Subject: Formal Complaint โ€“ Airtel Broadband Down for 18+ Days (Since 9th Feb) โ€“ Urgent Resolution Required

Respected Sir/Madam,

I am writing to formally complain about the non-functioning of my Airtel broadband connection for the past 18+ days (since 9th February 2025, 1:00 PM). Despite multiple complaints and follow-ups, Airtel has failed to restore the service or provide a resolution.

1. Service Down for 18+ Days โ€“ Complete broadband outage causing major inconvenience.

2. No Engineer Visit โ€“ Despite multiple requests, no technician has checked the issue.

3. False Commitments โ€“ Customer support has repeatedly given misleading deadlines.

4. Lack of Accountability โ€“ No action has been taken to resolve my complaint.

My Demands:

1. Immediate restoration of my broadband service.

2. Waiver of charges for the period of non-service.

3. Compensation for the inconvenience, work loss, and stress caused.

4. Strict action to ensure such negligence does not occur in the future.

Final Escalation & Legal Action:

Since my complaints have been ignored, I am now escalating this matter to:

โœ… Consumer Forum & TRAI for service negligence and compensation
โœ… Public grievance platforms (Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Google Reviews, and consumer forums)
โœ… Legal action for service failure and mental harassment

I expect immediate action on this complaint. If Airtel fails to respond or resolve my issue within 24 hours, I will be left with no choice but to file a legal grievance against Airtel for service deficiency.

    I was offered a bundled plan by an Airtel agent, which included Airtel Fiber WiFi, DTH TV, and multiple OTT subscriptions under a single package. Trusting the offer, I agreed and made the payment immediately.

    The next day, an engineer arrived and installed only the WiFi, stating that the DTH dish antenna would be installed the following day. However, it has now been almost 15 days, and despite multiple follow-ups with the Airtel store and their TSM, I have received nothing but false assurances. The DTH installation remains pending.

    Is this how Airtel treats its customersโ€”by making false promises and failing to deliver after taking their money?

      Wifi disconnection and threatning by agents

      I recharged my Airtel DTH with โ‚น258 for the Tamil SD pack on January 13, 2025, which was supposed to be valid for 30 days. However, my service was unexpectedly disconnected on February 4, 2025, after only 20–22 days.

      Upon contacting customer care for clarification, I was informed that the amount was adjusted due to the inclusion of three HD à la carte channels. However, during the entire recharge period, I'm not get viewed any HD channels specifically no: 755 Sun HD. Additionally, Airtel's own interface indicates that HD channels require a separate recharge, yet my amount was deducted without my knowledge.

      I was unaware that previously selected à la carte channels would continue to be charged with every new recharge, and there were no notifications or billing details reflecting this. This lack of transparency makes it difficult for customers to track deductions and ensure they are paying only for services they intend to use.

      I request an immediate resolution, including either a refund for the deducted amount or an extension of my Tamil SD pack for the remaining validity period. Additionally, I urge Airtel to improve its communication regarding auto-renewals of à la carte channels to prevent similar issues for other customers.

        Charging for channel that does not exist

        Hi I had subscribed for a channel in the month of jan2025 and the subscription charges are levied but from Feb even tho the charges are levied the channel does not exist ..

        I called airtel dth consumer complain multiple times they state it's their server problem and will fix by 24 hr but no change ...

        Y in india these big shot cheat the consumer I believe because even tho we complain no charges is taken against...

        Unfair unethical business practices

        Not adding my wife number into my family group airtel postpaid plan.

        For past 7 months I am visiting airtel showroom to add my wife number into my family group postpaid plan. They are not responding properly, instead of adding my wife number into my family cug postpaid plan. They changed my bill plan from Rs. 999 to Rs. 1199. They fooled me to do their sales target. Now again they are asking to upgrade into another for adding my wife number into my postpaid group plan. So many complaints I did, so many emails...

          My SIM porting request not completed

          I am using a corporate SIM. Since I am retired now, the company where I was working has given authorization to release the SIM on my name.
