After delaying for 3 weeks, airtel executive finally told me that connection is not possible in my house.
So, I have raise refund request. Also sent screenshot of cancelled cheque.
Please let me know the status of the refund.

Hi my name is valmik and i am staying in bangalore, hsr layout. I booked for new broadband connection on 28th October 2016. They took 1000 Rs. deposit (TBLR7251639) from me and said the connection would start in 3 days. Then after 1 week they told me that connection is not possible and I would be refunded my money. I followed up with multiple calls and 20-25 emails to their nodal and appellate authority. Its been three months and still I havent been refunded any money.
Airtel is running a scam of collecting deposit amount and not refunding it. Never use their broadband.

Airtel is cheating the people and looting the money.
They even had not refunded my 3297 broadband connection money till now even after 2 months.
Guys please help me to spread this message so other people will not caught in this fraud.
Guys do not pay in advance for Airtel broadband else you will also face similar issue and Airtel will harass you badly.
Better use another broadband provide and pay only after installation of broadband.

The worst provider ever, fraud and cheaters. I made the payment on 1st may 2017, amount Rs. 2700, hoping to get the connection asap. But after few days they decided not to provide the connection as my society not allowing new connection from Airtel, my society also knows what these guys are. Then I asked for refund, so it's been over 20 days now and no sign of refund. I provided them the cancelled cheques with my name on it.
Still no response. Every week I get a call from one of their robotic kind of rep saying "apko hui asuvidha ke lie hume khed ha" and tell me to wait for a week, this has been happening from last 2 weeks and this week also. I'm taking legal action very soon, guys I request... Ask for the compensation amount for which you guys are going through also ask for the interest in our amount for not receiving your money on time. Im going today to visit one of their office today in noida and I will let them know who I'm.

I am premkumar.D have requested for a board band connection and have submitted advance a sum of rs 5oo/= by cheque on union bank of india, bearing cheque no 048683 dt 13/08/2017 the same has been debited in my a/c on 25/08/2017 my reference no.4427525. It was locked by your staff one mr.Madhu, cell no.[protected] as the broad band connection service was not feasable in my area. So i request you refund the (deposit) amount in my account or send cehque in my address immediately.

Airtel is the ### service possible in Bangalore for broadband. They lie to you about connection and provide no feasible options for refund. I purchased an Airtel plan for 6018 rupees and paid that amount online. The executives kept lying to me about the delivery date and their CUSTOMER CARE people told me that it will be done soon. Now I am out of money also and the CUSTOMER CARE executive gives no ## about complaints. This should be taken to consumer court. Your service needs to be shut down.

I am dealing with a similar problem where in i had paid for a new connection and am waiting for a efund for last 3 months. Despite numerous attempts to reach airtel, they have not responded. After reading this forum, It seems like they have made a business out of it, misguiding consumers and not returning their money back.
I am looking forward to file a case against them in Consumer Court . My brother is a lawyer himself practising in Supreme Court. if anyone else here is interested, please contact me on [protected]@gmail.com(+[protected]).
Let's raise our voice against this money sucking company and bring it to the notice of judiciary. Will also start campaign over social media to boycott airtel services.
