Venkatesh (Mobile No. [protected]) from ACT called me for ACT Internet service. He communicated to me that he will get me a new connection within 3 – 4 days on 02/08/2015. He took an appointment on 03/08/2015 at 12:00 PM; he never turned up and didn’t receive my calls. Later in the evening, he called me and he told me that he was busy and he will come on 04/08/2015. He came and collected the documents after an hour from the appointment and ensured that he will get me a new connection within 3 – 4 days within in my availability time. I gave him my availability time i.e. before 2 PM.
I got a call on 04/08 for installation and I gave them an appointment at 12:00 PM on 05/08, no one came for installation. I called helpdesk and raised a complaint for not coming and the response of helpdesk is, “we still have time to install and they will pass the information to sales team.” I said to them, “If you have a time why to take an appointment and waste my time. If you are not able to come why can’t you communicate?” I also communicated to them my availability time. No one came on the next day i.e. 06/08. I spoke to helpdesk, they communicated that they will pass the information to sales team and they will raise a complaint. I spoke to Venkatesh, the representative who collected money and he told me that he will get it installed on 07/08 before 2:00 PM. I called at 12:30 PM as a reminder to Venkatesh, he told, he will talk to his technical team. No one turned up, I started calling him from 1:30 PM and he didn’t receive my calls and he didn’t respond to my calls and messages. Later I spoke to helpdesk at 2:15 PM, they are saying that they will come and install today, I asked them how will you install, when I am not available at my place after my availability time. The lady also responded that they still have a time to respond the complaint I raised. She is trying to say today is the day to install after my availability time and she is also saying, they still have a time to respond to the complaint I raised, it is 3 days from the complaint date. Also they are not ready to refund my money immediately; it will take 15 – 20 days to refund as per their own policy after their failure.
ACT team bluffs and misleads people with wrong communication and they don’t keep the appointment. There is a lack of communication between the sales team, helpdesk and technical team. Due to the delay from these people, I have to get other service for a short time, an extra expense. They created their own procedure for re-fund as well. They want money immediately and they don’t give back others money when they failed to do the service.
Be careful with Venkatesh (Mobile No. [protected]), he don’t even respond to your calls once you pay him. He is bluffing and cheating people by misguiding with wrong information.
