against airtel.my e mail id is [protected]@yahoo.com.reply me as soon as possible

[protected]. i had talked to customer care about night pack they had suggested for RC 23 in that you will get 1 Rs for 20 mints in night after 11 but then to they are charging me same rates i am nt getting benefits of night pace so i talked to customer they didn't refund my amt to main balance and the blocked my mobile so i can not contact them before that i had charged also Rs 16 but they replied to that your pack has been finished please help me.

                              airtel are showing that night plan but they dont provide and benefit to some customer. they digests money of some customers. they cant give services how they recharge successfully

A company engineer visited my home 3 days back and told that set top box needs to be replaced and assured to replace it the next day but nobody turned up since then. I have been lodging complaint with Airtel customer care daily and each time assurance is given that the problem will be resolved withih 24 hrs., but there is no response afterwards.                                     On 7 Sept at 9:51 PM i have recharged my Airtel number number with Rs 200 and Airtel has not given any talk time. recharge was Successful. When called Customer service, they said it's a Pack recharge and i will not get the talk time for this Rs 200.
                                    It is something 3G pack and even my phone is not 3G compatible. This is a new way of cheating the customer, i am not going to use this pack and i want this recharge to get converted in the talk time. I spoke with CC but no resolution given.
                                    Can you believe Rs 200 is just flat recharge which every one does and how you'll feel if you'll not receive any talk time for that.

                                    this is to inform you that you customer service only apologize but never give any resolution. They twice send the same copy paste email to my that they will convert it to talk time as this is a pack.
                                    I just don't understand if you change anything to a flat rate plan why you don't inform the customer.

This is ridiculous that you can't provide talk time for the amount Rs 200, which is a flat recharge plan for almost all of the operator. Even i have recharge so many time on this number to get talk time.

                                      I have purchased Airtel Digital TV on 28th of August 2011 and my customer id is [protected] .
                                      But i realized the big mistake i made by choosing such a irresponsible company as DTH service provider.
                                      I have following concerns:
                                      1. Some time some channels shows the Connection lost screen (Error Code B0001).
                                      2. In rain as well in drizzling it does not respond and hangs.
                                      3. Whenever I called customer care they give me same stupid solutions :

                                      * Restart your set top box.
                                      * Unplug your cable and reconnect.
                                      * Remove any obstacle in front of Dish.


                                      Really a very bad DTH service provider.I suggest never buy Airtel Digital TV.

                                      Airtel — unable to get through their c.service no.

                                      I applied for thier internet sevices on my mobile no.[protected]. on 22-10-07 for a monthly rental of 399.I got an sms confirming that the service has been started on same day and i need to get settings done on my phone to use the service.
                                      Since then i am unable to get through ur customer service no.Ive tried several times but every time the automated system says that a representative will attend you,it gets disconnected.
                                      I am so irritated by this whole situation that i ve decided that i dont want to take your internet services and even considering cancelling your no.
                                      pl get back to me asap as my next step will be complaining to the consumer forum.

                                      3. Experienced in harassing customer so he never call back to them
                                      4. Law & Rule makers : every executive will tell u his own rules and regulations
                                      5. Specially trained for harassing pre paid customer
                                      6. Lack of knowledge about schemes and are last to check them on system
                                      7. Seniors are trained to defend juniors executives instead of solving problem of customer

                                      I am writing u this letter after trying by best with ur customer care executives and loosing my whole trust in ur customer care services and executives.                                       I had activated a scheme on my no on 14 or 15 june 2007 for rs 500 to 550 I don’t remember exact figure in this schme I got 15000 local sms free for one year and my call rates reduced to airtel to airtel .30p other mobile .49p and landline re1 for 1 year

                                      In end of august 2007 I noticed im being charged .49p airtel to airtel instead of .30p. I call ur customer care they told be its technical fault and will be restore in 4 days and they refunded money which was charged excess
                                      Issue
                                      But in month of febraury2008 I again noticed im again charged .49 p instead of .30p and I don’t know from how long I being charged .49p. so I called ur customer care ur executive told me ur lying ur never being charged .30p always charged .49p for A2A from day one I talk to many customer care and they didn’t solve my problem

                                      I have subscribed yahoo zone in month of January and I unsubscribed in feburary and it shows me on my mobile that it is unsubscribed.
                                      But I was surpriced whenon 02.03.2008 Rs30 deducted from my account and i got message for subscribing yahoo zone which I didn’t .
                                      I call customer care of prepaid there executives talk rubbish .
                                      Than I called gprs customer care on 4.3.2008 talked to Parminder she told me its charged by mistake as it is not unsubscribed due to technical fault it will be refunded and she said im unsubscrbing from my end
                                      but suddenly she said she cant refund the money I ask her either provide me service or refund me money she said both r not possibles
                                      Now thigs is I have paid for march month and I even cant use servise for month due to fault o[censored]r executive
                                      Than I ask her to make me talk to her senior
                                      And that senior comes like her lawyer guardian defending her mistake instead of helping me named as Renu. She said its my mistake not her executive mistake sorry I cant do anything. I was surpricedddd




                                      These 2 incidence shaked my trust in airtel and ur servicesss . what happen don’t matters to me now as it already burned my blood energy ,time and money I m just writing to make this incidence to come in eyes of top officials this kind of behaviour with customer will effect reputation of company in long termmmm

                                      Airtel — Horriable Customer Care Service and Customer Care people too

                                      I requested for a broadband connection 7 days ago and till now have not received any call or executive at my place, though AIRTEL says maximum service time is 48 hours.
                                      Calling on daily basis and getting reference numbers again & again. I called 5 minutes back again and had a talk with Amit. He didn't able to resolve my issue as don't know anything about Airtel Services and what to do (Such a pathetic way of talking and NO knowledge).
                                      To have a Airtel BroadBand Connection, he was asking me Airtel landline number (which i don't have) and said "WITHOUT TELLING ME YOUR AIRTEL LANDLINE NUMBER I CAN'T HELP YOU (Knowing that i don't have Airtel landline connection)" although, itold him my Prepaid Airtel Number and 4 Reference numbers. Finally he disconnected my call.

                                      Digital Eye Services. — VODA FONE CHEATED BY CHANGING THE PACKAGE

                                      My name is R.V.Swamy, Iam running a LG electronics service center in VisakhaPatnam. I Have taken 17 connections from VODAFONE in Rs.199/- LG TALK, They have activated the all connections in the same package only, But suddenly they have sent me a SMS saying that, PAckage has been changed from 199/- to 249/-. I did not requested them to replace the package.

                                      I Have sent 3 mails also to customer care, every time only auto generated message will come but, nobody responding to my complaint from past 15 days.

                                      Now they have bill also in 249/- package. Call center people telling they can not do any thing, Customer has to contact mail only, But no reply through mail.

                                      PLs look in to this matter & Pls help me.

                                      I am the first customer of Airtel Digital TV in my locality, was proud to here that indeed.
                                      But i realised the big mistake i made by choosing such a irresponsible company as DTH service provider. The installation was left midway by the service engineers, you dont get connected to the call centre nums unless u have n airtel phone(which was not told while taking the connection), even if you call the Pune call centre hold on the line for min 15 mins slapping your phone bills & the worst the executive will disconnect your call if he/she does not has the efficiency to solve your problem.
                                      The interactive service don't get downloaded properly, & if it does your complete system gets hanged up all of a sudden forcing you to restart the same.
                                      I had taken the connection on 15/OCT/2008, the a/c information is still not updated till date on my TV. God knows what happened to the amount of Rs 3, 500/- i paid & how long would airtel provide the service.
                                      I tried mailing the customer care dept -- [protected]@airtel.in, giving them reminders every second day, but in vein i get only a auto-generated- response, whcih means Airtel is very well in reciept of all the mails, i am still waiting for the reply.
                                      I am also having a Tata Sky connection since a long time, but have not faced any such issues with them, atleast they are eager to hear what their customer has to say.

                                      My strong advice is NEVER GO IN FOR AIRTEL DIGITAL TV, UNLESS U HAVE THE ELIGIBILITY TO BRIBE A HIGH GRADE OFFICER, WHO CAN HELP U SORT OUT THE WORST WELCOME TROUBLES U WILL FACE AS A CUSTOMER.

                                      I had recharged my account with 2000 and 300 rupees on[protected] but today i came to know that the money has not been credited to my above mentioned id . it has been credited to my other id that is not activated that id has contact no [protected].

                                      How can you credited my money to other account and because of this, you had stopped the services of the id-[protected].

                                      Please resole this issue at the earliest possible and resume the services immediately.

                                      I am planning to take one more connection on my name but if you are creating problem than i will have to think twice.

                                      I sold life time package of dishtv but before a week i got a problem while on the tv display of the tv screen will be " please call the customer care " . I called customer care they tell that you want to renewal the package but my package their is no renewal product date in the only aristek is their. My vcc number is[protected]

                                      Dish TV — The Worst Customer Care Service I have Ever Seen of DISH TV and his Technicians.

                                      I purchased DISH TV in June, 08. From Sep, 08 my DISH TV stopped receiving channels. On making complaint, the technicians said that it needs re-allignment and demanded Rs.600/-(out of the way). When I wrote to the customer care service they said thata your product is in gaurntee period hence no payment is required. After making so many complaints to the customer care service on e-mail, the techs. re-installed antenna and charged rs 300/ from me but still there was no receiption of channels. Then after paying rs. 325+25 through ITZ Card we were able to see some channels. When i made complaint again that i am not receiving Star Plus, Star One etc. once again iall the channels were stopped. I have never seen such a worst customer care service. Now Dish Antenna and Set Top Box are lying as SHOW PIECES IN MY HOUSE
                                      my set does'nt work properly.

                                      The outgoing and incoming calls were barred for number. I paid my bill on staurday and was promised that the services will revert in next 4 hours and THEY WERE NOT.
                                      Next day was a sunday and it was OFF. Monday I called up customer care and SMITA assured me for services in next 4 hours.
                                      Tuesday was again holiday...Wednesday I called up in morning and was asked to wait for 1 hour by AMIT, result was same and I had to call again and was then promised by NILESH that within 2 hours all my services will be reverted.
                                      I had to call again after that time period, this time it was NILESH again and asks fo two hours.

                                      Until now, I have been quite and polite enough with AIRTEL and I cannot do anything more than just pleading the customer care executives.

                                      Airtel — False Statement by Customer Care Executive

                                      In order to deactivate a package that gives cricket scores on my mobile, I contacted the customer care. I was informed that the package would be deactivated on 12th December 2008 at 17:00 hrs. It is 16th December today and I am registering this complaint at 19:00 hrs. That package has cost me Rs.15 since then.

                                      I work in a company called Vodafone and do understand matters send through this media works really well and hence I am writing to you. Hope someone will read the mail and take some action.

                                      I went to this Store in Patna (Aditya Vision) to buy a Airtel Digital TV on 24th October with my family on eve of Dhantaras. The Airtel representative explained me about the available subscription packages and I choosed one he explained to me Economy = Value + 35 channels. As per him the annual charge for the same subscription was Rs. 2000/- and I would have to pay for anything extra that I want. But little did I know I am committing a crime that I will have to pay my peace with. Thereafter started my wooes and ironies with Airtel.

                                      I was asked to call a tollfree number to get the set installed. Same night I called up the tollfree number and they told me that they will send someone to install the set. Next day two persons from Airtel visited my home and installed the set. But due to some problem they couldn't install it properly and went back promising to visit next day again. Before leaving they gave me the shock of my life. They told me that the 2000/- that I have paid is only for the default 65 channels which didn't include my favorite channels Zee, Star Plus, Sahara One, Imagine, Aaj Tak, Zee News, O TV, ETV Oriya, Movie Channels & iNet. When I told them that I was told by the distributor that I will be getting these facilities, they told me that the same distributor has sold several sets promising false commitments to Customers. I got in touch with Airtel peoples and explained how I was cheated and requested them either to take back the handset or compensate me by giving the channels I was promised to. Local airtel officials promised me that they will look into the matter. Though more than 80 days has passed since then nothing has been done till now.

                                      Infact, I am getting a no signal message which has been taken by deaf ears by local airtel peoples.

                                      On 25th when the Airtel staffs left my home after installing my set, asked me to call tollfree number to recharge the voucher as the system was not working in my set top box. I called up Tollfree and recharged my account as per the instruction i received from them. But local Airtel people are saying that my account has not been recharged. Now I have simply a set top box which is simply consuming space in my home without serving any purpose thereof.

                                      I had a lot of faith on Airtel Digital TV seeing all those ads and also after using the Airtel Connection I have been using from Airtel since last two years. Infact, even after starting of Vodafone Service in Bihar, I haven't disconnected the Corporate Connection of Airtel. Hope someone will read this mail and try atleast to resolve my wooes.

                                      Also if someone is listening, would like to understand the escalation matrix for logging a call for any issues.

                                      Airtel Digital TV — Digital TV Installation

                                      Samsung, India was running a promotional offer. Anyone that buys a samsung LCD or Plasma TV was eligible for a 5 Month Free AIRTEL DIGITAL TV. I had to wait for atleast 3 weeks before the retailer gave me a coupon code. I have been calling AIRTEL on a toll free number to book an appointment for them to come install the Digital TV.

                                      I had called them atleast 4 times and they ask me to call them back after an Hour, since their IVR syatem ( Guess this is their system to generate a work order) is not working. I managed to speak to their manager once and they took my PIN # on the coupon and said they will feed it when the system becomes available and SMS me the details on my mobile phone. That has not happened even after 4-5 calls.

                                      I wonder how irresponsible they could be and have a customer call them everyday to hear the same thing. Talk about customer service huh!! Their tag line .."Come home to the Magic"..means, you can buy our services, but we don't install the service.

                                      I have seen myself how a big brand like Airtel has pathetic customer response when they call me hundred times to update my address records for my mobile connection. Only after i have threatedned to cancell all corporate connections for my office, did they stop calling

                                      Airtel — complaint not taken care of for past 6 months, unreasonable disconnection of services

                                      A tariff plan change was requested by me in August 2008 which was not taken care of. Subsequent bills calculated as per the wrong tariff plan (hence more than what i was liable to pay). No corrective action taken even after repaeated communication with the customer care. Matter continued till january when all dues where cleared. Irrespective of that, the services were disconnected from the phone on the same day. Services have not been restored even after repeated communication with customer care.

                                      This is the height to which such hypocritical companies like Airtel play with the customer's time and test their patience. Where there should have been no problem at all, the matter has forced me to lodge a complaint against the company. Its high time they learnt a lesson.

                                      I subscribed to Airtel Digital TV on 2nd of March. At the time of subscribtion I was promised a whole lot channels and the same was confirmed in writing by Airtel.

                                      After subscribtion, the promised are not viewable, I have raised this issue with Airtel Customer Service but of no use. Evry time I call them they just have a standard answer " We are looking into it".

                                      My request for escalation of issue was bluntly refused by customer service executive. Mails to [protected]@airtel.in has not fetched any response.

                                      Its been almost a month ann there is absolutely no progress on this.


                                      Im surprised by the so called professional of this company who doesnt even bother to reply to their customers mail and have such an arrogant and insensitive customer service executives.

                                      On 26 March, 2009, I made 3 recharges in the order, Rs 40, Trans ID[protected]; Rs 31, Trans ID 78536088; and Rs 20,[protected]. At that time, I did not know that Rs 20 easy recharge does not exist. I made the Rs 40 recharge first, and I got the message of it first with the Trans ID[protected] and last I made the Rs 20. So when nothing was happening, I called the customer care and registered my complaint. They said me that I did not do the Rs 40 recharge, when i said the ID they said, they had a mistake there and then they said that i made the Rs 20 first, so i have the Rs 20 activated on my mobile. Then they said that, when u do 2 recharges for reducing the call rates at the same time, only 1 goes through. I said to them that it was my fault and I don't want the Rs 20 and change me to the Rs 40, they said "OK" and they said its done and i was changed to the Rs 40 plan, but there there was nothing done. I thought may be they need some, then I called them the next day, it is hell to get get through them, took at least 10 minutes to get to an executive. I have to tell all my complaints once again. They put me in line for almost 15 minutes. After that, I got a reply that they need 24 hours...

                                      Today is April 4, 9 days after I registered my complaint, till now I haven't had it resolved. I called then on 4 different days. Each and every time they said, I will get it resolved in 24 hours and they are sorry. Last time, when I checked with them, I got a reply called "I[censored] have any complaints, go to your nearest office". Then why these companies made these so called Customer Care Executives. I lost almost Rs 60 that day. Who will pay for it and who will pay for the time I lost, spending hours to get through to then

                                      What should people like us do?

                                      I am using airtel prepaid card since last 1 year. Whenever I need to talk with customer care executive, they are not transfering. Just at the moment when call is to be transfered, call is rejected & beyond this a lady thanks me for calling ( Already recorded voice ). From past 3-4 days I am trying to talk with customer care executive, but they are literally ignoring.

                                      I am the first customer of Airtel Digital TV in my locality, was proud to here that indeed.
                                      But i realised the big mistake i made by choosing such a irresponsible company as DTH service provider. The installation was left midway by the service engineers, even if you call the Pune call centre hold on the line for min 15 mins slapping your phone bills & the worst the executive will disconnect your call if he/she does not has the efficiency to solve your problem.

                                      I tried mailing the customer care dept -- [protected]@airtel.in, giving them reminders every second day, but in vein i get only a auto-generated- response, whcih means Airtel is very well in reciept of all the mails, i am still waiting for the reply.

                                      I am also having a Tata Sky connection since a long time, but have not faced any such issues with them, atleast they are eager to hear what their customer has to say.

                                      My strong advice is NEVER GO IN FOR AIRTEL DIGITAL TV, UNLESS U HAVE THE ELIGIBILITY TO BRIBE A HIGH GRADE OFFICER, WHO CAN HELP U SORT OUT THE WORST WELCOME TROUBLES U WILL FACE AS A CUSTOMER.

                                      Airtel — Amount charged for No service received

                                      I have been approached for a telephone and broadband connection at my residence 38 C B Pocket Dilshad garden and I have paid the applicable charges of INR 649 (Bill No-581431 and I have my bank statement showing the charges are cleared )and same has been debited to my account on 15th April approx.
                                      Because they need to dig the premises to plant the cable i have disagreement over the issue of digging and hence I denied the request of connection to the sales agent Mr. Amit Kumar Tripathy (Air tel Sales in charge of Dilshad Garden) and since then my money is stuck and no communication from air tel end to reverse the amount.
                                      Also when i contacted Amit Kumar Tripathy the sales in charge he responded that the amount will be reversed in on week later when i contacted he very abruptly answered to contact customer care. Since the connection was not provided hence Airtel shouldn't debit money initially also if debited they should have reversed immediately.
                                      I need resolution as well as compensation for all inconvenience faced.

                                      I am sugumar from chennai, I have taken a digital tv from airtel last year Nov.08 Customer ID [protected] for past two days Iam not watching any programmes on my digital tv because of my set top box is not working, I spoke several times in this regard to thier executives Mr.Kingsley, Mr.Karthik and some more, finally they gave the complaint no.734831 dated 28.5.09 but till the moment nobody has come to my house and rectify the problem.I wasted my time to speak with this executives even they are taking minimum of 20 to 25 minutes and they are asking to hold the line

                                      For many years I have been using Airtel connection & for many years I have been complaining about the network problems. It’s been observed that unfortunately there has been no solid action on the customer complaints.

                                      There are several issues with Airtel network

                                      1) Network Problem ( Connectivity)

                                      2) Voice break or no voice.

                                      3) Call drops. (If one call is coming while ongoing call. The ongoing call gets cut)

                                      · Billing needs to be investigated.

                                      It’s unfortunate that there are no calls from the company for the service issues. The customer service has been a major & regular issue.


                                      At times the customer care unit people are unable to provide solutions or they possess a lack of knowledge about the systems.

                                      As I have been suggested; I have got my SIM card changed more over I have changed my handset instruments as well but AIR TEL problems are still the same.

                                      Request to kindly look in the matter. The action taken to fix the problem would be appreciated.

                                      I didnt plan to buy to airtel digital tv.But it came along with my TV.. but when i started using it i realised that i shld'nt have taken that...Its such a sad company..irresposible..I tried 3 days continiously (dnt know how many times) to get in touch with customer care but no luck.I went to airtel relationship center.But they r ready to sale digital tv but not at all ready to help u.. Even they r not ready to give you any other number apart from the one which is mentioned in website..Everytime i tried to go for a top up all of my channels were blocked more than 4 hours whereas they say it'll take only 45 mins.. Its a rubbish...And probably noone can beat the level of poor service...I hav also used Tata Sky..Its cool... My advise is please please please DO NOT BUY AIRTEL DIGITAL TV even it comes FREE OF COST.

                                      Dont buy BIG TV connection if you have any plan to opt DTH connection. We are suffering a lot with this service and very very very very very very very very very very very poorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr customer care serivice.Initially setup box software was not update properly and we had to follow up with them to rectify this issue for more than 10 days.After that when we try to recharge the channels the amount are not getting added into our account and still we are follwoing up with them.                                       I bought Airtel digital TV ultra pack from dealer in bangalore. Paid full Rs 2500 with 3 months subscription free for the same on 4th June. Activation happened only on 7th June. Reason given was wrong pin code given by dealer earlier. Due to this they generated two cutomer ID for me [protected] on 4th june and [protected] on 7th June. On 12th June my service went down I was not able to receive any channels. I called up customer care and they said your account is not recharged and needs to be rechaged for Rs 750/-. I called up dealer on same day dealer did the recharge on same day amd asked me to wait for 1 day. Next day also my service didn't resumed. I called up again to customer care and they said it's been recharged by dealer to old ID and need to transfer it to new ID and it will take another 2 days. Dealer also raised the complaint for the same. Till date my service is not resumed and calling cuatomer care is not helping atall.

                                      It's a situation were I have paid full amount but not able to view any channels almost for a month now.

                                      I have decided to go to consumer court now. Lets see what happens. But urge all those willing to take Airtel connection to think twice before they go for it.

                                      I deposited Rs.2600 in cash on 25.03.2008 for the above connection, which was initiated on 28.03.2009. The deposited amount is valid for one full year. But, after 3 months, I received one SMS stating negative balance and asked to deposit @Rs.11 for "ZeeBangla" channel, which was included in the Pac free for first 3 months only. Now, as per their demand I recharged Rs.50 on Jun, 2009. But, they withdrew the channel from today. I want to restore the channel "ZeeBangla" immediately.

                                      I have faced a severe problem while recharging my account via credit card, many times I have tried it and after entering the amount >200/- It is redirecting me to customer care. I have faced the same problem via airtel website also for recharge.

                                      Then I got a scrap cards then recharged. The requests which is raised by the customer care is NOT closed properly.

                                      Even after recharging my account for Rs. 400/- I got shocked that I'm unable to see any channels, I called twice/thrice to customer care and they raised an complaint:850102 they told that your problem wil be resolved within two working days. After two working days the problem is still not resolved.

                                      Again, called customer care twice and did all the troubleshooting steps what they asked me to do.

                                      I GOT SHOCKED THAT MY EXISTING COMPLAINT (850102) HAS BEEN CANCELLED GIVEN JUSTIFICATION THE COMPLAINT IS NOT TRUE!! I'm still facing problem and I don't know what to do with this worst service and what to do further!!

                                      Airtel Digital TV — Signal Loss In Rainy days

                                      I have an airtel digital tv connection. its work weel but in rainy days i cant watch my tv bcoz it says signal loss.
                                      I'm using Airtel digital TV and have not faced any problems as mentioned above. I got propmt service rite fro the instalation. I'm surpised regrd the 1st complaints how on earth does his phone bills rise when they have a toll-free no. to be reached at. I always use that no and never had to wait for long. My brother uses Tata Sky...and he is not satisfied with their cust service.

                                      Also the interface and problems arising due to heavy rains, AIRTEL is far much better bcos of the size of the dish hich is bigger than any other DTH providers.

                                      So, guys, trust me, AIRTEL DIGITAL is the BEST so far i experienced.
                                      Only if it is raining heavily, only then you wud lose the signal bcos it is directly intercepted via satelite. I too have airtel DIGITAL, but this is still better than other DTH providers as they wud face this problem even if it rains normaly. The size of the dish for airtel is biger than others.

                                      AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — Service default

                                      I do regular trading in stock market, and I have to keep continues watch on the market, and almost making 10000 to 20000 profit or loss on daily basis.

                                      I have taken this connection ( Customer ID [protected]) 6 months back, assuring me for a full service for the time period. until 6 months I did not have any Problem in the Connection. Once this period was over, it started giving problem. with in a last 5 days, Airtel Set top box has lost the signal twice. I had called up the Customer care executive and logged a complaint, one the fist occasion the engineer came in and provided his service and charged us for Rs300, apart from the regular charges of Rs 100

                                      On the second occasion, today (6th Aug) I had called the customer care executive, informing the lost of signal again, within a time frame of 5 days. I was informed that I would be charged Rs 100 by the Engineer on his visit.since, Our warranty period of 181 days is complete. whereas I can see that there is only a signal lost, and upto my knowledge there can not be any warranty on the services but only on the product. and Signal to the settop box is only the service for which we are paying to Airtel.

                                      I usually sleep by 11 PM, but due to the mental stress given by the customer care executives I am forcefully logging a complaint to the consumer complaints.in expecting a better service to the consumers like me.

                                      Airtel — Bad Customer Service and Failed to provide DTH Service on the due date

                                      I called Airtel service to subscribe for DTH service and I was directed to Aman Telecom (Airtel DTH Distributor) on 6 Aug 09.I paid the an amount of 2500 and serial number [protected] was provided to with a promise of installation on 9/Aug/09 and when I called the distributor (Aman Telecom) I was given a run around.

                                      Looking at the poor service I called Airtel customer and asked for a refund and gthey asked to me speak to the distributor, to which I said that i jusy want the money back and I am not interested in th service.

                                      Hi, I was having the same problem but mostly i am doing my servicing. Signal problem is mostly from outside antenna. From menu->settings-> signal is there or something like that. I am opening the signal strength menu and going up. both the signal strength should be more than 80%. From antenna i am moving it and trying to find best signal. When i find it i am fixing it properly. Due to rain, wind sometimes it is moving, so no need to pay them. We can do that our self. Just an advice..

                                      I purchased a samsung lcd tv on 14th august they gave a airtel dth service coupan after return home I dialed the airtel dth agent he was not giving proper answer and then he came on 18th august and fixed dth even after 36 hours they were not activate the number . I dailed to them nearly 30 calls mr. gopi one of the person is not giving proper answer so please take immediate action and activate my airtel dth

                                      I am alagesan i am using 4 year airtel connection initally i am postpaid customer they are charging hidden charges coming my bill and now 2 year back i changed prepaid connection the same number now 6 month back i want miss call alert facility they are activated but they are proving the service i am asking so much of time customer care offcier they given complaint number and no response they given time period but not respond and they cancelled the miss call service and they are retrrun my charge,and every month they are taking the charges for miss call what they are doing i am really angree with airtel ..

                                      i got the connection and registered with the customer care and was alloted CID[protected] and was promised that the installation will be done on 25th of Sept. on 26th when the installation was not done i contacted Customer Care and was told that the same will be installed on 27th by 10A.M positively at 12.30 P.M. contacted them and my complaint was lodged and Comp. no. 1122489 was given and i was promised that the installation will be done by 5 p.m. 8.30 p.m. the same is still not installed and i am not getting any response from the Supervisor who is either out or too busy to talk to the small customers.

                                      Please take up the matter and please enquire about the delay.

                                      Airtel Digi Tv — Why is customer care disconnecting my calls

                                      My calls for re installation havent been attended for the last one week
                                      A new complaint no & time is given every time I call.




                                      For the last one hour your call centre executives are pretending that lines are not clear.
                                      So with a phoney accent they start saying HELLO HELLO and disconnect my call.
                                      Chandni,Ravi etc etc whatever psuedo names they call themselves....


                                      Incase Airtel is too busy they should let me know the same.... and incase service cannot be provided why not refund the money that you are sitting on??

                                      Hope your South African customers will be more understanding than we are in India.

After some time some channels like ZOOM, 9XM, Bindass Movies, NDTV India, Star News and so many which are in package are not coming.....I have made several calls to Customer Care, local distributor even service engineer but nothing is heard till date......

                                      Airtel digi tv should be banned in INDIA

                                      Airtel Digital TV — Defective Reception/Broken Images Sound

                                      I subscribed to Airtel Digital Tv and it was installed on 04/07/09 and after a week the reception detoriated. Since then i have been calling the service center.
                                      Watching TV is like watching an old scratched CD. Numerous phone calls to Service center @[protected] yield no result. I have to repeat my Consumer No. /Address/Date of installation/Previous dates of call /verify my email/land line-Cell no. and then told to wait while they seacrh for a solution. After 10 mins. the line gets cut off and i have to repeat the process again. One helpful soul told me to open the set top box, clean the card, check the wiring and to report back. unfortunately, the same person never picks up the phone again and the person is invariably busy elsewhere. They even refused to Register or give me a complain No for reference. I have also emailed my complain but no reaction.

                                      I Purchased LCD TV of Samsung from retail outlet of “NEXT” At Howrah with AIRTEL Digital TV. Connection with 3 months free Scheme On[protected]. I was given my Customer ID as [protected] with my Regd. Mobile no. [protected]/[protected]. I wanted to view all channels, hence I approached “Next” Showroom on[protected] at 10.30 am . They advised me to purchase Recharge-Voucher; accordingly they recharged for worth Rs. 500/- and asked me to wait for 1 hour to view all the Channels

                                      Sorry to inform you that till time there is no connection. In the mean time, I contacted all the AIRTEL service centre /customer care nos./the dealer, and I found that there is no response from anyone and I found the most worst & hapless services are provided by them in the name of AIRTEL Digital TV. I hope that you are responsible person who can solve my problem without disturbing me anymore.

I had recharged my account on 30 september 2009 and yet we did not receive any confirmation about it and later we come to know that you had credited someone else's account with our amount... Our complaint no is 1193651 this complaint was lodged on 10 october 2009.

                                      AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — Not working for 20 days!

                                      I got Digital TV installed on 3-9-09 vide Customer ID[protected], STB ID[protected] View Card No[protected].

                                      It functioned till 9th when I had to leave Chennai on work.

                                      After my return when I switched on the STB on 24th Sep, I started receiving Error Code 2 stating that the View Card is not an Airtel Cad or it may not be inserted properly! (But it was the original Airtel Card and I had not touched it!)

                                      I complained to the Customer Care through[protected]. After a few hours the worked for some time and again started showing the same error message.

                                      Thereafter started my tales of woe and frustration. I have made 28 calls so far. But the problem remains unsolved.

                                      It is evident that the STB / View Card are defective and need to be replaced, as it can work for only a few minutes in every 24 hours!

                                      I call the customer care everyday. Everyday I am promised that the problem will be solved the next day. But it has so far not been solved.

                                      I am given each time a new deadline and I am forced to stay at home hoping somebody will call or visit to replace the defective equipment. But nothing happens. When I call and complain I am given a new date and time. This has been going on for close to 20 days now.

                                      In this period I have spoken to so many customer care call centre people (Vikas, Roopa, Radheshyam, Edison, Vanmathi, Mahesh and so on.) Two people claiming to be some kind of supervisors also spoke to me. Mr Kabir promised that an engineer would come at 13-00 hrs on 10th; of course, nobody called or came. A similar promise had been made by Mr Edison (solving by 1600 hrs on 10th), Vanmathi (solving by 15 hrs on 12th), Mahesh (solving by 13 hrs on 13th), Sonia D'Sousa (withing 45 minutes, ie 15-45 hrs on 12th) and so on.

                                      But nothing happens!

                                      From the website, I find that Airtel provides very poor customer care services. So many people have complaints.

                                      Once and for all, can somebody in Airtel management tell me whether Airtel has any intention of solving the problem, and by what date?

                                      I have made 28 calls in all, spent over 400 minutes talking to Call Centre guys and not watched any TV for which I have paid.

                                      Will someone wake up?

                                      this is to inform all those who are planning to have airtel digital t.v. please don't go for this rubbish product as i am experiencing a lot with others. whenever we go for a product, first of all we look for the after sales service. in spite of others warning, i purchased the airtel digital t.v. and as a result, i am suffering for their excellent (!) after sales service. my set top box started giving problem since saturday last (10th of October, 2009). the menu is not working, screen saver is coming after every 3/4 minutes. the set top box is not working at all. i immediately contacted the toll free number as requested to send their service engineer and inspect the set top box. by this time i was given number of docket numbers, saying that the service engineer will come definitely on this time or that time. the docket numbers are 1214959, 1206053, 1198148 etc. today is 13th and already 4 days are over but the service engineer is yet to come. they are boasting that they are 24x7. does it prove their 24x7 service and excellent customer care. i don't know whether the management goes through the mail or the recording for internal training. now i have started advising others not to go for this rubbish product. the management, are you listening ?

                                          I am Vijay Pratap Singh and my customer ID is [protected].I have purchased A digital tv in May For Rs 1750 and its validity was 3 months. And i Recharge it By net banking For 1400 rupees on 7sep.. And talk to cutomer care to recharege for 1 year validity (Same plan as was Super value pack).
                                         
                                      * So there should be +135 rupees in my account (Rs1400 pay+Rs105 promotional offer-Rs1370 for one year validity).
                                          # On 1 oct my services was stopped saying your account is negative as they cut Rs 350 for plan upgradation.But nither i request to you for plan upgradation nor i got any conformation for such type of deduction. My plan is same as from beginning (super value Plan).
                                        # I have talked more than 20 times to Customer care they always says that this amount was deducted due to some mistake by Computer ( as it takes as auto upgradation plan because i recharge it before completion of three months) or their colleauge mistake. And they send waver for correction (complaint no-1136805 dated-29sep, 1171636 dated-05 oct, 1181466 dated 7oct,[protected]oct).
                                       They always ensure that our services will start next day or with in 24 hrs.But till now no action taken
                                       So i am so much frustated for this. Please correct it .If you have any proof that i request for plan upgradation than call me.Because i never request for it.

                                      AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — No response from service - System Down for 5 days

                                      The Airtel Digital TV service centre is probably the most difficult place to reach. The customer support executives cannot be reached. After several attempts, if you do succeed in reaching them, they are unable to assign any engineers for service. My system is down for almost a week now. I have called several times, registered a complaint, sent them mails. But, there has been no response from them at all. There is a credit balance of almost Rs. 900+ in my account. I also wish to get back my money and discontinue the service since I am missing out on everything that I wanted to see. This entire process has caused me servere stress, waste of time and money.

                                      Kindly advice action.
