[Resolved]  Aqua Guard — poor service

I have purchased Aqua guard RO in October 2007. When I have purchased, they have told that you will get four free service. But till date I have not received not a single service. On 04/08/08 at 11:00 a.m. I have made a complain on helpline number. Again I have call on 05/08/08 at 12:15 p.m.. I have got reply that they will arrange a person immediately. Again I have call at 6:30p.m.. I have got reply that there is no complain from me and they registere complain now, so someone will visit within 24 hours.

Aqua guard company is fraud compny. They will cheat the customer by giving wrong promise.

I will never recommend anyone to purchase product from Aqua guard.

False promises:
Purchased an RO from sales man in Oct2007, he promised me extended warranty (1 yr is normal, but he mentioned 2 yrs) and free of cost filter change (all 5) during the first 1 year, this was due to the 25 year celebrations. Later I came to know that all this is false from the call centre.

Faulty product:
The Membrane filter stopped working within 1 week. Wow, that service guy came a replaced this free of cost. The membrane filter again failed after 6 months, this time I had to shell out 3K to replace this. Now it is 1 year and again the membrane has failed. With due respect that water is not hard (using metro water, Chennai, T.Nagar)

Bad service:
Guys turn up at my residence to service the filter without a TDS meter. Surprisingly the sales man uses the TDS meter readings as the 'Ultimate truth' while selling the product, but the service guy uses his tounge to take the reading. But what he forgets is that I do not have a TDS built into my tounge.

Bottom line:
Aqua guard was good with UV filters, but they have a long way to go with RO both in terms of product and service. It is better to buy a cheaper unit (sub 10K, say Kent) rather than buy Aqua Guard (RO) for 15K. I would think twice before buying any Aqua guard product in future.
I have contact withe thee said company for 2 years. They are not coming for service even I complaint 6 monthes before theey came for thee service after many complaint given online. Now I have given complaint for service on 14 the April There is no response, again i Have given on 24 the No response again yesterday 28 the April I have given anotheer complaint no response
what I have t o do withe theis company.
pls guide me

We have Aqua Guar water filter which is in AMC. Their service engineer said the mother board needs to be changed, but now since so many days no one is coming up inspite of our repeated follow-up with them. At first they deiputed the AMC and said this AMC is not valid. But when told that we will take them to consumer forum they agreed and when ever we call them they say that their service engineer is on way and will be reaching in some time. And never turns up. When enquired they have a ready reason for his not turning up.

Please suggest / guide us what action shall be taken up against them.
