Formal Complaint Regarding Incorrect Billing and Device Return Mishandling
Dear Airtel Customer Care,
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint about the mishandling of my account after I unbundled my Airtel Black plan.
Despite returning the DTH device as instructed, I was incorrectly charged approximately ₹250 in subsequent bills. On inquiry, I discovered that the device return was wrongly recorded as a WiFi device instead of a DTH device in your system. This error has caused me undue financial loss and persistent harassment via calls from Airtel representatives for nearly two months.
I request immediate correction of the billing error, reversal of all incorrect charges, and updating of your records to reflect the correct device return. Additionally, I demand that all further calls regarding this matter cease immediately.
If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will have no option but to escalate the matter to regulatory authorities and consumer forums.
Please acknowledge receipt of this complaint and provide a resolution within 7 working days.
