i had taken a seat at fr muller medical college in 2006 for pg ophthalmology.i had written comed k entrance and had selected this seat.i had signed a undertaking saying that i would pay fees to the college as fixed by the fee fixation comittee.this comittee fixed the fees at 2.34 lac per year i.e a total of 7 lacs for 3 yrs.since i had paid 4.5 lacs initialy my college demanded that i pay the same amount for 3 yrs .they refused to let me attend classes unless i paid up.i have paid 13.5 lacs totally.many other pgs paid only 7 lacs and cannot produce challans for 13.5 lacs.the supreme court and mci have approved of this fee fixation comittees order.several othr colleges have received directions from court to collect fees as fixed by the committee.the college is refusing to refund the excess money, .my dad had a heart attack due to this extortion.i have copies of the undertaking i have given, the committee fees fixed which was printed in the papers and challans of fees paid.college did niot give any receipts .kindly advice
