Airtel — complaint on airtel for the long time unresolved landline payment issue.

Sir/mam,
I am jayadaarini, a loyal long time customer of airtel. I have been using airtel fixed line service for the past eight months. I am a regular payer of bills. I paid the bills for the months of april and may which were rs.596 and rs.1066 respectively. I was persistently informed through sms to the registered mobile that i have not paid the bills of those two months. I mailed to [protected]@airtel.com and [protected]@in. Airtel.com regarding the issue for about 15 times. As a reply, i received a call from airtel and they just confirmed whether i have complained and that person informed me that they will look into it within two days. But, there was no follow up after that. After some more mails that i sent, there was a reply to my mail that they would look into it within four days. again, there was no follow up. Due to lock down, the airtel customer care 198 did not respond. Once the lock down was relaxed, i contacted the nearby airtel office which is situated in perambur, chennai. I provided them a photo of my bank pass book which contained the details of my payment.
I requested a name transfer of my fixed line account in the month of february after my payment for that month from my mother's name to my father's name for the convenience of payment. The name transfer was done so smoothly without any issues for which i i felt proud of being an airtel customer. But, when i contacted the airtel office for the above said payment issue, i was informed that there would be a change in the airtel fixed line account number after the name transfer. While i pay my bill in the airtel website, i need to enter only my registered mobile number or my landline number which did not undergo any change after the name transfer. Also, i was not given a new fixed line account number from airtel after the name transfer. It was completely out of my knowledge that there would be a change in the account number after the name transfer.
i was said by an airtel official that due to the change in the account number after the name transfer, there was a problem in the payment. They confessed that the problem was completely on their side. The issue was caused internally in their system.
As i provided a photo of my passbook, they said that the issue will be met as soon as possible. After four days, they called me again saying that the photo is not clear and that they need a pdf of the bank statement. I took all efforts to download sbi yono app and to get a pdf of my bank statement. Since, it contained my bank balance and other details, i edited the pdf by hiding those details and i sent them the edited pdf. After two days, they said they want an unedited pdf. My father was unwilling to provide. So, they gave me an email id to escalate the issue to the nodel officer. I mailed the nodel officer with all the necessary details and documents. I received a seemingly auto generated mail asking my complaint id. Again i mailed them with the complaint id that my airtel issue attender in the airtel office provided me. Again, i received the same seemingly auto generated mail asking my complaint id. Whatever message i sent them, i received the same reply repetitively. Again, i contacted my issue attender. He said that they could not do anything more unless i send my unedited bank statement and my debit card details. My father did not accept to take the risk of sending the card details and the bank balance details. as a result, my fixed line connection was disconnected by airtel.
Will anybody accept to reveal their private bank details to a private network company? I guess nobody would accept.in spite of having paid my bills, i was made to wander from pillar to post. This issue has taken two full months. My ample time was uselessly wasted. Still, my issue is not resolved after so much tedious efforts. I am now suffering and struggling without proper internet source to attend my online classes. My father being an airtel customer for nearly 15 years, i and my family as loyal customers do not deserve such a worse treatment from airtel. i request you to take up my complaint on airtel and i would want to resume my fixed line connection immediately. I would also want airtel to accept my previous payments and clear my issue to pay my bill of this month
