[Resolved]  Tata DoCoMo Photon Plus — Invalid Billing + Recovery Threatening Calls

Dear Sir/Madam

I bought a Photon Plus device in DEC 2010 bearing number[protected] and with an unlimited plan RS950/Month. I used the device for about 5 months and paid the dues before due dates. With the last bill payment I requested for termination of Internet services to my device in APR-MAY 2011 and cleared the dues. I left my home place for about a year. But unfortunately TATA billed me extra 2 months rent for my already terminated account with RS1987. Few weeks ago I returned to my home and I got a call from TATA recovery person, He theatned me for legal action if I was unable to clear the invalid outstanding dues.
Couple of days ago Mr. Rohit Salathia emailed me with an Amnesty Scheme. He claims that I should pay 60% of Rupees 1987 which is = Rupees 1192 approx. within one week from the date of email failing which they will respond with legal action and charge interest for the said amount.
I am not going to pay a penny to the scam company. TATA DOCOMO PHOTON PLUS sucks. I won't ever recommend PHOTON PLUS to any one they are bunch of crooks. It's a scam company.

Tata teleservices Ltd/Tata Photon+ — Product not working/Threat from tata teleservices

Respected Sir/Madam,
I purchased a Tata Photon+ internet connection from Tata Teleservices @3000 in the month of Oct,09 or Nov,09. The product is not working at my place from the time of purchase and the complaint for which was lodged with Tata teleservices twice. The engineer from the company visited my place twice and told to me that the USB(Photon +) internet service will not work properly here due to weak network signals.
When I raised my with the authorities from tata they told me Sir we have enquired and Internet will not work at your home so kindly return the USB to tata and get your amount refunded.
Due to some personal issues I was not able to return the USB in the month of Dec,09 and when I tried to return the USB in Jan,2010 at there Faridabad outlet and also at there Mathura Road,Delhi outlet I was told that it will not be possible for us return the USB due to which I didn't pay the due bill @1500(though I have not used the Internet) for the Month of Jan,10 and Feb,10.
Tata got my connection dosconnected in Feb,10 after that I received as many as around 10 calls from them asking me to pay the bill, I told them all the time its not an issue to Pay the bill but first of return my USB and refund the amount after deducting the due amount .i.e. [protected]@3000 - Due [protected]@1500 hence refund me Rs1500 but they are not taking any action against the said issue.
Today .i.e on 15th-Apr-10 I have again received a call from tata teleservices from number[protected] and now they are threating me to take the legal action against me and also It was told might be they can also send there goons at my home from recovery.

Please help me out inorder to come out from such awkward situation.

That you had subscribed to telecom services provided by my clients on the terms and conditions as laid down in the Customer Application Form (CAF) which were duly read, acknowledges and signed by you in acceptance thereof. Finally I received call from TATA DOCOMO PHOTON PLUS. They apologized for the inconvenience also for the legal notice harassment.They cancelled the invalid bill and permanently deactivated my TATA account once for all. They said they checked out the database and found the data usage=0KB, which unfortunately I was billed for 1987INR.

And also gave me a 9 digit deactivation confirmation number for reference.

I am sorry my explicit and rude behavior.

I bought TATA DOCOMO photon and used for 2 months and later when i found that the network problems i decided to disconnect it and dint use it. and bill got generated for 3rd month also. so even questioning them why they generated bill for 3rd month also, i paid the money as part of settlement which was told by the TATA executive guy who came for collecting the money and he ensuring that you wont face any problem henceforth. he said that he will deactivate the connection. but to my surprise TATA DOCOMO started to generate bill even after settlement. they generated bills for 3 months without me not even using it for 1 minute. absolutely zero usage. i have raised complaints with the customer care. they was absolutely no response from them. they even closed the compliant without even informing me. again i raised the complaint. they were so rude in answering the questions.. i felt so bad and humiliated with their behavior. the main problem with the TATA DOCOMO is the irresponsible and rude behavior of the representatives towards the customers who are loyal to TATA for years together. I had a great respect to the TATA brand but now with the Photon connection i totally lost trust in the company. in the present competitive world, all the companies are thriving for customer service where customer service is playing the main role that the product. i myself being in a sales company know the value of customer service.
if you have any questions regarding the service i can show you 50 customers with the same complaint in my office alone who got frustrated with the service of TATA. More over threatening calls from the legal department who absolutely were very very rude with their behavior. I just trusted the executive as he said he will see that my connection gets deactivated. thinking that i dint even touch the device for 3 months. but to my surprise i was billed.
How can you bill for the connection with 0 usage?
How can a executive who is representing a big company be so irresponsible?
How can the customer service guys be so rude to the customers?
How can the legal department threaten a loyal customer to TATA brand?

I sincerely request TATA to look into this matter and get this resolved not just me alone but to the entire customer world who are suffering with the service provided. Please regain the trust lost with TATA by taking a long term approach.

I bought TATA DOCOMO 3G in July 2012 and paid the bill on 29th August 2012 for Rs. 1, 250, 29th Sep. 2012, for Rs. 1250, 25th Oct. 2012 for Rs.

1200, 23rd Nov. 2012 for Rs 1700 & 26th Dec. 2012 for Rs. 1251 and later when i found the network problems i decided to disconnect it and did not

use it and the connection was deactivated by your office on my request. Your Local centre said that the connection was deactivated . But to my

surprise TATA DOCOMO started to generated a bill for Rs. 2, 960 for the duration 21-4-13 to 20-5-13 even after settlement (As told by Mr. Ranveer

Vats, Mobile no. [protected], & Mr. Vineet Yadav, Mob. No. [protected] from your Delhi Legal Dept. This bill was generated when i did not use it

for 1 minute absolutely zero usage and that too after 3 Monthes of deactivation (no billing was made for Jan., Feb., March 13). Mr. Ranveer Vats &

Mr. Puneet Yadav threatened for taking legal action against me. I asked them that there is no payment due against me and to my surprise they were so

rude in answering the questions.. I felt so bad and humiliated with their behavior. the main problem with the TATA DOCOMO is the irresponsible and

rude behavior of the representatives towards the customers who are loyal to TATA for years together. I had a great respect to the TATA brand but now

with the Photon connection i totally lost trust in the company. in the present competitive world, all the companies are thriving for customer service

How can a company generate a bill for the connection which was disconnected in Dec. 2012 (no billing was made for Jan., Feb., March ., April, May

13). for the period 21-5-13 to 20-6-13. Which is recieved today only.
How can you bill for the connection with 0 usage and that too after a break of 3 months for not billing it?
How can a executive who is representing a big company be so irresponsible?
How can the customer service guys be so rude to the customers?
How can the legal department threaten a loyal customer to TATA brand?
Now I'm seriously looking for filling a suite against the company & Mr. Ranveer Vats & Mr. Puneet Yadav, the so called advocate as stated by

themselves, the other persons involved in it for threatening me and for my Mental Harasment.
I may add here that i'm already using Tata Docomo 3G Number : [protected] from Jan. 13 and regularly paying the bills. Also one of my Employee

Mr. Shanawaj Tyagi is also using Tata Photon+ no. : [protected], Ac. No. 94595780 and paying bill regularly.
I sincerely request TATA to look into this matter and get this resolved not just me alone but to the entire customer world who are suffering with the

service provided. Please regain the trust lost with TATA by taking a long term approach.
If the problem is not resolved i will be forced to close all my no. and will seek 3G services from other companies.
