Airtel — Debit freeze issue of airtel money account

I registered on airtel money wallet this month however when i am trying to initiate any transfer from my account, it shows debit facility has been disabled in my account. The number is [protected]. I have submitted all valid identification documents as per KYC norms to the airtel money email id. I dont know what kind of foul play is going on, they are just trapping people to use airtel money to receive gifts in form of cash for shopping and spending and paying bills, and once you get the money in wallet, they will stop the debiting. My wallet is not even a month old. And got a lot of balance, and now they have blocked it. They are now asking me to send to them the sender's bank account statement. Is it even logical? Why on earth will the sender share the bank a/c statement and as we know these details are very sensitive and confidential. Airtel assured me number of times for a proper resolution. But this aint a resolution even. I run the account, the account is in my name, i am the authorized person, i have submitted my verification documents. But when the company is here to loot me, how can i save my back? IF YOU ARE READING THIS, I EARNESTLY REQUEST YOU, NEVER EVER TO USE AIRTEL MONEY. ITS A BIG SCAM, SOMETHING AKIN TO THE SHARDHA SCAM OF WEST BENGAL. Dont let Airtel fool you again.

The stupid guys who are sitting in customer care are just passing time they don, t have minimum knowledge and idea about the products and resolution timings. some stupids agents are putting calls on hold continuously without any response.

I sincerely request you all to avoid Airtel payments bank because it a fraud one and Airtel people also dont no how to run the payments bank.

Same issue I'm also facing and you guys are not working on the resolution. ₹49657.50 is stucked in my account. I'm not able to use it.
Unfreeze my account please.
The same thing happened to me, a year ago I added some Rs 17, 000 to my Airtel bank account which I use for paying bills for our Airtel post-paid mobile accounts. Recently I started getting an error and the customer service at Airtel told me that my account is in 'Debit freeze' and asked me to submit proof of ID and address proof which I did, now they are asking for Aadhar card number which I as a NRI cannot get, in fact Indian Govt has prohibited NRIs (foreign citizens) from getting an Aadhar card since it subsidizes certain payments for Indians. Now Airtel, one of the biggest telecom company in India has left me high and dry, basically its daylight robbery if they are going to keep my money as a basis of not having Aadhar card, its all a scam since they should have asked for all such ID information BEFORE opening a bank account, even now the scam continues since they will allow me to deposit money in this account, but will not allow me to use the same for debit transactions such as paying bills that will benefit their own company.

यही मेरे साथ हुआ सालों ने मेरा आकउण्टf भी फ्रीज कर दिया। उसमें 500 रूपये हैं। मुझसे कह रहे हैं कि आपका आधार व पैनकार्ड डालो वो भी मैने डाल दिये फिर भी मेरा वॉलेट अकाउण्ट चालू नही हुआ। कस्ट मर केयर वालों को कुछ नहीं आता कोई कुछ कहता है तो कोई कुछ। भाइयो मरा सभी से निवेदन है कि कोई भी एयरटेल वॉलेट और बैंक यूज नहीं करें। और मै चाहता हूं कि इनके खिलाफ कडी कार्यवाही होनी चाहिए। जब कुत्तोंं को डेबिट फ्रीज करना ही है तो साथ के साथ क्रेडिट फ्रीज क्यों नहीं करते। इसी से स्पिष्टज होता है कि ग्राहक खाते में पैसे डाल दे और निकाल नहीं पाये और उन रूपयों को ये साले अपनी मां चुदाने के काम में लें [protected] मेरा अकाउण्‍ट न0 था

I signed up on myAirtel app and added money to my wallet but neither I am able to make any payment with that nor it is getting transferred to any bank account.
What the hell is this? Each time it is saying debit is freeze. Attached is the screenshot to that.

Even i have send them mail twice but there is no response from their side.

Good Afternoon!

This is bring in your notice that I'm being mentally harassed by Airtel Payment Bank for last one month.

I added Rs 10000 in my airtel wallet account number [protected] to make a payment but it got stuck just after adding the amount and whenever I tried to make payment it says "Debit is not allowed on your account". I lodge the complaint for the same to Airtel payment bank on January 01, 2018 but didn't get any response and visited the Airtel store (Karnal) but the guys sitting over there told me that KYC is need to be done for Airtel Payment Bank of your account to unlock the account/transactions and it's not possible for 15 days as servers are not working for it.

After 15 days, I visited again but the same thing happened and I was told to send the mail to "[protected]@airtelbank.com" regarding the issue. I did the same and sent the mail to airtel payment bank on January 17, 2018 for either reverse the amount to my bank (Citi Bank) from where it got debited or unlock the account so that I can make transactions.

On January 19, 2018 I got the mail from Airtel Payment Bank on required documents. As per their request, I sent all the required documents (Adhar Card and PAN Card) to them but didn't get any response or solution to my issue till now.

I have visited to Airtel store and sent many mails after that to them, even their grievance officer at grievance.[protected]@airtelmoney.in but didn't get any response from them as of now.

I'm still not able to use my amount for the transactions and facing major financial issues due to it, It's been over a month and I'm being mentally harassed by Airtel Payment Bank Ltd.

Please do find the attached screenshot of error and do take the necessary action so it could be resolved as soon as possible.

It's really very disappointing services from Airtel so far.

This is the worst service i ever experienced. I am a student who dont earned a single paisa and with all trust i put my my 5000 rs in Airtel payment bank account. and now it is stuck in there and i cant even get it back. Really very disappointed and frustrated with Airtel. I am an old customer of Airtel but now i think i have to leave it.

They freezed my account too. I don't know how many people facing this problem. seriously that really awesome. ban airtel money
Airtel Payment Bank is very poor service.

They freeze my account, I have mailed but no response. no customer executive on toll free number. only wallet facility details.

I am waiting to unlock the account. once, I will withdraw and close the account.

Account open though Aadhar verification in 5 minutes and unfreeze account 5-7 days. No care of customer.

Government should take action. on Airtel Payment Banks. I have submitted the document on store but they need 5-7 days for defreeze the account.

I have add Rs. 578/- in airtel wallet on dt. 8/6/2019. When I want to pay my bills or use the virtual card on merchant outlet message show that this account debit has not allowed. I contact the customer care by emai to [protected]@airtel.in. They have requied id proof, bank statemnt. I have provided the same. But till now no any response from their. My wallet has freeze till now. It seems that its a fruadent activity by airtel money.

This is the worst service i ever experienced. my account freeze without any notice. customer care me call kro to sale bolte hai system n chal raha hai. i bought three fast tag by airtel payment bank i can't understand why they freeze my account i did transaction. saale harami hai i advise everbody not usded airtel payment bank Really very disappointed and frustrated with Airtel. I am an old customer of Airtel but now i think i have to leave it.
