It is dismal to note the pathetic services by Airtel Broadband.
1. On 8th July -13 - based on your call from customer service offering Rapid 30 gb -1599 (8mbps/512kbps) combo plan, I HAD CHANGED THE PLAN.
2. Ever since then I have been facing frequent disconnection of the internet, disturbing my work and mails to my groups.
3. I had complained to your customer service Mr Hiju on 12/7/13 and reference number 35479660 @10.50 am.
4. Your technician came found it was working and after some time on observation he found it was disconnecting, he rectified and closed the file the same night
5. On 13/7/2013 once again the internet started disconnecting, I complained to customer service on 13.07.13 at 12.50pm and reference number is 35538790
6. A technician came the internet was working and he said the frequent disconnect is due to upgrading to 8mbps speed and copper wire in airtel cable cannot with stand and complaint was kept in observation
7. After Observation on 15th july I once again revised the plan30gb/1499(4mbps/256kbps) and it was effected
8. Even after this there are frequent disconnections
9. Between 15th July till now I would have made more than 12 calls to your customer service and complaint no – 35538790 is still open and no technician has visited, despite assurances by customer service dept
10. I spoke to Mr A.Karthik – Team Leader – Customer care - Platinum care, but it is of no use.
Till today I am unable to send mails with attachments nor proceed with my mundane work.
Airtel services is pathetic, they expect customers to beg, they call themselves as Platinum care Services and it seems to be like Rusted iron services. In fact I feel I am being cheated by AIRTEL, between 13th july to this date I am not able to consistently do my work on PC AND WILL airtel REFUND ME THE MONEY Pro-rata.

AirTel — Airtel service is pathetic

I have got 2 connections of airtel and i was promised that i will be getting good network. But the network was so bad that when i tried to complain them while i was in my house then the number would not get connected at all. I had to leave the comforts of my house and try to reach them. All the outgoing calls, i had to go out and make calls. Now, for incoming calls, i had no specified time such that i go out and hold my cell phone in air for it to receive the signal. Not that i stay in some remote location. I stay very much in Thane city and have been using vodafone network and reliance network with no problem.
At the time of connection, i had paid 500 rs deposit for each connection. When i got my first bill, i complained to them saying, i have bad network and i will not make the payments till i get proper network. They said, they knew the problem and that they are working on it. They requested me to pay for the phone calls i have made and not pay the rent. This was repeated for couple of more months.
But now i am tired of this phone service. Infact i have to provide service to airtel by leaning out of my window and talking to people and risking my life. The so called free incoming calls never reach me and my friends complain saying you are never reachable. And i say, its not me, its Airtel that is never reachable.
Having said all this, i want Airtel to refund my desposit of 1000 rs (500 rs each connection). They want me to pay the bill that i have received which i dont agree to pay at all. They are asking me to pay for the calls that i have made. Who will compensate for the incoming calls that were free to me but i could never get any of them. Who will compensate for the pain that i have gone through when trying to reach my dear ones (remember the leaning out of window act).
Having said all this, i would appreciate if airtel tries to improve the service rather than fighting with me on petty amounts which i will never pay to them and instead refund me the money that i have paid to them as i can never ever think of continuing to use this service which has traumatised me to this extent.

you say that you will give free sms (200 for a month ) for a recharge of rs 29 ,but wat do you do is that you deduct money from balance for sending msgs on cdma mobiles .

furhter at the time of any festival your sms card doesnt work.



is this just ? it happens nowhere ..

when your rivals(vodafone,idea bsnl,reliance etc ) are bringing a number of schemes u are reducing the number of facilites ...

u r a reputed company and it doesnt suits u at all ..what a fame u had at the times wen i purchased the simcard of AIRETL all my friends had AIRTEL connections ,but now because o[censored]r negligence your fame is decreasing day by day.

so just dont cheat us ..

AirTel — Pathetic airtel services

Airtel should be penalised for their harrowing services to their customers.

I'm using airtel services from quite some time and they have made my life miserable with their incompetent services.

From last three months, i'm calling them almost everyday for my problems and instead of resolving my problems they add on new ones.

My list of the problems:

1. From last three months i'm not being able to login into the airtel system by using my username and password. Everytime i call them (almost thrice a week), i get a standard reply that their system is under upgradation and within 48 hours i should be able to access. But three months have passed and those 48 hrs are still to get over. Now i'm being told that the upgradation was over on 21st May and still i'm not able to access.

Now i call them almost thrice every day, they tell me each time that they will reset my password and sms me the new password in 30 mins. but i've never received such sms. I've wasted much of my valuable time in cribbing with Airtel people.

2. Very often they deacivate the services on their own. For instance, i was going to Malaysia in mid april, i asked them to activate my international roaming. They assured that it will be done within 4 hrs. But 24 hrs passed by and they didn't activate and i was in Malaysia with no connection. My father had to call them incessantly for the whole day and finally it was activated after 36 hrs of my request for international roaming.

3. After i cam back from Malaysia, they deactivated my ISD calling facility on their own. This time they said that it will be activated within 30 mins, and again they took 20 hrs to activate my services, i had to call them several times, argue with them and send many sms before the ISD Calling was activated.

4. I recently requested them for Blackberry services. They activated the Blackberry services but deactivated the CLIP facility on their own. It was a herculean task to get the CLIP activated. They took 3 days for this and i had to argue with them many a times.

5. 3 days ago i had to make an ISD call and i realised that again they have decativated my ISD calling facility. Againg i had to argue with them to have it restored.

They have made my life miserable, it is so frustating to face such problems. One has to waste time to talk and argue with them. They just have a standard reply ... 'we are sorry for the inconvenience caused' for all our complaints ... which is so artificial

No one pays any attention to our problems. The worst is that we have to talk to a new person each time and explain our grievances. No senior person is available to register our complaint with.

AIRTEL call centre is full of incompetent person, they don't even have most of the information and they don't have the service attitude.

I hope airtel can treat their customers better.

AirTel — close the service

i have lost my mobile.i was in 299 bill plan. plz disconnect my number.otherwise im no going to pay the bill .

I have asked for a change over of plan from Airtel ALL INDIA ONE to
Airtel Community plan.

When i checked out with the customer care, they have clearly said that the sceheme is prorata. As far as i remember the request was made in 1st week of may and I have received a confirmation that the same has been activated.

At the end of the month, i have received the bill as per the old plan only.
Whn contacted the customer care, recieved multiple comments.
while one said that the bill is not prorate, the other said that the bill is prorate.

Later they said they would clear out the issue in 24 hrs. Now its been more than 5 days. No reply from your end

I have not yet paid my bill amount as i was waiting for confirmation from your end. Hope you have the courtsey for not billing me any penalty charges in this context

Airtel Broadband — The Worst Service Ever Seen

Just see the complaints, made by me to Airtel Broadband services, but nothing has been done yet... even when I sent a recorded matter to the Airtel Bharti company (the so called number one service provider in this region). My message is as follows:

Dear Mr Customer Care Executive,

This is to bring into your kind consideration that any of my complaints have not been resolved till now.

Today, a while ago, I got an SMS from your side "Dear Customer, Your Complaint Number 8844596 for the telephone Number [protected] has been resolved. Airtel Bharti Telemedia Customer Care. Call 121 for any assis"

But I myself don't know that what has been resolved yet, because my connection has not started working till now... Only after too long follow-up, the wiring has been done with no cooperation from your side and still I am on leave for the third day (means loosing my salary continuously only because of you people) and waiting for my connection to start work. Although I am already paying all the bills on time and even paid more than the billed amount a number of times, I am not able to use your services... why is it so???

I am waiting for the connection to start work and also for you to clarify me on the subject, or I will be forced to take the matter in the competent court of jurisdiction too...

Please reply on my mobile number given below (because my landline is not working because of your negligence)...

This is regarding my Airtel Broad Band Connection (number[protected]. A request for the shifting of the telephone connection was given to your customer care (Number 121 from Airtel Landline) for which the request number is 129975. The request was given on June 29, 2008.

For this request, for the first time (after so much delay) I got a call from your executive Mr. Ravinder (Mobile number: +91 [protected]) at nearly 12:30 pm. He said that his colleagues will come and shift the connection to my house (at new address) within half an hour. After waiting for him and his colleagues for nearly 2 hours, I left the house for the doctor, as I was hurt in my right leg.

Then I got his call after more than two hours and he said that his colleague was waiting for me near the landmark given by me. I told him that I was at the clinic and will be back in about half an hour. He said that they will wait for me. In nearly 25 minutes, I was at the landmark decided earlier, but no one from Airtel was present there.

I again called Mr Ravinder. He informed me that they will reach to my place within half an hour.

In the meantime, I made vigorous follow-up with Mr Ravinder and every time he said that they will reach to my place within 10-15 minutes, , , , but that time never came till now...

Finally, I called Mr Ravinder at 7:00 pm and he straightly said that the connection will not be shifted today in any case, as he was lacking with the number of colleagues.

BUT THIS IS NOT MY FAULT IF AIRTEL DOES NOT HAVE SUFFICIENT NUMBER OF STAFFS, AND THE MATTER CAN EASILY GO TO THE CONSUMER FORUM... WHICH I THINK THAT SHOULD BE TAKEN IN FRONT OF THE COURT...

I am attaching the recorded talk in between me and Mr Ravinder and request you to kindly clarify me clearly that what is going to be done from your side now in my case (please call on my mobile number given below only), because harassing a customer, who is always paying the bills in time, is really very much unfortunate and it seems that Airtel is now neglecting those customers, who really pay the bill in time and have no issues with Airtel. Please go through the attached recorded file and decide yourself where a customer is wrong or your service or executives are harassing the customers!!!

Because of your negligence, I am undergoing heavy losses and everyday my rental for the Airtel Broadband is being wasted... not only this, my earnings are also on a halt... only because of you people...

I feel that Airtel wants the customers to go to the court, , , so please be informed that if I am not wrong on my front, then why should I hesitate to take the issue in front of the court???

airtel land line connection at home — no incoming of isd calls

i am holding a land line air tel connection at my residence, at Bangalore, Karnataka, with telephone no. [protected]. Presently I am at Australia and calling the home, Since two days the home phone is not accepting the isd calls, and working for other calls. Please attend.

Airtel — pathetic service provided by the company

i am from mumbai i might have complaint about this many times but no response is been taken till now. i am not able to speak to the customercare.they say that your account is being deducted because u have activated something. when i ask for more information they just disconnect. i am not understanding what to do. i think i would have to lodge a complaint against the company in the consumer forum or otherwise just solve my query as quickly as possible.my mobile no is [protected].

I had airtel corporate connection. when I lost my mobile, , i requested to disconnect the connection.

They have promised me that within 7 working days the connection will be disconnected. My bills were paid by ECS facility.

But, after 2 months are also they have not disconnected the line and my ECS was getting deducted of the bill, which was not used by me.

Then, i thought atleast let me block the outgoing calls and called the customer care people to block the outgoing calls.And also, i had set an transaction password for all my transaction. Inspite of that, whoever had stolen was able to release the outgoing calls and use it. SO MUCH OF SECURITY.

Who is releasing these sensitive customer data? Is the system does not take care of all these things? how secure the customer's personal information, which is provided to this service provider?

After calling the customer care a lots of time, one of the customer representative has promised that the amount deducted from my account after the 7th day of my cancellation request would be refunded back to me.

But till now, no response for anyone. For no reason i had paid the bill for 3 months for the stolen number. and i really dont know whom should i contact for this issue.

Even i faced the same problem. when i lost my number, i raised the request for cancellation. But they have disconnected line also and ECS also. Even mine was corporate connection.

After 3 months of struggling with them, atlast i blasted one of the customer representative. It took approx. 1 to 1 1/2 hours transfering call from one to another department. Then they promised me that they will disconnect it in 24 hours and disconnected it.

But, I did not get any refund for the ECS they deducted from my account. I think, better even you have to forget about that money :(
Its better you should stop using this service provider. Now a days, almost all the airtel customer arr facing with one or the other issue.

I was holding 2 airtel numbers viz [protected] & [protected] on my name ( Utsav Kiran Dutta).
I had logged a request for permanent disconnection of both the mentioned numbers in 2007 but the same was never done.

On Both the Numbers, Airtel was continously sending me bills eventhough i had put the request long back.
Also on both the numbers Full & Final Settlement was done, Even though then i was receving calls from Airtel Advocates threatening me of Court Orders & Nasty Messages.

I dont understand even when the Full & Final Settlement was done once why Airtel was stupid enough to call me & Bug me.
Even Airtel Advocates threatened of sending my VISA cancellation request to Indonesian Embassy which was totally unfair.
I had to come from Indonesia to India on my expenses to go personally to Airtel Outlet.

As i talked to the Airtel representative there it was noticed that both numbers were active.

I REALLY DONT UNDERSTAND THAT IF ON BOTH NUMBERS Full & Final Settlement Was Done, How can Airtel keep it Active and continue sending Bills.

Think so Airtel is running a nasty gang to snatch money instead of a Telecom Company.

Very Very Unsatisified with Such a big brand name conpany.

Will see Airtel in Consumer Court.

AirTel — Pathetic Service from Airtel

I have a prepaid connection of Airtel. I reside in Pune. From almost past 2 months there is no netwrok coverage inour office premises. Also if there is a network coverage call does not get connected. Well in such a case the cell almost of no use. I have already launched a complaint in nearby airtel gallery but of no use. What should be done in such a condition? Why should bear the consiquences? Seriouly very pathetic service!!

Airtel — deactivation despite payment

I have made a payment of Rs 2500 vide receipt NO 22 on 27.01.2009 at Bangalore Residency Road AirTel Showroom but my line is still to be activated. .Despite repeated phone calls to customer care nobody is in a position to care for a customer and they tell whatever they feel like. When I contacted a senior officer after great difficulty, she said AIRTEL do not have any office in Bangalore and Chennai Numbers cannot be paid at Bangalore. . It clearly indicated inefficiency on the part of the senior staff and if that is the case how do they encourage collection centre at other places officially. we suffer due to inefficiency on the part of AIRTE:L Staff and they want us to fax/scan receipt copies and send it to them.

AirTel — Pathetic Service By Airtel.

I got free airtel sim card whose number is [protected] on the name of Santosh Kumar Dubey on purchase of mobile from planetm thane (w). I have recharged it with 50 rs coupon on which i get airtel to airtel 100 rs talk time and 50 rs other talk time.apart from that i have recharged with 10 rs coupon.
After 2 week it get activated any how by Airtel after long argument.As soon it get activated i found that
15 rs deducted for gprs where as i have not send any sms to them.When i complaint for the same they refund the amount. Later i send sms to activate GPRS which they activate immediatly but they send me wrong sms no for MO setting request on which i tried for an hour but not able to send the sms. Finally i raise request on customer care and told them the situation.He told me that if i am not able to recieve request within an hour they will refund the amount. I did not recieve mo setting after 24 hrs and they did not refund also. and also they block my customer care service and outgoing free sms to costomer care.
On calling 999 from airtel gallery, and too much argument they refund the amount. After 2 day again i send sms to acitvate GPRS which they activate but they block the airtel dial up connection. I send deactivate SMS on same night. and raise complaint [[protected]] on 1 feb 2009 on which no action has been taken till now and they deduct all my balance from my account.
I don't know how airtel service is still running based on this service.Strange!!!
The type of cheat is still being done by Air tel.i am sekar from chennai and my mobile no is [protected] .i charged with the booster pack of Rs 123 and the information provided in the IVR system was the booster has 3000 free sms.but when sms was sent it is being charged .when contacted it was informed that 3000 free sms had been removed already.all the dealers also selling the booster that 3000 free sms facility is existing.if free sms was not there i would have opted for booster Rs97.Rs 26 was swindled by Airtel .hoping to take up the issue with consumer forum soon.
One day I got an sms requesting me to contact Agarwal Info, Chennai if in case I need Airtel broadband connection. Guess it is a franchise of Airtel. The following were the nos mentioned in the sms:
[protected], [protected]. I called one of these no. as I was in need of Braodband connection. One guy named Harish picked the call. He asked for my address to check the feasiblity in my area as I resided in sholinganalur, Chennai. After an hour I got a call back from him stating me that it is possible for Airtel broadband connection at my home. He requested me to pay a sum of 500Rs to the marketing guy named Magesh. His mobile no. is [protected]. He got my photograph, 570 Rs from me and promised i will get the connection in 4 days time. Then 5th day I called him. He told me to talk with a guy named Krishnakumar who is also an employee of Agarwal info. His mobile no. is [protected]. He didnt respond properly. Every day I used to call him. He was jeep on dragging day by day. Then after 3 weeks time he told me to talk with his manager named Baskar. His mobile no. is [protected]. This guy checked with other team and told me that my house is 95M away from the dp box and it is not possible for them to give connection.
I asked him why the hell they checked for the feasiblity and got 570 Rs from me. He apologised and told that i can be moved to cancelation and I will be getting my money back in 10 days. Yesterday, suddenly Airtel people came to my home for installation. I called baskar why he told that it was not possible previiously. He again apologised and told that his team has achieved the target for the previous month. So, moved my application to next month. So, whatever these people said was not true. They are very big frauds. If you want to get a Airtel broadband connection please go to Airtel showroom direcly rather than going to franshise like Agarwal Info. Because of Agarwal Info., Airtel's name is getting spoiled though they provide good service. Now I go with TATA INDICOM.
Those people are not ready to cancel my connection too. Now my moeny is in vain. Could you please help me in getting the money back. In this world of recession 570 bugs is really a big money for me.

I 100% agree with you. may be more than that. i've had similar problems in getting proper answers. i think their training is also done by the same system which has so much limitations. none in the customer service department is able to take corrective action for the complaints we make, everything is dependent on the system and it shows how bad a system can be leading customers' plight.
