[Resolved] Airtel — 4G sim swap issues | |||||
This is in regard to the free 4G SIM card that was couriered to me for up-gradation from 3G to 4G. I had received the SIM on 29/12/2016. I made a SIM change request for Airtel mobile no. on 29/12/2016. I received an email in my registered mail id that the SIM for my airtel no. has been changed successfully.But when I inserted the new SIM card, the network doesn't show. I called up customer care from a colleague's airtel no. as airtel becomes practically unreachable from other networks instead in cases of reporting of lost SIM and for taking a new connection. The customer care was no help at all. I have a Lenovo K3 Note that is 4G enabled yet I am unable to receive network. I have also sent mails regarding this issue but I received the same automated response that the new SIM was active on my no. It has been 5 days now and still no network, no outgoing or incoming services, still the mail from Service Specialist of Airtel says the services are working fine from their side. I want my no. to be reverted back to 3G, as I have already witnessed the so called airtel 4G services, or any possible solution by 02/01/2016. If not done so, then please don't expect me to pay for the postpaid connection as the services are not active on my side. Was this information helpful? | |||||

Hello, I have received a 4g Airtel sim 2 days back and sent a message to 121 saying . But, up until now, I have received more than a 100 flash messages saying, we are unable to process your request. Network bars show there is network but in no way can I put forth a call or send a message and the same goes for incoming too. The old sim stopped working too. I would like to receive an immediate remedy to this situation. It is annoying to be living without a network for even a day.
