[Resolved] Airtel — Airtel 3 G Dongle cancelled earlier but they continued service- Big Fraud | |||
I called Airtel Customer care number and cancelled my Airtel 3G dongle([protected]) on 25th January, 2014(4.30 PM) itself. Customer care representative responded that the cancellation is confirmed and the usage amount till that date was Rs.136.Since security deposit Rs.500 is there, they would deduct Rs.136 from Rs.500. He further replied that he would send remaining amount by cheque to my address.Since I needed to travel to US next day I completed the process.But I received a mail on 22nd February for the period 20-Jan-2014 to 19-Feb-2014, asking me to pay full amount Rs.955.06.I sent a mail to [protected]@in.airtel.com. Customer care person called Varsha replied that i have to pay the full amount and they will cancel it now.Is Airtel Customer care number a big joke? Airtel is doing this purposely to generate revenues.They won't check details even.Please mail me for the further follow up ([protected]@gmail.com).(I am currently in US and don't use my India number).
