[Resolved]  Airtel — broadband too slow even though repeated complaints. no response from customer care

Airtel is proving to be the worst customer service provider. I had a dth for which i have repeatedly complained and still it is not resolved.

Now my broadband has serious issues and it is still not attended to.

I have been complaining since 10th june 2017 and i am yet to get back from the customer service.

My broadband is very slow since it has 4mbps speed and the airtel person has asked me to change to 40mbps speed i will beed to change the modem.

Till date no one has come to attend us with any solution.
They had sent a cartoon to check the issue, and he walked in and walked out and refused to even speak to the customer care to explain the issue.

The speed is very slow & we are paying rs. 1500/- per month for no internet.

As always airtel only knows to cheat.

This is the only airtel product i have and hoping to throw it away as well. Totally disappointed.

Dear Airtel,

Even after repeated explanations and calls to your customer care with regards to this, I had an agent named Shiva visit us. And the sad part is he was informed that our landline is not working. Appalled by this miscommunication and bad services.

Please inform that our internet is not working and we don't have the adequate speed.

Dear Airtel

I wonder what resolution details have you shared. Till date no one has visited us for any resolution. This is not accepted. As per our telephonic conversation with airtel customer care agent Ms. Janaki on 10th June 2017, she promised resolution (change of modem within 20days) no one has come till date. And it is more than 45days

So please get this sorted asap

After persisting for long finally the modem was replaced with D link modem with good speed during 2nd week of august.

The speed indeed is great now.

Refer my other complaint which is is still not resolved with regards to airtel digital tv refund of ₹1782.

Below is latest update and steps taken by a helpless customer.

It's been more than 4 months since the set top box has been taken away and we were promised a refund of ₹1782 on my credit card which was used to purchase the connection.
Last month airtel claimed via mail that amount was credited to my ccard on 31/5/[protected]@1847, which I denied.
They asked me to mail them all statements till date to verify that amount not credited.
In spite of doing so there is no reply from them.(ref pics)
I have made several calls to customer care to seek a reply and closure but no use.
Latest open complaints in this regard are 64863035 raised by Shubham and 64507119 raised by Rubini.
I am completely helpless in dealing with this and hence have decided to take below steps till issue is closed and I receive my refund.

"My airtel broadband outstanding amount for this month is ₹3066. I have decided to paid them only ₹1284 as on date post deducting ₹1782 towards my digital tv refund. As customers are being held to ransom, I found this one way to get back to airtel as let them sort it out amongst their departments."}

Once I get my refund from airtel digital tv for ₹1782, I would be paying the same amount as part of the bill. Else let both departments sort it out.

Airtel broad band is as pathetic as it goes. The third party agents come and try to do some trouble shooting and change the router and then again back to square one. I have been waiting patiently for a permanent fix to the issue and seems like once there is load put on the bandwidth it disconnects and reboots the wifi router and then it does not connect. The Airtel app in the iPhone store is not current and so the issue to buy extra bytes too is an issue. I have also logged into Airtel.in to see if I can buy smart bytes however, that too does not work. Airtel needs to get the load balancers and the connectivity issue resolved else this months bill is something I am not paying. I got a reliance jio connection and finally end up using that now since Airtel does not work when needed.
