[Resolved] Airtel — Balance deduction due to 2 services self activated by airtel | |||
Follo up service and fashion and glam activated on my no and balance deducted, couldnt check msgs till today so my bal was getting deducted on daily basis for fashion and glam @ rs5 and for follow up service @ 35 for 7 days. Starting from 26 of july for fashion and glam and 27 for follo up . Found about it today, deactivated it and called cust care and requested and then enquired whts this service but they have no idea and tried to tell me that they are deducting this amount from my bal for some pages i might have visited on google and accepted which i didnt as the services got activated in odd time when i would have been sleeping which you can see in msgs i recvd and which will be given below. When i got a lil angry as how can they pay to 3rd party from my ac bal from my airtel ac, then they refunded 45 rs, ..though my total bal deducted should be around120 (2 weeks*35+ 10days*5 ). For this case as i came to know about it. Seems like again the old ways have restarted in airtel for earning wrongful money but auto debits.the msgs were as follows : 1. FOLLO ALL WEEK service has been renewed on your Airtel [protected]@Rs35.0 for 7days.To deactivate, Call or SMS STOP to 155223. .For more services, call 56789 or click http://56789.airtel.in Than deactivated it today as soon as i saw the messages.as i generally dont check the messages regularly due to so many spam and useless messages coming regularly. What about the remaing amount which should have been refunded but was not, even though i explained than i am not from a village and have been using mobile since last 10-12 years and m with airtel sibce last 4 years, and unknowingly activating a service could have been a viable excuse till year 2007 but not in year 2016, as now people are aware of these traps and tricks and faults which were made but people earlier by mistake. These things cannot happn in todays market and specialy in case of cities. Plz look into the matter and refund the remaing amount, also try to avoid such instance and people are not so foolish as in the past and now mnp is also available. Was this information helpful? | |||

Today from my account too. Airtel guys debited 5/- . And I go through the Google then I find this conclusion. So actually I can put a case on them in consumer Court for thefting public people's money. It's actually a crime, as criminal act we can file a cheating case against you AIRTEL. Too bad for you.

Airtel is completly a thief. Previously they used to pump out money from customers by selling 1 GB data at Rs.400+, and presently they are doing it by activating services, without user's consent. More than Rs.200 was deducted from my mom's account, who do not want any kind of services offered through Whatsmob service. If Airtel is a company, having a proper code of conduct, they should refund the money back.
