Airtel — Airtel Payment Bank account freezed | |
I made Airtel Payment account and details were filled incorrectly first time. When I tried to do DTH recharge of 250, the amount was debited from my actual bank and Airtel Payment Wallet got credited, but transaction was not completed as Airtel has freezed the account. I am unable to edit the profile details, and don't remember DOB given in that. This is very surprising that Airtel Wallet is allowed to add money but there is no outgoing transaction allowed. Atleast whatever is amount in Wallet, that should be allowed to spend without any KYC. I have the mobile number, mPIN with me but still can't do any transaction with 250 rupees in wallet. Customer care is unable to help. This is a horrible experience, and Airtel cannot keep the money locked in this way, if it is already debited from original bank. They are also not reversing the transaction which is the easiest solution. Was this information helpful? | |
