Complaint against airtel fiber internet service no resolution for 4 days

Unsolved problem frequently raising complaints and automatically ticket closed

Hello sir,
I took an Airtel Xstream Black connection on January 20, 2025. The Airtel guys come to our colony every day, and when I spoke to them, they said, We'll take care of the registration, and we'll install it within a day of registration.And they did. But from the day I got it, I started having problems with the Wi-Fi and DTH. Initially, I used to complain to the people who gave me the connection, but they didn't pay attention....

Regarding wifi

My wifi service has been stopped for 5-6 days, everyday I am complaining but don't getting help from ground level team also I requested airtel to replacement my wifi router because it might have problem working properly but still no response from airtel. I want compensation for the same and want complementary 1 month free recharge for the severe problems I faced on daily basis

I had ACT connection, I wanted DTH with landline so I switched to Airtel.
The team came and connection for Internet was done without DTH and landlines. Despite calling multiple time noone is responding.
I am nort satisfied. They are saying we have changed your plan. I don't want to change my plan.

I was misguided.

Kindly refund my money. As you your team is totally fraud. They don't pick phone.

    I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Airtel India for consistently poor network service in my area. Despite being a long-time customer and paying huge amount for a 4G/5G data plan, the mobile internet rarely works properly—it is either extremely slow or completely unavailable. In addition, I experience frequent call drops and voice break issues during calls, which has caused significant inconvenience both personally and professionally.

    I believe I am not receiving the services I am paying for, and this amounts to service deficiency.

    I request immediate action from Airtel to resolve these issues

      We are using 12 CUG connections for the past 23 years and some for the past 3years. last month there was some kyc updation request and we were not able to do it by ourself and we visited nearby Airtel showroom. the Artel showroom staffs refused to support as they were not clear on cug kyc updations. we used Airtel business hub and could do it for 7 cug connections succesfully. but 5 cug connections got disconnected even after our repeated mail to update kyc to all Airtel mail. but it got deactivated and requested them to activate the same for past 12 days. till last bill all paid.

      we need to activate the CUG numbers to get all otp for banking, gst and others.

        Using your sim card of tata docomo or airtel of number +91 [protected]. I here to say about by deactivated sim card. As i am out of station for an year from india. My sim has been deactivated. As my alll the information like bank, passport and all my accounts i please request to activate my sim card as soon as possible.
        Please let me know how to reactivate my sim card

          It is now three weeks passed but issue not resolved yet.

            I am writing to lodge a formal complaint against Airtel India regarding a serious issue with my mobile number [protected], which has been inactive for over 3 days due to a stuck SIM Swap Request in their system.

            🔹 Issue Details:
            I had requested an eSIM previously, which was later cancelled at the store.

            After factory resetting my phone and losing access to the old device, I visited the Airtel Store in Pune to get a new physical SIM.

            However, the store is unable to issue a new SIM, as the system shows:
            "SIM Swap Request is already in progress for [protected]".

            This pending request is stuck, and the Airtel backend is not resolving it.

            🔹 What I Have Already Tried:
            10+ emails sent to Airtel customer care.

            Multiple visits to the Airtel Store.

            Messages sent to @airtelindia on Instagram and Twitter.

            Raised the issue with the Nodal Officer, but no resolution or proper reply has been provided.

            🔹 Impact:
            My mobile number is completely inactive.

            I am missing important OTPs, banking alerts, and work-related calls.

            Airtel's failure to resolve this is causing severe inconvenience and possible financial loss.

            📌 Request:
            I kindly request the intervention of the regulatory body to:

            Direct Airtel to immediately close the pending SIM swap request.

            Ensure a new SIM is issued without further delay.

            Take note of the negligence and non-responsiveness from Airtel support teams.

            I have attached a screenshot showing the store error message as proof.

              My sim got corrupted, suddenly stopped working . I went to airtel store, they issued new sim but activation got rejected with reason "NAME MISMATCH". My Name is Swati and when the sim was issued (almost 10 years back) the typed SVATEE". My sim belongs to Mumbai circle and I am currently in PUNE. Now the agents are saying I need to visit Mumbai.
              They can't handle name mismatch issues.
              I can't visit/travel to Mumbai to such nonsense mistakes which is made from airtel end. As well customer care is suggesting "NO NEED to VISIT MUMBAI".

              I need that number at any cost since its almost 10 years I have been using that.

                Airtel, Mumbai

                Brief as follows.

                Make a note as follows against your reply receive this evening.

                1. You yourself has confirmed that 1 GB data loan was taken on 14 February 2025 once only. No any other loan in our account exists.

                2. And this loan as pointed out earlier and verified also through Google declaration (screenshot already sent to you) that this loan will be adjusted international recharge by reducing the validity period by one day. And on the basis of your such assure is of your policy, one day loan was taken.

                Google confirms the same as follows on its website.

                Repayment:
                The loan is repaid automatically by reducing the validity of your next recharge by one day.
                You don't need to take any further action to repay.

                3. And now just out of greed, you are asking for more recharge to settle the loan. This is totally illegal and exploitation on your part not acceptable by any court.

                4. Why should we recharge for any more data, where we have already paid you for almost 3 months having 1.5 GB data facility everyday.

                5 you have crows of clients and therefore even if you charge rupees 22 from 1 crore clients, you will grab rupees 22 crores just buy blackmailing them to recharge or you will keep their Data services dead exactly what you have done with us. We will take up this point to the consumer court to slap heavy penalty for your such blackmailing trade practices.

                6. You have kept our Data services dead for the last over one month. Evidently now to pressurize us to pay your illegal demand for One Day data loan.

                7. You said, the dead data services would be restored back by 30th April 2025. Why? Mention the legal and logical reason why you need so many days over a month to restore it back? Obviously you are responsible and totally liable legally for heavy compensation and reimbursement for all the suffering and monetary losses due to your such deficiency and negligence to keep our Data services dead for so long over a month by illegally linking it with one day loan payment due.

                8. Your trouble shooting steps are of no use as we already pointed out there is nothing wrong with the setting as even the reset of this setting does not make any change and keep the internet dead making it very clear that it has been deactivated at your end only to pressurize us to make illegal payment by data recharging not required by us at all.

                9. You are constraining us to drag you as already pointed out to the consumer court. You did not learn any lesson when you had to pay 5 lakhs rupees compensation in Jasmeet singh puri case.

                10. consumer court case, as reported by Bar and Bench, imposed a ₹5 lakh penalty on Airtel for harassing a custome by disconnecting his internet service . The court upheld the penalty, finding Airtel negligent in providing adequate service and using its position to harass the customer.

                11. We will tell the court to double the penalty from 5 lakh to 10 lacs because Airtel in fight of previous penalty continued harisingh customer a mountain to contempt of court. Make a legal note of.

                  When you call airtel and request for disconnection of data dongle number. They say pay the bill. I told them bill got generated yesterday and it is yet to reflect in Airtel App, the associate does not understand the issue
                  Then I asked her how to disconnect the service, the person says put that to phone - OMG ! it is DATA ONLY SIM CARD so the phone does not recognize the SIM as capable of sending or receiving SMS / CAlls

                  Is it so problematic that I have to beg airtel to get a disconnection

                    I book new Airtel wi-fi and DTH no 08/04/2025. Then wi-fi expert name mo amir khan ([protected] & [protected]) call me and said that u have to pay advance payment 2500/- . and then I will send installation ( service engineer) name Aman Kumar Pandey ([protected] & [protected]) in 4 hours. after completing 4 hours I call mo amir khan ([protected] & [protected]) to tell him no one came for installation. then he said that I spoke with service engineer and he will come to you at 19:30 . but no one come. then I call him again and told him that no one come and no one contact me regarding installation. Then he said that I will send service engineer next day in the morning.
                    Next day, I call him MO Aamir Khan and tell him that please send installation team, he said I will send installation team 10:30 morning, but no one come till 12 o'clock. Then I call him again and said that please refund my money. He said I will send installation team in 1 1/2 hour. And said please trust me, I will send installation team as soon as possible.

                    Till now, I have call around 60 to 80 times and Now time is 8:45 PM. No one come for installation and said that they will come in next day morning.

                      Dear Sir/ Madam,

                      I’m utterly frustrated and appalled by Airtel’s shockingly poor service. I’ve been a loyal Airtel customer for over 12 years, starting from Bangalore and later continuing in Guwahati, and I’ve had enough of being treated like this. Now, due to my sudden transfer to Siliguri, I’m facing nothing but delays, lies, and incompetence, and I’m done with it.
                      I first contacted Airtel Customer Care on 9th March’25 to initiate the relocation process for my DTH and Wifi. I was assured that, as a Black customer, everything would be handled smoothly, and that I wouldn't need to worry about anything. Well, that promise was a flat-out lie. After constant follow-ups on 10th March’25, 27th March’25, 30th March’25, 31st March’25, 3rd April’25, 5th April’25, and 6th April’25, I’m still stuck with no service.
                      On 30th March’25, I even took the entire day off and held my logistics truck just to unmount the DTH antenna, modem, and box, but no one showed up. Instead, I was left to handle everything myself, lugging equipment across the place while Airtel kept telling me it would be "taken care of." Spoiler: It wasn’t. Only the antenna base, which I couldn’t remove due to the risk of damage, remains. I shouldn’t have had to do this myself.
                      Now, as of today, 7 days without service, I am still waiting to have my DTH and Wifi reinstalled in Siliguri. Meanwhile, I am sure as hell going to get charged for services I haven’t been able to use since the 1st of April, all because of Airtel’s ineptitude. I demand a solution, or I will escalate this to every possible platform available.
                      Here's what I need, and I need it immediately:

                      Immediate installation of DTH & Wifi at my new Siliguri address.

                      Waiver of any unnecessary charges for accessories or any new equipment. Everything worked perfectly in Guwahati, and I shouldn’t be penalized for your complete lack of service.

                      Urgent attention to this matter as my work is getting severely impacted by Airtel’s absolute negligence.

                      If this is not sorted out immediately, I will ensure that everyone knows how terribly Airtel treats its long-time, loyal customers.

                        I got call from Airtel Black and I agreed to the plan for three months. They asked me to pay 1000/- before for pre booking. I have paid. They said engineer will call, no body has called in more than 12 hours now. The number of the person that I am given, he received call once and said that some other person will take care, and it was by mistake assigned to him. No other person has called me and even the person assigned to me is not picking up the call now. No one is responsive and there is no follow back. How is this justified to be reachable while taking money but not providing any service after that? Kindly get back on the installation or refund my money.

                          Hello, we have had some issues with the wifi connectivity of Airtel in the month of Feb. we wanted to remove the connection and hence contacted 121. After that the customer care executive asked for a day’s time to find a resolution to the connection issue and send a technician after that. On 22nd February a technician came to our house and we submitted the router to him and we were assured that the connection will be discontinued. Post that in March we received the bill and it had the excess amount. After that we contacted the customer care and they mentioned that the connection is still active and not deactivated.
                          We then gave them the details of the technician who came to pick the router. They have not yet looked into the matter. I have received multiple calls from different executives and still no resolution have been provided. I am seeking your help to resolve this issue because the modem was picked on 22nd February and still the bill is being generated. And no resolution is provided till now. We are the only one connecting airtel and still they have not adjusted the bill amount.
