ACT Fibernet — Refund process of my paid amounts (Account No: 631621)

On 11 Aug 2015, i had visited the Chandanagar branch of ACT Fibernet(Beam fiber) for getting details on my deactivation request and refund process of my money which i had already for 6 months pack. I had already my renewal for May 25th - Nov 25th (6 months) by paying 4017 on May 3. (Account number : 631621) Due to recent issues on wrong usage reports and worst customer services, i wanted to deactivate my request immediately and get the money refunded for remaining 3 months not going to be used.(Sept, Oct, Nov). As per Chandanagar Technical Lead person (dont know name), mentioned that just raise a refund ticket for this issue and we will get the refund processed within 15 days in form of Cheque to desired address that we need to have it. After raising the ticket, I am getting a call on 12th Aug 12 pm, saying that they cannot refund the amount at all and while i am explaining my case clearly to the representative, he hanged the phone call wantedly while i am still speaking to him. Being in same companies, each person says their own rules and playing games with customers. It had been 4 days now, no progress or calls are being done. I need the refund to be processed asap.

Hello Team,
I am experiencing the same issue where i have asked for a refund and they have not paid the amount and every time i call them they say 24 hrs some one from Finance team will call and re fund the amount, but no one calls.
Looks like ACT is a cheaters company and they want eat Customer money.
They have also blocked my number.
I will have to raise a consumer complaint on this and publish that ACT is Fraud company in all leading social media sites.
Pls help else i have to do this

I too faced the same issue.i paid money on 5/10/2020 and they said there is no feasibility, so i asked for refund on 10/10/2020 still i didnt get my money.several times i called, the lady who made me to pay is not taking my call and she is not responding properly.i called to customer care several times and each time, they are saying different thing.i am very much frustrated because you ACT fibernet.please refund my money soon. I payed 8, 209 for a 6 month plus one month free plan and the money was deducted but ur company only gave me one month i need a refund because the money is alot and i am not getting network and u have suspended my account plss i need a refund account no: 102642560196

On Aug 31st 2017, I asked them to cancel the connection and refund my money. I asked them to cancel the connection is because they were not able to do the installation to my home. By the time of taking money from me, the sales guy (Shikhil Gowda) told me that, if in case they are not able to do the installation they will refund me the entire amount.

After I raised the request for cancellation on Aug 31st 2017 till date 11th Sept I have not got any calls from them. Moreover, they have blocked my calls. I called the customer care number from my friend's number, the very next minute they have blocked his number as well.

I wanted to check the status of my refund. I sent email but not updates from that as well. Pavithra picked my call and told that I will be getting the refund call asap. But after the call, I have got the text message saying that my invoice has been raise for Rs 650 so out 1800rps that I have paid, they are gonna deduct 650 and pay me 1150. Why should I paid for the invoice when the installation itself has not happened.

I have opted for a new connection and I have paid for 6 months package of Rs.7000. Nobody contacted me for new installation and the sales person is not picking my call and customer care just assure me that it would resolve in 24 hours everyday i call for 5 days. So I raised ticket to refund my money and I have not heard anything since then. SR[protected] is my ticket number. And my mobile number is [protected].
I wish i could give 0 rating for you all, one of the horrible customer service, i requested for new connection last Wednesday and a representative came on the same day and i paid 7K for 6 months package, and till now no sign of installation, they dont even respond properly. Please let me know the refund process

My ACT account number is[protected] .I have placed the disconnection request/Refund request on 10th july by emailing to helpdesk.[protected]@actcorp.in as their customer care number always comes busy or sometime it keeps you waiting for more than 30 mintues and then suddenly disconnect. From 1 july to 10th july i was keep on trying to connect act customer care but it never connects and the worst part is that you will be keep on hearing that all customer care executive are busy for 30-45 min and it disconnects. I have wasted nearly 1 hour for 10 days.Then i thought of emailing the nodal officer (nodalofficer.[protected]@actcorp.in) or appellate authority might help but still no reply from them although i got replies from help desk with some SR number which was created for me and it will be resolved in some time with any actual action.Everytime they will close the SR in 1-2 days without even calling or doing anything .Its been 8 days i am sending email to act everyday amd will get some new SR that's all .The biggest mistake i did is i paid advance of 6 months which is 8476.89 and now i used Internet only for 1 month and it does not look like i will be able to get any refund . I don't know what to do for refund as i have tried all the possible ways.
I called customer service to disconnect my connection and refund me the remaining 2 months advance. I had already paid for 3 months and I have to discontinue before 2 months. First the customer service is very rude in the way they talk and then they directly refused to refund the 2 months extra. What is this policy? How does it even make sense? I can't even transfer the credit to another account.

I opted for ACT and paid full amount for 6 months on 5th of sep and its 15th today, the sales guy who took the money happily assured me i will get connection next day itself between 9 and 10 and its been 10 days now. the customer is as usual saying they will contact me within next 24 hours and 5 days passed like that.

i have asked for refund and no movement there too. this is very unprofessional from a company like this and wonder how they win business with cheating.

We've requested for the refund of our unused period for the ACT connection in Chennai 5 days ago after disconnecting their services.

While speaking to their customer support team, they said that the ticket is raised and the refund will be done within 1 to 3 working days. Today evening, the ticket got auto resolved without even refunding us the amount.

Tried calling their customer support team but they are a bunch of liars and they had some random excuses for each and every thing but not the solution. I can see the negative amount is shown in my account and they are not refunding.

I wish we could rely on them. Shame!

I am a customer of Act Fibernet and approached your customer service for a wifi connection but due to some unwanted issues from your staff and executives and could not get my connection. I had paid an amount of Rs.2884 and as the connection was not setup i canceled it, after cancellation of i received a message stating that "your refund request is registered with Ref SR[protected] .We will get in touch you within 24 hours for your bank details" but i didn't get any call from your side, i have been trying to get in touch with your customer care executives several number of times but i didn't see any response which is really sad from a customer point of view, Request you to kindly look into the matter and refund the purchase price as soon as possible.
I have paid money for installation but they are saying no feasibility before paying the money they said ok but last week has completed but they are not send my money back . They are totally wasted my time and money

I opted ACT fibrernet (BLAZE), paid 2899 Rs and I cant even speak to any agent and they blocked my number as well when tried again and again but confirmed if i paid when contacted an agent after waiting for 30 mins in queue I Have been calling them back to back - spoke to manoj, ashwini, likitha, barath, arun, praveen and some more agents - no one is able to do anything . they say they are waiting for account to be created so that they can then accept request for refund . But creating account itself takes more than 5 days and hence no reference number for your call even if I have paid.
They again confirm if i have paid (sandesh from escalation team I believe who confirmed that i have paid but least bothered after i said i paid). Sandesh reply was " yes yes . we will refund it takes time .. but you have paid right??.
I have the worst experience with act team please before u take the connection think twice rest is your choice...I have requested for internet on 21march 2020 as we have work from home sales person called so polite and professional he gave all the details (sales team-[protected]) he said we have to take 6 month plan as no other option so we made payment 5000k and he promised by Wednesday the net will be connected and activated.Now on 25 March 2020 we called the same guy the tone changed so rude that I even cant explain u whatever we asked when we will get connection he said today and Kamal ([protected])the engineer came and did the connection and in 2hours activation will be done after 4 hours we called Mr.kamal and he said sales person has not updated the documents so need to contact sales person, now we called the sales person and he said yes I forgot to update the documents so I will do it now and net will be activated by 8.30pm from that time he stopped receiving our call and whatapp also he is not checking...now we called the call center and they informed it will take more 3-4 working days.so my 10days is gone...when asked for refund he is telling some1 will call.what is this actually going on scam joke with customers we are lockdown need that's the reason paying 5000 in 1go...I want my complete amount to be refunded and action to be taken towards the sales person all cheap tricks they will do before sale and after sale 2 different person they become...I want the connection to be done in 1 day or refund of complete amount.once everything will open I will complete in higher authority dont think we are weak we are consumers...

I experienced very bad service from ACT Team. I paid 3 months advance with installation charges. Tried to reach the person who advised me to pay through ACT APP. But he is not responding my call. Now I need refund my total amount which paid. Also I am ready to give complaint against ACT internet provider with 4 for my friends who faced same issue.
The service process after the payment is very slow and the installer won't receive the calls, I have waited 1 week after payment but there is no proper response and not test finished the process. I hade a worst experience with act service rendered.

I paid Rs 7498 for ACT fibernet on 23 May 2020 for 6 months. No one called me post that for connection. Their customer care does not work. Call will go only after 30 minutes and they will give false promises. I requested to cancel my connection and till date i.e 10 June 2020 waiting for refund. Mails to nodal officers have no reply. Not sure how they are running the business.

I took ACT fibernet connection on 12-Apr-2020 by paying 6 months advance of Rs.5146.58. From 3-June-2020, their service was unavailable and I tried reaching out to their customer care multiple times, but no proper response for more than a week and I requested for disconnection on 14-June-2020. Disconnection request was created and the respective POC closed the request without disconnecting my connection. I realized that the connection was still in active state even after 2 weeks and I requested for disconnection again on 27-June-2020 and it was disconnected after 3 days. I requested for refund and they refunded me only 3 month payment.

I used their service only till 2-June-2020 (Hardly 50 days). But they charged me for 3 months. I am unable to reach out to them from my mobile (seems they blocked my number) and everytime I can contact them only from my friend's number and they either disconnect the call / put it on hold in the middle of the conversation. Till now, I am unable to receive my refund for 40 days o[censored]nused service.

My experience with ACT :
1. Worst Service Provider
2. Worst Customer care
3. No proper system in place to connect with customer care and get our queries resolved
4. Not a transparent and loyal service
5. They loot my money and they dint refund it till date. No proper response too

Please don't go for ACT fibernet service
