Airtel — debiting amount from my account without my consent | |||||
On 17.11.2017, my number [protected] received a message from at-airsep stating "videopindw service has been activated @ 0.0 for 1 day (S). Txn id n[protected], 17nov17 7:52. Etc." After my recharge of rs.50 on 18.11.2017, my account was credited with rs.39 Soon i've received a message from same sender at-airsep stating""videopindw service has been renewed on your airtel mobile @ rs.30 for 7 days. Etc.'" Atonce rs.30 was debited from my account. We neither activated, nor gave our consent. While asking the same via 198, they told that it was activated by us through net browsing. The irony is that the mobile is a basic model, and we never use net on it. Even after repeated questions, they failed to provide the modus operandi. They simply said that they can stop the vas but can't refund the amount debited without my consent". How can they debit the amount from my account without my consent? A year back same thing happened.
