[Resolved]  Maruti Suzuki — bad service

this is with regards to my vehical number MH31CR4995 which HAS send at an service station in nagpur called maruti automotive UNDER THE GUIDENSE OF MR KULKARNI who is an incharge of that station.this is the first time i have send my vehical for servicing at that station and from the day i have received my car from servicing my batery is not under operationand after making complaint from atleast 10 times or rather more than that no is taking care of my battery. my car is standing at my residence without the battery for more than an week and i have received any replaceable battery nor an new battery which is under warranty period. as an costomer am felling great hard ship and incovinenece so its an humble request that an proper course of action should be taken against the servise station regarding such an horrible service in respect of my car . am sengind this complaint so that i should be given proper response in regards to my complaint.

please take this matter very seriously

I have purchased one Maruthi Zen car from your No. 1 dealer Indus Motors, Kalamassery vide bill no. dated….. On the time of purchase, the Technical and the Marketing people told that there are 120 check points and all the things were checked and found ok. Later two services were done in the same service center no much problem reported. Nearly after two years while I was driving the car, the engine strucked. This happens at Panthalam near Pathanamthitta and called the technical support and the car was taken by them to the Indus workshop, Kumbhazha, Pathanamthitta on 26.01.09. Then on 27.01.09 the Indus Technical team told that the problem found with the engine side and the cost for engine overall will comes Rs.28, 500/- to the maximum. They also added that if any part were found good it will be reused and the cost will come down. But after the completion of the work the cost came to Rs.32, 200/- and the work taken one month time.

My complaint in this regard is the Indus people at Kumpazha, Pathanamthitta were cheated me in this ‘engine overall work’. After the work and checking I found so many problems with my car like A/c is not working, central lock not working, broken engine oil lid etc.

But after the service of the Indus people the tank was empty and I have to purchase petrol in bottle to fill the tank for taking the car from the service center Even after they were charged Rs.300/- for petrol in the bill and around 20 litters of petrol in the tank at the time of the car taken for service.

During the service they told the radiator should be filled with coolant, but after the service I found it is filled with water. It was reported verbally. After the service ‘service report’ were not issued to me even after my frequent request. Neither had I received any customer satisfaction nor any phone call from their side.

This forced me to think they are cheated me. I felt very bad with them that they were exploiting and extracting maximum money from me.

I have complaint also in the case of true value certification. They have certified that engine and whole car were good in maruthi condition. Unfortunately I can’t understand how this much rest formed inside the air sealed engine with full of oil in a short span of time. Oil change and all the gas were changed at the time of true value purchase at least.

In this context I feel that all Maruthi and Indus people are not done in the correct way.

CLEAR THIS MATTER AND PROVIDE ADEQUATE COMPENSATION TO THIS.

My exprience is with M/S Harison is very bad. you imazine i have not received my document after 2 and half month. i am regularly following up with Harison accounts deptt for my document but always they are saying that file has been missed, we are arranging another paper. Still i am facing tremendous problme because temproray RC is valid for 1 month. and i have not taken permanent registration till the date spnending of after 2 and half month.

This is to state that i have purchased maruti suzuki SX4 zxi(2008 model engine no.-m16a 1363401, chasis no.MA3EFJC1S[protected] sunlight copper color from rohan motors mohan cooperatives new delhi with the proper written proof of no manufacturing defect and i have taken the delivery on 30th of march 2009.After reaching home that is <10 km, i noticed that the car have been used with meter reading of 262km and inthe service booklet having coloum milege at page no. o-3 showing 50km please clear the doubt after this we came to know that our car is of july manufacturing which should be of nov-dec manufacturing as told by mr.khanna(marketing manager of the showroom) at the time of booking and the car have ample of problems like joystic for rear view mirror is not working properly, some of the problems which were repaired by the mechanic at the showroom at the time of delivery are siron of the central locking system was not woking properly, a heavy quantity of dust was present inside the car which was cleaned after several request, while repairing the horn stopped working and afterwards we were told that the fuse were not placed in proper position.This is very sad for me because this is fifth time that i have purchased a maruti product and before this i haven't got any problem from maruti as we have purchased a-star four months back but this time i am very upset with the kind of purchase that i have done from maruti.
so, i expect an early and appreciable response from your side.

I am an owner of a Maruthi Zen Estilo Car which was purchased from Popular Automobiles Kottayam on 16.03.2009 vide invoice no 348 / 1 ZVX CEM. I met with an accident on 29.03.2009 at 14:30 at Kayamkulam, Kerala and feel very bad to say that the driver side seat belt got cut off and the steering wheel was jammed against my chest and at present I am suffering suffocation and pain, and undergoing treatment from medical Trust Hospital, Eranakulam.

I am astonished to say that how you maintain the security of a person inside the vehicle such an inferior quality of seat belt in the vehicle. At present my vehicle (vehicle KL-04.Y.1369) is with Popular Vehicles and Services Ltd, S.H Mount P.O, Kottayam 686 006. Soon after the vehicle met with accident I informed the same to your Service Engineer Mr.Balaji at Popular Automobiles and Vehicles Ltd., Eranakulam Branch. His phone no[protected]. His reply to me was “I will call you back after 3 Hrs” hence I repeatedly rang him up for three times the receptionist answered to me he is attending some meeting and will call you back later. It is pretentent to mention that he took my Mob no and land line no but though there was no reply from him thereafter. I was very much pained that such type of ill treatment from a responsible person is highly deplorable.

I had purchased Maruti SX4 from Anand Motor Agencies Ltd Lucknow in Feb 08.
Since inception, the following problem exists :
1.Whenever the car is started in the night or after long hault, at the time of initial pick - up a long beep comes and then after 40-50 secs goes.
I have been addressing this problem in my every service and also at other times. Sometimes the Sevice engineer tells that the problem is in the Fan Belt and sometimes in the AC belt.
Yesterday my vehicle came from 4th paid service and again the same problem continues.When finally I took up the matter with Mr. Swapnil (TSM- Lucknow), he responded ''There is no time to talk in the

2.The service engineer has informed that the Brake Pads are not in working condition and have to be replaced, so don't derive the vehicle till then. This was after the Vehicle came from the Service centre.They said they have no stock of the brake Pads and it will be ordered.In one year, the brake pads have gone ? Second, the service engineer gave no response of the time it will take to get the same replaced

Request to take up the matter and get the same resolved asap . Getting such responses from people like Swapnil is truly not professional.

Sir,
This is to inform you that the undersigned had purchased a Wagan R car of your esteemed company through M/s Amitdeep Motors of Allahabad on[protected], after its purchase the aforesaid car was serviced time to time at the service station of M/s Amitdeep Motors Sulemsarai, Allahabad. It is relevant to state here that inspite of clear instructions the service work was not satisfactory nor the behavior of the employees of M/s Amitdeep Motors was good. It is further submitted that on[protected] the aforesaid car colluded with the Roads divider while saving a small boy who was riding a cycle rashly. The car was insured by Maruti itself I immediately dispatched my car to M/s Amitdeep Motors for repairing after 11 days they completed the repairing and delivered the vehicle on[protected]. After receiving it on the next day I switched the front lights of car the light appeared very dim at that time I was in another district i.e. Varanasi I contact the local Maruti service station, after inspection they told me that the bulb etc has been changed by someone and inferior old part has been replaced by the real ones.
It is very painful to say that today I went to the Service Station of M/s Amitdeep Motors and complained to Mr. V. Upadhyay (Concerned Officer of Maruti) but without inquiring anything he tried to consolidate the matter by saying that no one is available to consider my grievance and after a week I may contact Mr. Sharad then he will look into the matter when I opposed he went to the garage/service area and after few minutes he came back and said that your part is about 400/ Rs keep it and leave, I asked him that what action has been taken against the concerned employee then he stated that it is not in my hand I can only negotiate the matter by paying money to you. It is further informed that when I saw that there is no one to consider I came back to my home and writing you this complaint.

Being the Chairperson of Worlds Renowned Company you are very kindly requested to look into the matter personally because according to internal sources of M/s Amitdeep Motors I came to know that these kind of replacement / theft of valuable parts etc are in routine manner and lot of people are suffering. In this connection on[protected] when a customer complained the service person of M/s Amitdeep Motors they started mar peet with him and at present he is badly injured.

So under these circumstance strict action may be taken against M/s Amitdeep Motors to save the esteemed image of Maruti and proper decision may be taken for the grievance of the undersigned.

hi sir, my name is vimmy bhatia. my brother, Mr. harsandeep Singh brought Swift in Sep, 2007. the car no. is HR 26 AN 5811. Sir my brother is in USA right now & cannot come. we've not received the RC of the car. the insurance is over for the renewal of the same, we need RC. the company people asked us to contact Mr. Neeraj Mishra but i vain. my father, inspite of his bad health travelled all the way from Chandigarh to Delhi thrice but in vain. now this person isn't even replying. not even picking up his mobile. so kindly look into the matter & try to resolve it asap. also please instruct the company employees not to harrass the customers in this way, as it brings bad name to the maruti udyog on the whole.

I had purchase a new maruti swift VXI model(chassis no.-400587) from Stan Autos Pvt. Limited, G.T.Road, opp.Delhi Public School, Jalandhar, dtd.19.1.2009.Before 40-45 days the original papers of my car was stolen .Then i went to that showroom for duplicate papers .but their two salesmen Mr.Satish and Mr.Amarjit behaved with me so much rudely .their behaviour was so terrible.I visited that showroom many times . every time they harassed me .But now they are clearly refusing to give duplicate papers.they have no sense to talk with customers.Then i contact with customer care.My complaint no.is [protected].i did not get any solid response from that dealers.
Now i think i had done very big mistake to puchase a car from your showroom.I request you please issue the duplicate papers as soon as possible otherwise i have to take another steps to get them.please kind attention about this issue .because ur dealers service is not good & i m feel very bad for purchasing a car from your dealer. plz look into the matter and do the justice to me if possible .

dear sir,

I am loyal maruti cutomer from ten years with two delhi no cars. lately not satisfied with the service they done to my car at thane (fortpoint).
My Wagon-R with reg no DL2CP 5290 had given twice to Fortpoint service station at THANE (MAHARASHTRA), after two services also my car still had same problem( it Misses in between ).
I have put a mail to cutomer care of fort point but no response till date.
I have purchased this car from SIKANDS Delhi, where i get good after sale service, but that is not the case at fortpoint. customer feedback form they make us fill by pleading at fortpoint.
the same problem have not been solved after spending Rs 3000 and changing engine oil and spark plug.
i am going through a traume as every day i have to travel 60 km in car.

Maruti Suzuki — Vehicle taking more than 10 days to repair

Dear Sir

This is in reference to the Job Card No. JC09001648 dated 27/04/2009 regarding the repair of accident hit Maruti 800 AC bearing registration no. DL9CK 9578 M/s Magic Auto (Mayapuri Workshop). Please note that while delivering the vehicle I clearly mentioned about the damage including the fact that the bunch of wires under the steering wheel has also burnt post the short circuit due to the accident(which has to be replaced). All these are evident from the description mentioned in the Job Card which was prepared by SA Mr. Bhagwan Roy, who also assured me about the delivery of the vehicle at 6pm on 30th April as mentioned in the Job card.

Subsequently have been speaking to the SA for about 2-3 times everyday and trying to understand the progress of the repair and time and again been pointing out about the status of the wires which are the most important component in the vehicle. During all this he had told me that the car will be delivered on time and hence took leave from office to take delivery of the car. While on the way to the workshop the SA called to say that the vehicle cannot be delivered since the wires are burnt and cannot be repaired (which is evident if one looks at the interior of the car) and the necessary requisition needs to given so that the parts can reach the workshop. At this point the SA passed on the call to his senior Mr. Nalwar who assured me that I will get the vehicle after 3-4 days.

Next day being May Day (1st may) and subsequently Saturday (fail to understand why the supply chain is not working) and Sunday. On Monday I called up the SA who informed that they still have not got the required parts and till Tuesday 1 pm. Maruti Suzuki has not been able deliver the parts to the workshop.

Now how does a person go about his daily routine without a vehicle and that too for no fault of his, but because of the callous attitude of Maruti Suzuki and Magic Auto. The manner in which the whole matter is being handled is very embarrassing and definitely creates a bad name for the popular car maker.

Request you to kindly look into the matter and expedite the process

Sub. : Regarding A-Star
Dear Sir,
Myself Gitanjali Saha, M-Tech in Electrical Engineering and working as a lecturer and my husband Mr. Satyabrata Bhattacharya, Mechanical Engineer presently working in Merchant Navy as 2nd Engineer (sailing on board ships) wants to bring some drawbacks on A-star, Vxi, Engine No. 1028332 which i purchased from Jain Udyog (6901), Agartala on 20/03/09. Till date the distance travelled is more than 1900 km(also 1st service done after 1 month(980 km), using only xtra premium petrol.

1) The hazard warning switch given near the gear lever is not user friendly and of course an accident hazard since i have to look down for the switch while driving.
2) My husband's height is 173 cm and while driving he can't see the whole instrument cluster.He has to put his head little down to see the whole instrument panel.
3) Sometimes the car stops on 2nd gear, also the reverse gear slips which i already informed to Jain Udyog during 1st service.
4) At high speed the engine noise is heard from inside .
5) The A.C. is poor and during daytime the performance i.e. cooling is very poor compared to Hyundai i10.
6) When A.C. is ON and fan switch is on position 1, the radiator fan cuts in and off very frequently which i informed during 1st service and the problem is still there.
7) The main problem is the engine power reduces when A.C. is ON.But i experienced that in Hyundai i10, the reduction of engine power is less in comparison of A-star.
8) The boot space should be increased.
9) Now the mileage part .After 1st servicing I am getting 14 km in highway at economical speed.In city its less than that.After telling this to the showroom personnel they said that after 5000 km the mileage will be more since running in time is there. But for a small engine the running in time should not be 5000 km, maximum 600 - 1000 km is enough.I am using xtra premium petrol and after that also if I am getting 14 km mileage than i think i've simply wasted my money in purchasing this car.I purchased this car mainly b'coz of mileage which in papers it is given 19.6

For your information our full family members are Maruti customers and I believe and trust MARUTI.On that bais I bought this car but now I am not satisfied with the performance.So, my request to you, if possible i want to exchange the car with some other variant with minimum losses and if you agree then let me know.
