[Resolved]  Life Insurance — NEVER believe Life Insurance company will pay the policy amount to your family on your death

Since last 30 years I had been paying the Insurance premium.in my own name.
Now at the time of maturity, LIC and their associates are harassing to me for non payment on time.
Reason: LIC wanted one new policy from me so that I can further invest the maturity amount with LIC
When I refused to deposit maturity amount with LIC, they are harassing to me since last one month for non making the payment on time.

The customer contacted Branch office, Customer care, IIRDA Insurance departments, but no any action has been initiated by LIC .

Is this not a corruption in LIC Department and un-necessary harassment to the lic policy holders.

This is to inform you that LIC is un-necessary harrasing to me in making the maturity amount on time. I am running behind the LIC Branch 11B since last one month and they are regularly harrasing to us.

on 11th April they have confirmed the following:

Maturity claim amt. Rs. 218400.00 has been paid wide our cheque no. 0308001 dated 28.03.2013.

My residence is hardly 1km from the LIC branch 11B.
since last 11th April and today is 15th. I think it will further take one month to receive the cheque from LIC

Is this not a corruption. I will approach to Central vigilance commission and raise the voice against such harrassment by LIC offices to their customers.

While opening a new account for the policy Holder, your agent speak very honestly about LIC and appreciates about its goodwill. The investors come into the net of LIC and their agents.

After 30 years, when the policy is matured, the policy holder have to face the problems in getting his hard earned money back again and again visiting branch 8 to 10 times LIC branch office visit,

I had purchased one policy in the year 1982-83, there was no any information during such years.

while submitting for accepting the matured policy, I had to run visit branch office almost 6 times for submitting the original policy. There is no positive response to the investors and policy holders when the policy submitted , it was told that the payment will come online into your account.

Till date I am running behind LIC Laxmi nagar, Radhu palace, Branch 11B due to poor services.
I think i will get the payment after next 2-3 year.
LIC policy is same like 30-40 years earlier had. LIC should change its policy and grievances should be removed immedietly. Today is the market of competition among the multinational Life insurance companies service providers.
I do not think that any illiterate person will get his payment timely from your organisation.

Non receipt of confirmation of payment of my maturity

I am running behind your LIC for the maturity amount, but there is no any response . Either I will have to give new policy then only I can get the matured amount. Is this not a monopoly or promoting the corruption.
Is this not the duty of LIC to inform to policy holder and send their customer relation officer to resolve the grievances.
We as customer have to be face the problems.
This problems we do not face in opening a new LIC policy.

Life insurance — Poor and harashment of customer after geting polciy

I have taken a policy whih polciy no. is 10948257 and I have deposited regular premium of Rs. 15000.00 on half yearly basis.

On 09.03.2009 I have issued a at PAR cheque of State Bank of India, no. 8539 dated 09.03.2009 of Rs. 15000.00 and deposited at your Alwar ( Rajasthan) Branch and taken your receipt no. A2405420.

To day ( 01.04.2009 ) I have received a SMS from you that my said policy has lapsed, that means after 22 days, I am very much surprised to see that said massage even I have issued cheque at PAR, which is clear under two working days. even, before this massage I have not received my returned instrument and no any written massage from.

Now, please note that I have already taken the exemption of Income tax for submit the proof of said investment, now I am defaulter and I will have to depsit the tax of Rs. 5000.00 for the above.

Your system is very week and negelency of your staff why beer the such panelty of Rs. 5000.00 + Interest + mental tension by a customer. The same can be save if your person gives the information on the right time.

Now finally I request you please arrange to return my said instrument and arrange the above amount which I will have to pay due to negelgency of your staff.

If you not hear my problem such a customer than no option to goes to consumer court.

I hope you will be take in the right sprit and gives the proper response from you at the earliest.

Life insurance — Policy is not cancellation

Dear Sir/ Madam,
I had taken a life Insurance policy from Reliance Life insurance by paying Rs. 15000 by an application No. :- A1475327 Dated 17/3/2009 & then i took a Free look cancellation as i found that the policy applied doesn't suits my requirement & Agent had wrongly committed to me. ( Agent name :- Heena Arora, Advisor Code :[protected], SM Code :- 036391). I had applied for cancellation of the policy No. 14080175 on Date 26/3/2009 by giving a written application at Gurgaon office ( Iffco ). Then after i am writing a mail & doing so many calls at call centre[protected]& spoke to so many people like Sumeet, Mohit ( Supervisor level) etc . Al the time they are giving some excuses like Branch has not attached the copy & they are proceeding further. they are giving me ref. no. like [protected] & [protected] but they are not returning my money back. Today i have been told by Mohit that contact to Branch & then i have contacted Branch at Gurgaon but they have told me to contact at call centre & call centre people are saying that contact at Branch.

Pl. Guide me on the same.& help me clear the matter at the earliest.

Life insurance — Citi Bank Vs www.BimaKing.com

I almost got cheated by a Citi Banker, he was trying to sell me a life insurance policy..where the 1st year allocation charges were more than 50 percent of the premium amount. Its quite crazy. I wonder how CitiBank operates in India. At the same time i met someone from www.BimaKing.com, this is the company to watch out for ! They made me understand insurance offerings from various companies like LIC, Kotak, Birla, ICICI etc.... I finally said no to Citibank and bought a new LIC - Jeevan Anand policy from www.BimaKing.com. Good guys still exist in market.

Life insurance — Money backpolicy Fraud -ICICI Pru.

Background on the case :

I am holding a money back policy of ICICI ( Policy No.[protected] , on march -10 when I contact the your Noida sector 18 branch on the my money back policy cheque which was supposed to be delivered to me in Jan 2010 , I was surprised to get the information , that it has been already credited to my account .



After discussion & providing the valid bank account statements & spending 3 hrs at Noida sector 18 branch & on investigating the cheque delivery records , I was able to get the information that it has been collected by person with a similar name . ( got the entire case history confirmation in writing from the branch )



Noida sector -18 branch team confirmed to take action & close this case with a fresh cheaque in next 10WD .



Getting no response from the branch , logged a complain on the help –desk ( Complain no :[protected] dated 13/05/2010. After regular follow & due confirmation by ICICI Pro team Chennai ( looking after the escalated cases I hope) to close the case on 7th July 2010 & send me the fresh cheaque.





Forced to Action :

I will be forced to launch a case for Fraud against yourself in the Consumer forum & also put a case in IRDA if I do not get a positive response on the case by 22nd july2010.



Or if left no option will also be forced to highlight the case in the media .



Hope this will draw the attention of the concern team .

First of all I would like to know did ICICI Pru Life has given you the confirmation that the cheque issued to you has been wrongly given to someone else... If you have the documentry evidence, you can always write to Fraud Contorl Unit ICICI Pru Life marking a copy to Ombudsmen Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority. Hope the will be forced to listen to your complians...

Its my earnest request to you to complain once again as adviced and please send a copy to the IRDA Ombudsmen office a copy so that the complian didn't get ignored...
I strongly agrees to you, that good guys still survives in the market... are you really aware about your policy... Many people in India don, t even check what they are buying...The few Steps people should follow before buying any policy : -

1. Understand the entire polcy features. How this policy is going to work for their future.

2. Always ask for the Benifit Illustration from the Seller. Humble request always ask for the system generated Benifit Illustrations.

3. The benifit illustration will always shows return in 6% and 10% senario as IRDA permits... If you have any doubts that the illustration is tampered please contact the customer care of the company and get the illustration for your self.

4. Post Issuance of the policy, once the policy bond reaches your place, do read the policy bond carefully. See weather all the conditions told to you matches with the policy bond or not...

5. After reading all this if you find any thing different than what has told to you. You have 15 days of freelook period.

Sir,

Same thing happen to me too. One of the agent of Free Concept India came to us with a chart of investment and return. I was told to invest Rs.10000/- per year for three years and after three years I may withdraw my money and according to the chart it was minimum Rs. 40,000 and maximum Rs. 75000.

After paying my first installment I received policy letter in which it was mentioned 20 year term and each year I have to pay Rs. 10,000/-

When 3 years completed and I want back my money they say my fund value is only Rs. 25366.08 as on 22.10.2010.

When someone do such thing on behalf of your company, the companies name is spoiled and people do not have faith. It is a fraud.

what is the cost of life of a person for lic? my wife submitted acheque no.682802 dt 12.7.10 rs. 49280.00 for my life insurance. lic got done all the relevant medical tests .after a lapse of seven valuable months of my life i am still not insured.who is responsible for this crime.

This is to bring to your kind notice that, I have done my insurance dated 28/03/2005, policy number[protected] in the name of Subhasis Roychowdhury and policy no[protected] in the name of Debasis Roychowdhury, since the policy amount is big after 3rd year, I fail to pay the premium in time which is name of Subhasis Roychowdhury, but some how I have manage to deposit Rs. 208029/- and same was encash on dated 8th sep 2012 and 28 sep' 2012, in spite of that my policy was not regularized even after submitting medical check up and test reports which as require as per norms.
Same time other policy in the name of Debasis Roy chowdhury policy no[protected] it was properly regularised. In my case now I have been chagred to deposit Rs.236752/- to continue this policy, I am very much surprise how LIC can charge late fine of Rs. 236752/- towards late fees in spite of paying 208029/- in above mention date to continue this policy one policy is continuing with out problem and other one still yet to be regularised. It is my earnest request to see the matter immediately to wave my late fine and regularised the policy. It is not possible to pay the huge amount at a time for your internal technical problem.
Please short out the matter immediately.
