We bought a videocon washing machine which is fully automatic roughly around 8 year back.. we used it for few years and after which it started giving some problems... now till the date nobody at videocon has been able to help us out and it was purely a harrassment procedure which had happened with their different departments. How can they expect form a middle class family to buy such gadgets after every few yearss.. they have to give some repairs and maintenance services for which we are ready to pay.. they have simply raised their hands telling..they cant do anything.. Videocon D2H — Complaint related to service
Ref No. Customer id : 3824049With reference to above customer id, I hereby inform you that I am not getting the service from D2H service engineers. My D2H connection is not working properly as their engineers have not installed the disk properly.
I have done more than 2 complaints but every time they used to come and without proper checking they used to say that we are unable to understand the problem that why the screen is freezing.
I had made the last complaint on[protected]. The person, to whom they people say an engineer he was not having proper tool by which he can check the frequency of the signal than how can he will resolve the problem.
At last he told me that you will have to re-locate the disk to some other place.
I want to know that if the same problem was at the time of installation than why their engineers had installed the disk at that place where the signal was very low.
Now they people are demanding the relocation charge Rs.300/- with minimum account balance of Rs.400/- in my account.
KIndly help me and let me know the way by which it can be solve as these companies are taking money from us but not providing the services.

Videocon D2H — Customer harrasment and cheating
Dear Sir,I am Ashok Pandey and with lot of trust I purchased 1 ton videocon AC in april 2005. The machine which the dealer sent to me had some problem the very first day and he replaced it bacause it was making lot of noise. I never got any free service from the dealer and always I called the third party service to do the maintanance of my AC. The dealer is A.N Niketan , harish mukharjee rd, kolkata.
my AC has been running smoothly for first two years and from third year the problem started. every year the cooling decreases and i pay Rs.2000 for gas refilling. it works for that season and same procedure is repeated. This year i filled the gas again and inspite that the cooling is not functioning properly. I called the third party technician and he said that the compressor is not functioning properly and i will have to get it replaced. I approached the Videocon since the rotary compressor is in warranty for 6 yrs and it should be covered. The tech came and checked nothing and said that it is fine and only problem is that the compressor is getting heated and we will have to fill the gas in the compressor and it will work fine. he gave me the budget of another Rs 2500 and went off. Now I ask the company, this is the service what you offer to the customer? Its rediculous and Harrasment to the customer and I will report the matter to the highest official of Videocon. Your service providers are just cheating the customers and I am really upset. if you wish to contact me for any clearification, please contact me on - [protected]; E-mail- [protected]@yahoo.co.in.
I will report this matter to consumer forum if I do not get the reply within 5 days, and legally sue Videocon for providing such service to the customers.

1. Poor quality of the product with one 100% failure.
