I requested to transfer my Airtel eSIM from one device to another while I am currently in Canada. I followed the exact process provided by Airtel customer care and received an eSIM QR code via email.
After scanning the QR code, my old SIM was deactivated, but the new eSIM has not activated even after 48+ hours. My number is now completely inactive with no signal on both old and new devices.
This is a critical issue as I have been using this number since 2009–2010, and it is linked to all my bank accounts in India. I am currently unable to access banking services or complete transactions due to lack of OTP access.
Actions already taken:
- Contacted Airtel customer care
- Sent emails to [protected]@in.airtel.com and appellate authority
- Tried resolving via Airtel Thanks app (no access to live agent)
- Visited Airtel store in Dehradun through family (no resolution provided)
Despite multiple attempts, no solution has been provided.
I request immediate resolution:
1. Reissue a working eSIM OR restore connectivity
2. Activate the number from backend with international roaming enabled
3. Ensure I regain network access urgently
This is a complete service outage and requires urgent intervention.
