[Resolved]  Airtel — [protected] unwanted messages each day

I have been using the Aitrtel prepaid service for the past week and have been receiving anywhere from[protected] unwanted messages each day. Most of the messages (> 99%) provide zero information and I have listed it below: LastCall Charge Rs. 0.00, Last Call Duration 00:00:00, Current balance Rs. XXX.XX. For instant help please dial *121# I have called their customer care number (121 and 198) a minimum of 100 times and have even visited their relationship center to get this problem resolved but have failed. The message I got from the relationship center in Rajajinagar, Bangalore was to turn of cellular data, which is a very dumb thing to say as I'm paying for the service and unable to get application updates and e-mail message updates on my phone. The customer support section is horrible and the support personnel simply cutoff the calls if they are unable to help, which in this case is most of the time.
