Aadhaar Card — consent for update

I have applied consent for update as i have change my mobile number. When i went to one of our registered centre they told me number will be changed in 24hrs. I m still waiting and it's not done yet. Plz do the needful at the earliest as i need that to be updated for an important work.

I just don't understand why does it take so long when i just wanted to change my number. I m really not satisfied
