Airtel — Complaint Against Airtel for Misleading 5G Benefits & Incorrect Charges

Dear Sir/Madam,
I, Arnab Dasthakur, am writing to lodge a formal complaint against Airtel regarding misleading service claims and incorrect billing.
On 24 March 2026, I recharged my mobile number [protected] with ₹3599 (365 days validity plan).
Transaction ID: T2603242038012400918356
As per the plan details, “Unlimited 5G Data” and “Free Hellotunes” were clearly mentioned benefits.
However, despite being in a stable 5G network area and continuously connected to a 5G network, my data is getting exhausted after 2GB per day. This directly contradicts the advertised “Unlimited 5G Data.”
Additionally, I have been charged for Hellotunes, even though it was mentioned as a free benefit in the plan.
I have contacted Airtel multiple times, but I have only received generic responses without any proper resolution. I would like to clearly state that:
I am using a 5G-enabled device.
I am in a location with continuous 5G network availability (no fluctuation to 4G).
The issue still persists without resolution.
This reflects clear misrepresentation of services and unfair trade practices.
I request the following actions:
Activation of true unlimited 5G data as promised.
Refund of 3599.
Compensation for inconvenience and misleading information.
I am attaching supporting documents, including screenshots and transaction details, for your reference.
I request you to take strict action against the service provider and ensure a fair resolution at the earliest.
