Airtel — false information and misguided by airtel secure. | |||
I had subscribed for airtel secure on 6/07/2017 and the agents were so sweet to help me when i wanted to subscribe and when i did i realised that the details of the handset in the airtel app and my device don't match at all, so i had to again call airtel to inform them the same and it was later changed. It just looked perfect the subscription date 6/07/2017 handset details now matched and when i raised a claim on the 28th of july that the mobile got damaged i was informed that the subscription date is the 15/07/2017 and not the 6th. Therefore the claim is being rejected as it's in the cooling period. This shows the heights that a company like airtel can go to just rip customers off and not give them the service as promised and just keep charging them. I'm sure this is just a forum where we can raise our voice but not going to affect the company in any ways if they lose a single customer. As a consumer we do have the rights like if 1. A trader or a service provider resort to unfair or restrictive practices of trade. 2. A trader or a service provider if charges a price more than the price displayed on the goods or the price that was agreed upon between the parties or the price that was stipulated under any law that exist take it forward and make sure others don't go through the same.
