[Resolved] Airtel — Fraud port my number from vodafone to airtel | |||
Dear sir Few days back i have applied for portability from vodafone to airtel. On the same day i got call from vodafone and the executive was insisting me to cancel the port request and offered me rs 549 plan. I agreed with him and asked him to activate the plan and cancelling porting request. And same plan has been activated on my number. Still i was getting frequent call from airtel. I told airtel customer executive several time that i don't want to port and cancel my request. The same i had informed to vodafone customer executive (I also have the copy of email) and they told me that they have cancelled the porting request. Now today my vodafone network was suddenly gone and got the message from airtel that my airtel sim got activated. What kind of fraud from airtel is this. How can they forcefully port my number when i already denied for same. Was this information helpful? | |||

Around 10:30 the network on my Vodafone SIM went off & I inserted the Airtel SIM. The network appeared for a min & disappeared. I have called customer care twice - once they said wait for 3 hours. The second time they said change your handset. I tried putting the SIM into another phone but that didn’t work either.
