i have purchased a NOKIA-6030 (IMEI No 358081016150458) for my daughter on 07.11.2007 from Bobby Electronics, Sector 35-Chandigarh vide their Bill No 13850 dated 7.11.2007..
Approx one and half months back the set start to give problem of not responding of FM.Radio.
I visited NOKIA Care at Phase 7 Mohali on 05.6.2008. After checking they advised me to deposit my set with them because it should be sent to the Company for necessary repairs. I deposit the same with them. At the same time they recommend that the Head Phone is quite OK.
On 14.6.2008 they called upon me for collection of the set. As I was out of station on that day I sent my son the collection of the set. But the same day the condition of the set was same (FM still was not responding). They again asked for the deposition of the set and I did so.
On 23.6.2008 they again called upon me for the collection of the set. On that day they said that the set is OK but the FM is not responding due to fault is you Head Phone. They tested the set on a new Head Phone (which was OK).
The head phone which is with us is responding all services like tunes etc on the same set and also responding on other phone sets also. I could not understand that how it is faulty?
At the same time I requested them for the replacement of my Head Phone (if it is faulty) they expressed their inability for the exchange with a new one reasoning that it has crossed warranty period (as per them it is 6 months only).
I wish to bring in your kind notice that at the time of purchasing the set, I was told that set having warranty period for one year. So I request to your good self that my Head Phone may be replaced with a new one under the warranty.
