[Resolved]  Airtel Digital TV — Non refund of money

We are availing the Digital TV services from Airtel Digital TV since last 2 years, as we were shifting our house from thane to Kandivali, we requested Airtel Digital TV over phone to disconnect their connection and than reconnect it at our new residence. The first call was made on 14th June, 2013. After several follow ups for two days, nobody came for disconnection and hence we communicated them that we do not want to continue with the Airtel Digital TV due to horrible service they are providing.

On the date we instructed for disconnection and non continuance, we had a balance of Rs. 300/- in our account with them which was to be refunded immidiately. Even after several calls the refund has not been made tlll date. Now, the Airtel Digital TV person is telling that they will not refund us the amount. We spoke to Sanjeev Gupta and many other employees of Airtel but all in vain.

We request the consumer forum to help us in getting our money back and punish Airtel for this kind of services.

AirTel — Non refund

I had taken a connection of Rs.999/- rental under corporate scheme. Your M/s. Karshnic Solution, Kausambi, Ghaziabad took Rs. 9,991/- as against Rs. 999/-. It is pity on their part that they are keeping mum on this subject and did not refund me the excess amount. Yiou are, therefore, requested to arrange to refund my excess amount due to me at the earliest.

Internet Connection — Non refund of money

I have applied for the internet connection to Bharti Airtel but they were unable to provide the connection for geographic reseon, but till date ( After 2 month) I have not recieved my money back. NO support to customer

I have taken connection of Internet on date 1-2-09 but due to
airtelcompany technical problem my connection has been canceled ofter
one day.but there are three month passed

AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — no matter what they do not refund

Hay Flok's, hi my name is sid and i m from west bengal in have the Airtel connection...that is two month old...
As i work in call center so i have odd shift...so one night as i had a off after a long time planed to watch a movie so i calles the cust care aand booked a harry potter movie...I was told it wud start at 12:00 so i was wating i never got played...so i called again...then there was a guy who did some trouble shooting like put off the set up box...pull the card out and so on...At the end told me that you had booked the movie after 12:00 so it will be played at 3:00 so i told ok no issue if i get to watch fine...as they had deducted 50 rs...Now when it was 3:00 guess what i could not watch i called again and i got run around every time i called so i told cancel the movie and do i grt the amount refunded the agent was nice and told yes and stated i wud be getting the a call from the back end did not recive the call nor the refund...
Called back again this time i told the agent i want to have te word the word with the team leader...there came a process manager to take the call(he really suck the agent were more nice with soft skill he was dead on call)
I had asked for his employment id refused to give as he was stateting he is not authorize to give, being a processs manager he is not authorize what a [censored] is he then...as i told him see the nots on the system the agent has promise to give the refund he said yes and now i cannot...if is very best to buy a dvd(with 60 movie) at 50 then to request with this people so i suggest plz do order any movie...and i fear they are charging use if we go to the airtel live as well..so plz clear all the doubt before you do any thing with airrtel really big time fraud...
hay i totally and full heartely...from bottom of my heart agree that airtel digitel tv is a ripp-off in plain and simpal words...with verry verry aroggent, idoit, coustomer care service who thing the cust are fool.above i wud be writing again with all trhe agent name along with date and time //////////wat if they say we do not have the agent with thpse names..never know...coz if you put a dog tail in a pipe for 100 years..and if you pull out it still gonna be the same..so it the same with them(AIRTEL DIGITAL TV...THE BIG TIME [censored] AND S***** OF THE PEOPLE MONEY

Airtel complaint — refund of money

i had registerd a complaint to airtel that Rs 198 is deducted from my prepaid mobile no [protected] with message thanks for down loading brain train game & cricket triseries my mobile was locked in my caron dt15.11.09i got a call from airtel executive named jaspreet singh saying that we are going to return Rs 30 back to you then iasked that Rs 198 is deducted from my balance he disconnected the phone
today on dt 16.11.09 Mr mohsin khan called me and said he had checked my a/c and no amount is deducted from my no . sir please look into the matter &refund my balance back

AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — UNREASONABLE DISCONNECTION OF SERVICES

I bought two connections of AIRTEL DIGITAL TV on 01.01.2010 by paying Rs.5600/- for one year pacakge and recharged more Rs.500/- to watch a movie.... STILL MY ACCOUNT WITH AIRTEL IS SHOWING DEBIT BALANCE. MOREOVER AIRTEL HAVE DISCONNECTED THE SERVICES FROM LAST 24 HOURS.

CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVES HAVE NO IDEA WHY THE SERVICES HAVE BEEN SUSPENDED...THEY KNOW ONLY ONE ANSWER " TECHNICAL PROBLEM..... CALL AFTER ONE HOUR" AND ITS BEEN MORE THAN 24 HOURS......... STILL TECHNICAL PROBLEMS.

Hi,

I have applied for a new Internet connection from Airtel on 16 Jan'2010. Their field executive came to me and he audited my area and said internet connection is possible over here. I told him to verify my locality with your technician but he said it's ok. He robbed me with 250 Rs. as a starting payment and said within 2 days your internet connection will be activated. But now it is more than 2 months still I am waiting for their revert and I have allready complaint on their helpdesk and as well as on their site but they said that they do not fear to go consumer court and they were not taking my words seriously.

Now these days neither the agent replying nor I am getting my payment.

Please suggest me what should I do now...

AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — Neither providing service not refund money

Dear Sir/Madam,

My Airtel costomer ID No is [protected]. Airtel Digital TV is failed to provide service since last dt. 07.10.10.

I am having this connection since last 6 month with paid 1 year subscription charges. After 6 month Airtel Digital SETUP Box got failed due to manufacturing defect. Airtel has changed it with old setup box. They could not activate my set up box since bigining. Now the Set up box itself is not working.

I reuqeted them to resolve the problem or refund the money. But they do not want anything and they could not resolve the problem.

Now I request you to help me inthis matter.

I had issued a post paid cheque dated 29th Sept 2010 with the instructions that it will be deposited in the bank on the date. The VRITI INFOCOM PVT. LTD. B-75, SECTOR-63, NOIDA-201307 (UP) deposited the cheque on 22/sept/10. The DTH was supposed to be installed in Goregaon-East Mumbai on 01Oct2010 but was not installed. I have reminded them by email and by telephone calls at Mumbai as well as Noida offices but without any result. Their Mumbai office issued a receipt no. 3041 dt19.9.10. we had issued State Bank of India, Mindspace, Link Road, Malad-West. it is also surprising how both the banks honoured my cheque before the due date.

Airtel DTH — Refund of Excess Payment by me

I have an Air Tel DTH Connection. The following are the details

I wanted to recharge for Rs 500/-

By mistake, I rechagded for Rs 5000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) instead of Rs 500/- on 27.02.2011

Originally the customer care executive told asked me to send the request for refund of Rs 4000/- to [protected]@airtel.in along with proof of payment and bank account details.

But now after one week they tell me that the amount is not refundable,

I want help to resolve my problem.

One of the worst customer support in the world. They should be punished for not providing proper support. I had lots of issues with Airtel DTH. Now I am facing the bing one the so called Engieers are not at all bothered about the customer.

12150 is one of the idiotic customer care number in the world. If you call you should have minimum 2 hours to reach the on-call person after that, he/she will tell that the issue will be resolved in 24 hours but they will not tell when that 24 hour will start.

If Airtel does like this they will not have a single customer in down the line and they will loose their reputation from the customers.

[protected]@airtel.in will only recieve the mails they will not respond to any mails. Because they are service providers the "King" we are customer "Slave"

The MD/CEO of the company should spend some time in reading the comments. If they dont bothered about the customer... they are going to see what is customer is.

Airtel DTH — Non refund of money collected

Bharti collected Rs 3590 from me on July 2nd, via credit card with the promise to provide a DTH connection within 48 hrs. Over the next 48 hrs I didnt get anything in return - nobody called up, and certainly nobody came to fix teh connection. After 3 days of the initial request, ie on Monday July 4th, I formally requested for a refund. I was promised a full refund for the entire payment amount of Rs 3590 over phone.

Since then I have called numerous times, and sent numerous e-mail requests for refund. When I call them over phone, I am always promised a refund with 48 hrs.

On email though, there is no clear correspondence. I have received only one e-mail revert dated July 6 2011, and that has promised a "revert" (?) at the "earliest". Amazingly, there has been no clear communication of a refund on e-mail !!!.

When I called again today morning, I was again promosed a refund within 48 hrs. When I told the representative I was told the same thing 10-12 days ago, all she said was that this time it would indeed be 48 hrs.

I am amazed at the shamelessness of Bharti, taking money and then not having the courtesy to respond. And not providing any refund confirmation on mail while continuing to do so on phone.

If anyone can pls help me with what I can do next I will be grateful.

Hi:

I applied for a new digital TV connection on 22 July and made online payment on the same date, I was told within 24 hours the new connection will be installed. Till the time I was making the payment , the customer service agents were really good. Thereafter I did not receive any call from anyone and I had to make calls to the customer service center.

AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — Refund Of My Amount

Sir,

My name is Vipul Bansal and i lived in Rana Pratap Bagh, Delhi - 110007. My concern is, on 1st of January 2012 near about 8 or 8.30 PM I ordered a new multiple tv connection on the customer care and paid Rs. 1190 (Rupees One Thousand One Hundred Ninety Only) on IVR through my citi bank credit card no. ending with 0064, and the transaction ID for the same is 590122. And the executive assures me that within 24-48 hrs. your connection will be installed, but till Wednesday no response from them. After that I started contact to customer care and everyday till 7th Jan 2012 the executives said probably today or by tomorrow your connection will be installed but result was same “No Response”.

And on 7th Jan 2012 all the limits were crossed by the executives, I called up on customer around 20-25 times and in that no. of times around 18-20 times the executives disconnected my call after listening my concern. So i decided to cancel my order and i sent a mail to [protected]@airtel.in in this concern that now i don't want the new connection and i want my money back. And i got a call from them on 8th Jan 2012 that within four working days your money will be credited to your account and gave the reference no. 15274647.

But today is 13th Jan 2012 and no reflection of refund yet in my card (I confirmed with my bank also) and when i called up to customer care, firstly my call was got disconnected by them after listening my concern and when i called up second time they said that your complaint no. 15274647 is showing closed from our side.

So sir kindly help me out that how could i got my money back.

Airtel Digitel TV — non refund of my dues

Dear Sir,

With reference to the above (my account no [protected] with Airtel), I wish to inform you that I had discontinued my digital TV connection as per my request made to airtel on 19/11/2011. I was informed by thier customer care staff that my balance of Rs 1795.00 would be refunded to me after thier company officials take back the digital box from my home. The digital box was removed from my house after 5-6 days, however I am yet to receive my refund.

I made a complaint again on 28.12.11( interaction ref no:[protected] reminded thier people that I have still not received my refund. thier customer care told me that someone would call me within 24 hours and do the needful. It is highly depressing to say that no one has called from thier side. I have made several complaints over phone and sent several email thereafter, but always they only promise that some will call me and look into the matter.

I request you to please help me as the company is not acting and I have no options and do nott have the capability to take necessary alternate/legal action.

AirTel — Non-refund of Amounts

I had surrendered my broadband connection with Airtel. At the time of setting up the broadband connection they charged me 750/- (amount in Indian Rupees). After the termination of the connection, I had made an application that I wanted to return my Modem that I am having with me back to Airtel. So, in that case how much amount in Indian Rupees would I be refunded. They told me that I will get a refund of 750 only (amount in Indian Rupees), i.e., the exact amount that I had paid to them while the connection was being created. But now they say that the instrument charges are non-refundable. Please help me.
And this is not the first time that I am having problem with Airtel Consumer Services.
