I have bought 12 gb plan for few days. As I am using to watch few videos my plan of 1.5 gb per days wasn't enough. It has not been merely 3 days and my whole 12 gb is almost finished. Left with only 1 gb. I come home after work to watch technical videos, that too with low resolution Cuz I have been reading that airtel is cheating with data. Auto update and auto download for all apps are always off except whatsapp and gmail. I realized now as this is really absurd. Hence, to verify, I opened airtel xtreme app, changed the resolution to lowand watched a show. And alas! 1 hr 24 min video is normally around 1 - 2 gb. Now check this, I am into 24 mins that too I skipped few moments and my whole 1.5 gb data per day is used. I received messages from airtel, from 50 percent to 100 percent data being used in 10 mins.. I mean this is really a joke. With all my apps off, only airtel xtreme video running that too in low resolution. Airtel is definitely cheating. I have been using this service for almost about 3 years and plus. But I am so much disappointed with this now. I used to get such messages before I had called customer support but all they say it could be due to apps and technical issues but I wasn't paying much attention to it. Well now I am really really disappointed. I didn't expect this from them. I have to switch to someone who doesn't cheat customers like this.
