Airtel — Complaint against the Airtel Postpaid mobile Services

With deep dissatisfaction, I would like to lodge a complaint against the Airtel
Postpaid mobile Services. I own a connection and for checking 3G internet with SMS i.e(DATA USE to 121) its giving same message for last15-17 days that my current data uses is only 95.31 MB is used from 3.87 GB, which i know its wrong because in cell phone its showing more and my connection is my family plan which is having 2 numbers with it so for counting correct use I have to depend on SMS.

Here are my grievances towards the process:

I requested this thing to customer care on 121 on 02 Oct 2015 and a lady answered from Customer care, I asked the current uses she given me same information that its 95.31 MB and when I told her that is not correct and the whole scenario she replied me that is problem coming from last 10-15 days and our back end is working on it, so I asked the lady then why she first told me that uses is 95.31 Mb instead of that she can give me correct information that there is a issue with every person so it will take time, but instead of that she start giving me rebuttals and getting rude and raising her voice and then asked her to launch the complain she taken the request with reference ID: 65325593, F[protected] and she told me that back end team will get back to you in next 24 hours .

Next day i did’t got a call but got a email and SMS that my issue is resolved,
I was shocked that what the hack it is without my confirmation how you can close the complain???

This is in reference to your email enquiring on incorrect data usage on your airtel mobile number 9xxxxx3.

I have verified your account and noted that you are having 3.87GB 3G data free there after speed reduced to 20 Kbps. The same is a unlimited data plan. As I have noted that you have consumed 95.31 in the total benefit of 3962.88 MB.

To track data usage on your airtel mobile, all you need to do is SMS DATA USE to 121. Alternatively, you may dial *121*114#.

Install the latest update of airtel app on your mobile. The latest version of airtel app allows you to check your data usage, set alerts, view unbilled usage and outstanding bill amount.

You can download the myairtel application by any one of the following means:
a. Visit m.airtel.in/myairtel or airtel.in/myairtel
b. Visit google play & search for airtel app & download the app.
c. SMS MYAIRTEL to 54321.

After reading this email i was thinking that service specialist its a robot or a person??? Then i called customer care 121 again on 03rd Oct 15, a man taken the call and said me that we have to close the request in 24 hours so the team has closed the request and they called you on your number and alternate number but they were Off, i told them that it’s a complain and without the confirmation of customer how you can close it with this type of reason then he said he is taking the complain again for this and back end team will check it and call me in next 2 working days (complain id:[protected], i was not satisfied with this so i went to Airtel store which is at Mangalam fun square, durga nursary road Udaipur, there i explained all this thing to the CRO and told him to make a preferred complain for this and also take action against the person who wasted my time on 121, also asked him to make change to my plan to 999 from 799 and also to reset the Data pack and free minutes pack with changing the secondary number to yearly (199 or 200) but instead of helping me out they given a very good reason that there Ultra net is not working and they can’t help and they told me to go to another Airtel Express store which is at sector 6 main road udaipur and there was a lady who was very rude and unkind without listing my proper issue asked me to go and get a photo copy for identity card, i asked her is that Airtel store people can’t give a photocopy service to customer ??? she rudely reply No go and get the photocopy by your self, and when i came back instead of listing me she asked me to write the phone number and all problem on that photo copy (to make change to my plan to 999 from 799 and also to reset the Data pack and free minutes pack with changing the secondary number to yearly (199 or 200) and then there team will process it in next 4 hours. I asked her that they can do it now, but she refused to do it. And now on 04rth Oct after getting all frustration still no action was taken for my request,

This is weird and I want to settle this as soon as possible. I am highly dissatisfied with Airtel
