[Resolved]  Airtel — Delayed termination and fraud bill for the extended period

I had taken airtel broadband connection from mahesh (Airtel field representative phone no [protected]) at ip extension on june'16. Due to my shifting i requested to shift the connection to my current address e 40, south anarkali, new delhi -110051.

Airtel informed me that they can not shift the connection to that address as they don't provide the service at that locality.

So immediately i requested to terminate the connection.
After that i received another call regarding "if i want transfer to some one", "if there is any friend i have i want to transfer the connection", etc. Then nothing happened and realized by the end of feb that my connection is still active and generating bills for that.

So i have been informed by a customer care representative that i have a pending bill of rs800.
When i requested to share that bill, neither i received an email and nor any physical copy (However the physical address that customer care updated was wrong e41 instead of e40).

Last week some guy came to me to collect modems and other hardware informing that it is formality with out showing any document. Navneet (Phone no [protected]).

My concerns -
when i had taken the connection, i was informed the rs 1000 is security fees and will be refunded upon termination. When i requested for that during termination process they informed that nothing such procedure exists. The modem and router that i have are mine. No refund will be provided.
airtel has generated a bill of rs 800 (I assume, because i haven't received the bill yet) for a period which they haven't provided a service. If they are not able to provide service at certain locality how can they claim a bill for that.
Lastly this person who came today came to me without any valid document in the name of hardware collection and informed me that the security money can be adjusted from the bill. This contradicts your previous verse.
So i am looking for resolving the issue through proper channel.
also this last person neither came with proper documents nor airtel officially communicated anything.

I intend to resolve this issue consumer forum as escalation to the following email ids failed - nodal. [protected]@airtel.in and apellate. [protected]@airtel.in
